Title: Swiggy's TNA EWR diary
Description: ok, I'm giving this a shot
Big F'N Swigg - January 28, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
So here's the deal. I have been inspired by DK's alluding to me being the DWB equivalent of Dusty and by my desire to have something to do when I'm not reading about HTML or Dreamweaver so I can make the site. So I'm gonna give an EWR diary a shot. This is my first EWR diary, though I have booked e-feds in the past.
Here's the guidelines:
It starts on February 1st, 2005. I'm going to work on keeping it as realistic as possible. This means that I'm going to work with the roster I'm given, picking up wrestlers only when the opportunity comes. I'll only get rid of people when they have low morale or when I need to clear some payroll. This is going to work as if I was Dusty, and will be the way I would have booked TNA AFTER Final Resolution.
Here's the Starting Roster:

Jeff Jarrett

Big F'N Swigg - January 28, 2005 02:18 AM (GMT)
From the Wrestling Observer:
Good news from the TNA camp as they announced today on advertising agreements with Sports Illustrated, Rolling Stone, and Playstation 2. There is also word that TNA could be talking to Stacker 2. If they were to acquire advertising rights from under WWE, it could change the view of TNA to many in the corporate landscape.
TNA has also undergone many backstage changes. Several on-air announcers have been told that they will be let go for financial reasons, including Jeff Hammond and Scott Hudson. Both Bill Banks and Dutch Mantell have been said to be uncomfortable as new writers are being interviewed to help booker T.B. Swiggy take the company in a different direction.
TNA officials are said to be looking to affiliate themselves with an existing promotion to serve as a "Developmental Territory." Names of several NWA affiliates have been thrown around, and some independents, including NACW. NACW runs out of the former NWA stronghold of the Carolinas, so we'll see how that develops.
Some backstage have been told to try and talk Rhyno into jumping ship. We'll see how that goes. Dusty Rhodes has been petitioning to bring in Steve Corino, and chances are that it could happen. His status as a former NWA champion leaves him a top priority for TNA.
Big F'N Swigg - January 28, 2005 02:37 AM (GMT)
From PWInsider:
TNA is gaining from the recent house cleaning at WWE. Several former WWE staff members have headed directly to TNA, including Pat Patterson, Lance Storm, and Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat. This is nothing but good news for TNA.
(Writer's Note: I attempted to hire Jim Cornette to manage the Naturals, but his beef with BG James and the Outsiders prevented that. I also know that Patterson is unlikely to sign with TNA, but the angle I'm pulling with the company is that they are the Jerome Bettis to the WWE's defense. It's also really hard for me not to sign Joey Styles, but I figure that no matter whether I stick him with Tenay or West, it would be a miserable sounding team.)
Mad Dog - January 28, 2005 05:30 AM (GMT)
I'm impressed you're keeping that much of the roster. I usually send half the roster packing before stealing every good wrestler from RoH.
Big F'N Swigg - January 28, 2005 09:38 PM (GMT)
Some of it is my desire to stay realistic, some of it is because of pre-established relationships. I may snatch some workers from smaller companies, but I'll mostly stay with what TNA has.
D.A.V.E. - January 28, 2005 11:39 PM (GMT)
I wish I was patient enough to do all those little news updates and so on, but I'm not.
Good luck with it though, and I'll keep an eye on it, like I do everyones.Best of luck with working with half a roster on verbal deals though!

Lucky for me, the half that stays on verbal is the half that won't be working.
i.e. Don Harris, etc.
EDIT: Unlucky for me are those like DDP, Dustin Rhodes and Kevin Nash. Bastards.
Big F'N Swigg - January 30, 2005 04:46 PM (GMT)
Since my game started Feb 1st, I have to back book two Impacts!, here goes:
1/21- Post FR iMPACT! tapings
Kevin Nash Verbally abused DDP for costing him his shot at the NWA Title. Nash called DDP “old-timer” saying “You know it’s bad when I’m calling you old.” The two have words until Dusty comes out. Dusty tells them that talk is cheap, and since Kevin Nash is about making money, the two can fight next week on Impact.
Match 1:Team Canada d. D-Ray & Shark Boy.
D-Ray starts the match with Bobby Roode. D-Ray motions around his waist asking Roode “Where’s the belt?” The crowd likes this, but Roode doesn’t. Roode takes it aggressively to D-Ray. Canada does a good job of preventing Shark Boy from getting in the match. After a hot tag, Shark Boy makes some headway with a hot offensive, which is soon cut down by D’Amore’s interference. The crowd boos LOUDLY. D-Ray makes a save, and Team Canada finishes off D-Ray & Shark Boy quickly after. Afterwards, Scott D’Amore yelled into the camera about Petey deserving a rematch.
Backstage, We see Sabin walking into Dusty’s office.
Match 2: Alex Shelley d. Jeff Hardy
The two start the match with a quick pace. Hardy is in control for a large portion of the match. Shelley begins to take over with some classic heel action. Shelley tosses Hardy over the top rope. While the ref is attempting to keep Shelley out, Abyss comes to the ring and attacks Hardy. Shelley notices and keeps the ref occupied. Abyss throws Hardy in, and Shelley makes the cover and gets the win. Shelley steps out to thank his former ally, and then Abyss attacks him as well.
Shane Douglas is waiting backstage with Raven, who has words for DDP. Raven is upset that DDP has cost him his friendship with Erik Watts. Raven had Watts wrapped around his finger, and how he feels as if his fingers have been broken. And DDP was the one who did the breaking. So now Raven will return the favor. By costing DDP something that he’s wanted. DDP needs to watch his back.
Match 3. The Naturals d. 3LK
Konnan and B.G. James come with the usual fanfare. B.G. starts the match out with some comedy, and comes to regret it as the Naturals are all business today. Douglas and Stevens do a good job keeping B.G. away, but Konnan eventually gets the hot tag. But it does no good as the Naturals double team him to keep the upper hand. The ref tries to break it up, but the Naturals knock him to the mat. The ref calls for the DQ. B.G. tries to help but The Naturals overwhelm him. Stevens goes to the floor and pulls two pair of handcuffs out of his robe. Stevens slaps the cuffs on Konnan while Douglas takes care of B.G. The two are facing each other across the ring. Ron Killings runs in to make the save but the Naturals are prepared. B.G. and Konnan are forced to watch as The Naturals beat their friend down. Tenay requests that they go to commercial so that no one is forced to watch this.
After break we see a replay of the attack (IRONY), and see a some prerecorded comments from AJ Styles about winning the X-Title again, and being the first Triple Crown winner in TNA. He’s phenomenal.
Match 4. DDP d. Johnny Swinger
DDP comes out to a good pop and takes control of the match right away. The two go back and forth in a decent match until Kevin Nash and Scott Hall walk out onto the entranceway. DDP gets distracted and Swinger takes advantage until DDP finds a way to hit the Diamond Cutter. DDP covers and gets the win. He stares at Nash, and the two share words until from the crowd comes RAVEN to attack DDP. Nash and Hall watch from the ramp way as DDP is assaulted with a chair and Don West has an aneurysm.
SEE YA NEXT WEEK!
--------------------------
1/22 Xplosion spoilers:
Sonny Siaki d. Erik Watts
3LK cut a promo on The Naturals
AMW d. The Irish Soccer Hooligans
Backstage, Kid Kash and Erik Watts have a confrontation. Kash said some VERY mean things.
Monty Brown SQUASHES Seth Knight
Big F'N Swigg - February 8, 2005 09:00 PM (GMT)
1/28 iMPACT!
The show opens with Jeff Jarrett making his way to the ring with the NWA title belt over his shoulder. He goes on about how funny it is that both Nash and DDP are trying to get to his belt. They should know they’ll never get it. This is planet Jarr….. And out comes Dusty Rhodes. Dusty tells Jarrett that he needs to stop calling TNA “his,” as Dusty is now in charge. Dusty tells Jarrett that he watched the Title match from Final Resolution several times over the past week, and he has something to tell Jarrett. Being the NWA champion is about respect. Respect for yourself, the belt, and your opponent. And Jarrett doesn’t have any of the above. That’s why, at Against All Odds, Jarrett will be taking on Monty Brown. One on One, and if he uses ANY weapons at all, he forfeit’s the belt. Jarrett isn’t happy, but Dusty isn’t going to stay around to here it.
Match 1: The Naturals d. Batts & Clark by DQ
The match barely gets underway when 3LK come out and attack the Naturals. The Naturals slide out of the ring and back up the walkway. 3LK say they want the Naturals now, and the Naturals go back to the locker room.
Shane Douglas is hosting a new segment called “Talking Business with the Franchise.” His first guest is DDP. Shane starts by asking DDP if he’s excited to be in a #1 contenders match. DDP replies that it’s always great to have an opportunity to be the champion. Douglas talks about DDP being the target of two members of the TNA roster, and asks DDP who he’s more worried about, Nash or Raven. DDP replies that he’s not really worried. He’s known both guys for most of his career. He even helped both Nash and Hall get a start with the Vinnie Vegas/Diamond Studd characters in the “Diamond Exchange.” What he’s upset about is that such little things can mess up such great friendships. Douglas asks him about his relationship with Erik Watts. DDP states that him and Erik are back on good terms, and that Erik has his back if Raven gets in the way. It’s about this time that the video screens flicker and Raven is seen. Raven goes off on a tangent about pain, loss, and the like. He guarantees DDP that he will feel pain and loss like he’s never felt before. Quote the Raven, Nevermore…..
Match 2: AJ Styles d. Elix Skipper
This is AJ’s first match since winning the X-division belt. Skipper starts the match with a basic collar and elbow tie-up. There is some impressive move-counter-move action that ends with the “indy applause stance.” Skipper taunts the crowd, AJ taunts as well, and Skipper cheap shots him to get advantage. Skipper takes control of the match with some high-flying X-Division moves. This continues on until Skipper thinks he has AJ beat and taunts an audience member. AJ, being a smart worker, uses this moment to dropkick Skipper to the mat. AJ catches his breath, and Skipper collects his head. Skipper stands up, and AJ delivers a Baseball slide to keep Skipper out. Skipper climbs back on the apron and tries to deliver a hurrancanrana, which Styles reverses into the Styles Clash for the 1-2-3.
Backstage, we see some of the heels watching the match on a monitor. Coach D’Amore says something about how Petey’s going to get his title shot at Against All Odds. Sabin takes offense to that, saying that he has already talked to Dusty about getting his shot at the belt on the PPV. The two have words, and have to be held apart by their fellow heels.
Match 3: Chris Harris d. Bobby Roode
D’Amore and Eric Young are ringside for Roode, Storm is ringside for Harris. The match starts with Harris attempting to get the crowd behind him. The two swap power moves back and forth, until Roode decides to try a “Test of Strength.” Harris begins to take over, but Roode kicks him in the ribs and takes control. Harris outsmarts Roode, but Young trips him up as he hit’s the ropes. Storm attacks Young, and the ref is distracted enough for D’Amore to climb up on the apron with the hockey stick. He goes to hit Harris, but Harris ducks and Roode catches a hockey stick on the noggin. Harris covers Roode, and the ref turns just in tie to make the count.
Backstage, Kevin Nash warms up for his “warm-up” match against Pat Kenney.
Match 4: Kevin Nash d. Pat Kenney.
Nash squashes Kenney after a valiant effort on the Irishman’s part.
As we roll out, we see pre-recorded comments from Monty Brown, who’ll take on Scott Hall next week on iMPACT!

Big F'N Swigg - February 8, 2005 10:02 PM (GMT)
From PWInsider.com
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have both been asking for TNA officials to give Jimmy Jacobs a tryout match. TNA officials have been receptive and are planning on giving Jacobs a shot in the next few weeks.
TNA has signed former WWE Developmental Talent Paul Birchall. He'll be working some matches on Xplosion until TNA booker T.B. Swiggy decides what to do with him.
TNA has finalized an advertising deal with Stacker 2. This is a major step for TNA, as this may give them the respect they need in the corporate world.
(Question: When do Japanese contracts usually run up? As in when can I sign workers with Japanese commitments so that they won't say anything about their commitments preventing them from working for a global promotion?)
D.A.V.E. - February 8, 2005 10:09 PM (GMT)
When you hit the Japan button, there's like a calender, that states when everybody's deal is up - it varies from month to month - Noah is July, New Japan is February.
Also, dont get your hopes up, while the game is fair, and you will get some guys, chances are they'll keep the really good guys for another year. Or bring in new ones
Big F'N Swigg - February 9, 2005 02:39 PM (GMT)
Damn. I'm in February, and that's when Zero-One announces their schedule.
D.A.V.E. - February 9, 2005 06:46 PM (GMT)
Same thing happened to me. You're fucked, basically.
Big F'N Swigg - February 20, 2005 02:19 AM (GMT)
IMPACT! 2/04/05
“Talking Business with the Franchise” starts off the show, and Shane Douglas’ guest today is none other than Raven. Douglas starts by asking Raven about his shadowy past. Raven goes on and on about how he’s always had a type of control over people, and that what he did to Erik Watts was nothing new. Douglas questions whether or not that makes it right. Raven threatens the Franchise. The Franchise steps up to Raven, and DDP comes out. DDP tells Raven that he’s seen the games Raven’s played, and he’s tired of it. He’s sick of Raven manipulating people into being his friends when he could have had actual friends.
Raven tells DDP that he should’ve kept his nose out of Raven’s business. But now that DDP is in Raven’s business, he’s going to have to get used to Raven showing up whenever Raven pleases. The two start to have words until Douglas splits them up. We go to commercial break.
Match #1: Erik Watts d. Lance Hoyt
This match is part of the Erik Watts/Kid Kash feud that’s been brewing on Xplosion. It starts with some good clean face offense by Erik Watts. Watts cleans house with Hoyt until Hoyt’s “cousin” Kid Kash comes wandering to the ring. Kash’s presence alone bothers Watts, but Watts keeps up his offense until Kash trips up Watts as he’s coming off the ropes. Hoyt takes some offense and uses some cheap tactics, but Watts gains the upper hand. Kash jumps on the apron to help out by distracting the ref, but Hoyt runs into him by accident after Watts threw him into the ropes. Watts rolls up Hoyt and gets the win.
Jeff Hardy is backstage talking about how he’s going to tear Abyss up. SMELL THE RATINGS!!!
Match #2: Team Canada d. Batts & Clark
Team Canada basically squashes Batts & Clark. Afterwards, Team Canada starts a beat down that ends when AMW runs in for the save. D’Amore leaves his Canadian flag on a Hockey Stick in the ring, and AMW replaces the Canadian flag with a US flag and wave it happily for the fans.
Scott Hall has a warning for Monty Brown: Hey yo, Monty Brown. You think you’re prepared? You think you’re ready for “The Bad Guy?” You better think twice. Up until now, you’ve been nothing but lucky. But just like everyone else who takes on “The Bad Guy” your luck is running up.
Match #3: Shane & Kazarian d. 3LK
On the way to the ring, 3LK encounter a fan who has a Naturals sign. BG stops and shakes his head in dismay. Shane and Kazarian are in control for most of the match, as 3LK seem a little uninspired in their ring work. Moreso than usual. The fans chant “We Want the Truth” as the match goes on, and Shane and Kazarian pick up a win from a distracted 3LK.
Jeff Jarrett has some comments for Monty Brown. Warning him that the NWA Title is the greatest prize that any professional sport has to offer. It is the accomplishment of a single man, not a team. Jarrett continues on, trying to intimidate Brown.
Match #4 Monty Brown d. Scott Hall
Scott Hall starts the match out playing with Monty Brown. Hall’s having fun until he figures out that Monty means business. Monty takes some serious offense and keeps Hall off his feet for most of the match. Hall’s clearly unprepared for Monty Brown, and goes to the outside of the ring to catch his breath. Monty doesn’t wait for Hall to get back in the ring, and jumps out to join the fun. He makes way to Hall, who puts out his hands. Brown stops, and Hall proceeds to tell him that “outside means time out.” Hall shakes his head and walks a few steps before Brown grabs his tights and throws him back in the ring. Brown sets Hall up for “THE POUNCE,” but Hall holds on to the ropes and Brown ends up diving out between the ropes. Hall gets up and walks around the ring. He turns around just in time to catch a “POOOOOUUUUNNNCCEE!” from Brown, who had jumped back in while Hall wasn’t looking. Brown makes the cover and gets the win.
After the match, Jarrett runs in and tries to attack Brown, but Brown takes off up the ramp way.
Big F'N Swigg - February 22, 2005 02:30 AM (GMT)
from TNAWrestling.com
TNA has decided to part ways with Johnny Swinger and Pat Kenney. We wish them well in all their future endeavors.
Big F'N Swigg - February 22, 2005 02:59 AM (GMT)
Xplosion 2/5/05
The Naturals have words for 3LK. It turns out that they have a reason for attacking The Truth, and 3LK will find out soon enough.
Match #1: Chris Sabin d. Alex Shelley
In a good, entertaining match, Sabin bested Shelley. Shelley played a good heel in the match, at one point taunting Sabin with “The Future is about to become the past!” Sabin declared himself #1, and called Petey Williams a pretender.
Kevin Nash is Backstage reminding DDP that he is what DDP should be focusing on, not Raven. He reminds DDP that in 3 weeks, he’ll be winning a shot at the NWA title.
Match #2 Dustin Rhodes d. Paul Birchall
A good match to introduce Birchall to the TNA fans. Birchall showed some interesting Technical skills, but Rhodes veteran smarts got him the win.
AJ Styles verbally assaults both Sabin and Williams. He tells him that he has a surprise for them that he’s going to announce on iMPACT! Soon.
Match #3: AMW d. Shane & Kazarian
AMW come to the ring waving an American flag on the Hockey Stick they got from D’Amore on iMPACT! Shane and Kazarian pretty much get schooled in the match, but Team Canada gets their hockey stick back during the match, US Flag and all.
Big F'N Swigg - February 22, 2005 03:14 AM (GMT)
From PWInsider.com:
iMPACT got a rating of 2.71 this week, with Xplosion pulling in a .01.
According to my sources, FSN and TNA are working out a deal to move iMPACT into Primetime.
Word has it that Xplosion's problems come from competing with several regional shows and Velocity. TNA has asked for a time slot change to get Xplosion some more exposure.
Johnny B. Badd was offered a release, and took it. Word has it that head booker T.B. Swiggy hasn't been high on Badd, and told him as much.
Big F'N Swigg - February 22, 2005 06:25 PM (GMT)
2/11/05 iMPACT Tapings:
Jarrett comes out to start the show. He says that the past few weeks have been all about DDP, Raven, and Kevin Nash. He reminds everyone that neither of those guys are the champion. There is only ONE NWA Champion, and that is Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett states that it doesn’t matter if he can’t use a guitar against Monty Brown. It doesn’t mean that the odds are against him. Jarrett could out wrestle Brown ANY DAY. This of course brings Monty out to defend himself. Monty says that Jarrett needs to stop whining, and start training. Because every day Monty is in the gym, and in the ring, preparing for his match. Monty says that his NFL background has helped him out, as he’s watched footage of Jarrett, and he knows all of Jarrett’s little tricks. Come February 27th, Jarrett’s going to be out of luck, and Monty will make him feel the POOOOUUUNNCCEE!!!!
Match #1: Petey Williams d. Jimmy Jacobs
As the match starts, Tenay informs us that Jarrett will be in the Main Event of Today’s iMPACT to prove that he is a champion that will give everyone a shot. The match is Jimmy Jacobs debut in TNA, and he doesn’t wait to get the crowd involved. He has the fans HUSSing by the time the bell rings. Williams, of course isn’t happy with that and attacks Jimmy right away. The match is good, with Jimmy even getting some offense, but D’Amore interferes and Jimmy takes his focus of Petey long enough for Petey to get the advantage and the win with the Canadian Destroyer.
Backstage, Sabin rips into Williams, saying that Petey let go of the title in the Ultimate X match, and that if it weren’t for him, Sabin would be X Division Champion. He says he doesn’t care what AJ’s Special Surprise is, he’s still going to show Petey Williams why he should “Hail Sabin.”
Match #2: Abyss d. Sonny Siaki
Siaki puts up a really good fight, and at times looks like he could walk away with the win, but Abyss throws his weight around and gets the win over Siaki with the Black Hole Slam. Afterwards, the lights dim and Jeff Hardy returns to iMPACT attacking Abyss with Abyss’ own chains.
After commercial, we have another installment of “Talking Business with The Franchise.” This time, The Franchise’s guest is AJ Styles. The Franchise starts with some easy questions about the difference between Heavyweight and X-Division style, and AJ’s winning the Ultimate X Match at Final Resolution. Then the Franchise asks the big question: What about Against All Odds? AJ hasn’t had a match announced yet! Is that what AJ’s big surprise is? AJ responds with a yes, and proceeds to tell us that at Against All Odds, he will be the special guest referee for the Sabin/Williams match. He asked Dusty, and Dusty obliged. He emphasizes that he will be fair in his judgment, and that he has no preferred opponent.
Match #3: Team Canada d. The Briscoe’s
This is The Briscoe’s TNA debut, as they were signed to a TNA contract on Wednesday. Team Canada came to the ring waving the American Flag that AMW had put on their hockey stick, except that Team Canada put the flag on upside down. This draws IRATE boos from the crowd. The match is a good showcase of solid tag-team wrestling. The Briscoe’s impressed the crowd, and helped make Team Canada look good as well. Scott D’Amore feigned interference to distract a ref long enough for Team Canada to get a double team and a win. TC layed into The Briscoe’s after the match, and AMW makes the save, using the hockey stick as a weapon only AFTER they removed the US flag. AMW then paraded around the ring holding the flag high to a HUGE pop.
The Naturals decide to call out 3LK, who don’t come out. But Dusty does, and tells us that Konnan & BG James are at The Truth’s house hanging out with their friend who was brutally injured at the hands of The Naturals. Which is why the two teams will meet at Against All Odds. The Naturals shake their head no, and tell Dusty they didn’t want to face 3LK at AAO, that it will ruin their plans. Dusty tells them that they should’ve thought about that before they ruined The Truth’s plans.
Match #4: Jeff Jarrett d. Hector Garza
The match isn’t very long, as Jarrett “outwrestles” Garza to a victory. Afterwards, as Jarrett celebrates, Nash walks onto one ramp, while DDP walks out on the other. Jarrett sees them both and leaves through the crowd.
Real F'n Show - February 22, 2005 06:37 PM (GMT)
Signing Jacobs and the Briscoes are good moves. I wouldn't disagree with letting go Mero either. Keep it up.
Big F'N Swigg - February 25, 2005 09:39 PM (GMT)
From the Observer:
Word has it that TNA has snatched up an underutilized wrestler from the ranks of WWE. He is expected to join the TNA roster in 3 months, and plans are being made accordingly. TNA is keeping their mouths shut tight to prevent this from leaking, and have asked the wrestler to do the same.
TNA is working hard with FSN to determine a time slot that would be beneficial to both parties. The main issue is FSN’s pre-empting for local sports, as TNA wants a stable and steady time slot. FSN’s brass are supposedly very happy with the current ratings in the mid-afternoon, and want to take a stab at wrestling in prime-time. One of the things holding up the time-slot is the current risk level of TNA’s programming. FSN would like TNA to tone it down, and TNA is worried that toning it down anymore would risk the loss of the 18-35 male demographic. TNA officials are also attempting to get a better timeslot for Xplosion as well. The show airs opposite Velocity in most markets, with competition also stemming from other smaller promotions television causing issues as well.
AJ Styles was given his spot as the special guest referee for two reasons: 1) Creative didn’t want a PPV with two no. 1 contender’s matches and two title matches. 2) There wasn’t a logical opponent for him to face at the PPV with both of his Ultimate X opponents fighting amongst themselves. ….. The current angle between Raven and DDP could possibly lead to a title match for Raven if DDP were to win the belt. As for now, there are not plans for Raven to be in a match at Against All Odds. He has pitched some ideas of a “flock” type group to feud with 3LK in the forseeable future…... Kevin Nash has asked to be put into a program with Dustin Rhodes. His logic is that Rhodes needs a rub to help get him over as a face and standing up to Nash might help……. Shane Douglas made an announcement at the last iMPACT taping that he has found religion and is now a changed man. Most of the guys thought that the announcement was a joke, and thus broke into laughter. Douglas supposedly handled it well, explaining that he has truly turned his life around. Most of the boys are skeptical. Some were overheard wondering whether he’ll “quit like Russo.”
Word has it that TNA is attempting to contact even more big names to try to jump on board, or jump ship. Some of the names being tossed about are: Steve Corino, Syxx-Pac, D-Lo, and Terry Funk. There are also several names big on the indy scene being tossed about, such as: Bryan Danielson, Trent Acid, Samoa Joe, Matt Stryker, Chad Collyer, and Austin Aries. None are guarantees.
TNA has secured a deal to start a developmental territory. The company will run out of Quebec with Pat Patterson as the head booker. They will run not just in Quebec, but in the eastern half of Canada, including Toronto. The roster is being secured, and at the moment includes: Austin Lee, D-Ray, Greg Pawluk, Jerrelle Clark, Jimmy Jacobs, Johnny Jeter, Jonny C, Lance Hoyt, Mikey Batts, Rick Santel, Seth Knight and Tyson Dux. Some of the wrestlers who have been on the main roster were asked to go to give Patterson some “seasoned” talent to work with and help out establishing the camp.
There is talk of bringing the NWA North American Title into the mix in TNA. Some feel that the belt would help to solidify the mid-card situation. Head Booker T.B. Swiggy has also been talking to NWA officials about uniting the NWA Jr. Heavyweight and X Division belt. He has said before that he believes the X Title to be too much of a gimmick, and that uniting it with the Jr. Heavyweight belt would give him the opportunity to bring in Japanese Jr. Heavyweights.
Sources say that there is talk of having the April PPV from a location other than Universal Studios. This is just speculation at the moment, though it could happen. TNA officials are looking into it, and want to start touring soon.
-------------------------------
Side note: I can't believe how much time I invested into that.

The match was balanced back and forth. Nash picked up the win after Raven tripped up Rhodes. DDP comes down and Raven walks up the ramp way. Nash and DDP stare each other down. Raven says that they both need to be careful because he wants, no, he deserves a title shot just as much as they do. And he’ll do whatever it takes to get it. Nash and DDP have more words before respecting each other and leaving the ring. **½
Big F'N Swigg - February 27, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
TNA Midweek Report:
-BG James and Konnan were both absent at the TV tapings last week. They were at Ron "The Truth" Killings house checking up on their friend and teammate. They took a camera crew with them, and from what I've heard, they have some hilarious footage to show to the TNA fans.
-Dustin Rhodes was said to be very upset with Kevin Nash about taking advantage of Raven's interference on Xplosion. Apparently, Nash and Rhodes had talked beforehand and agreed to have a professional match. Rhodes feels like Nash broke that agreement and is furious that Nash would sink to such a level.
-Several wrestlers have overheard both Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas making phone calls over the past few weeks, and many have said that the calls had something to do with the attacks on Ron "The Truth" Killings and the 3 Live Kru. We're hoping to get some more information on the situation.
-Monty Brown caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to Jeff Jarrett's locker room after the incident shown on Xplosion this week. It took several TNA officials to remove him from the room and calm him down. Some even told him to "save it for the Title Match."
-AMW was outraged that Team Canada would disrespect the American flag by flying it upside down. When told of this, Coach Scott D'Amore replied with "I'm outraged that they would steal my hockey stick! Whoever heard of cowboys playing hockey?"
The card for Against All Odds so far includes:
Monty Brown vs Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Title
DDP vs Kevin Nash in a #1 contender's match
Chris Sabin vs Petey Williams with AJ Styles as a guest referee
Expect to hear about more matches this week on iMPACT!

IMPACT 2/18/05
3LK are standing in the ring. BG James grabs the mic. “What happens when I get here today? I walk in the back door, and I have people coming up to me and K-Dawg telling me that the Naturals were calling us out last week. Last week, when I was at the Suntan Superman’s house. Watching out for my boy. K-Dawg and I try to take care of one of our own, and these two *****es try to act all hard when they know we‘re not here.”
Konnan grabs the mic. “Let me speak on this, dogg. Yo Yo. These two, they go and put our boy Truth out of commission, and now they gots the nerve to act all tough while we’re not around. Well guess what? When we meet head to head at Against All Odds, it will be NO HOLDS BARRED!”
The Crowd Pops.
BG grabs the mic: “Now that we got that out of the way, we can do what we’ve been wanting to do. We took a camera crew with us last week to the Truth’s house. We put this together so you guys could see how the Suntan Superman is doing. Roll it, boys!”
BG and Konnan are standing outside a house in Sunny Orlando Florida.
BG: So K-Dawg and myself decided to check up on our buddy. Let’s go inside.
BG and Konnan ring the doorbell and the door opens. Ron Killing’s sister Moesha opens the door. She sees BG and steps out of the way.
Moesha: You best be taking them dirty shoes off in this house.
BG: But these are Doc Martens!?!?! It’ll take me forever to untie these things!
Moesha: That ain’t my problem. (smiles) Hello, Konnan!
Konnan: Hey, chica. What’s happening?
BG: What are you? Cheech?
Moesha: Watch your mouth in this house.
BG: WHAT?? What did I say?
Konnan: Chill out, Dogg. We’re here to see Truth, remember?
Konnan walks into the living room without taking off his shoes. BG looks up.
BG: What the? Hey, wait up.
BG hops on one foot as he tries to take off his boot. He finally gets it off, and ends up falling on his face as a result.
BG: (on floor) Man, this ain’t right.
The setting changes to the Truth’s living room. Truth is sitting on the couch with his arm in a sling, and his right leg wrapped. He also has a bandage on his forehead and a black eye. Konnan is sitting in a recliner, and Moesha is on the couch between her brother and K-Dawg. BG walks in as they are talking and can’t find a place to sit. He starts to sit on the coffee table, but Moesha kicks him in the shin. So he ends up taking a seat on the armrest of K-Dawg’s recliner.
Konnan: What are you man, my wife? Get off, man.
BG looks at Konnan and shakes his head. He ends up leaning against the wall.
Konnan: Well, Ron. Why don’t you tell everyone what’s up?
Truth: Well, man, I’m just recovering from that attack. My legs not broken, but it’s severely bruised. I had a dislocated shoulder, and they popped it back in and I have to wear this sling. I also had a concussion and some bad cuts on my head.
BG: What about that black eye?
Truth: Moesha gave me that when I told her you where coming over.
BG: (looks at Moesha) What have you got against me? What have I ever done to you?
Moesha: You best not be bringing that up!
BG: WHAT??
Konnan: Man, shut up. This is about Truth.
Moesha: (rubs Konnan’s arm) That’s right, fool. Let my brother talk.
Truth: Let me tell you something, Naturals. I don’t know why you did this, and I don’t care. Just know that there is no Kryptonite for the Suntan Superman. So when I get back, you’re going to be having some problems.
K-Dawg and BG shake hands with Truth and wish him well. They walk to the door. BG starts to put on his shoes.
Moesha: What are you waiting for? GET OUT OF MY HOUSE, YOU KNUCKLEHEAD!!
BG looks up as Moesha pushes him out. She turns to Konnan.
Moesha: Feel free to come back anytime.
Konnan: Thanks. I’ll see you around.
We’re now back in the arena. Konnan grabs the mic: It’s on now, Naturals. Revenge is best served cold.
BG: That’s right, and this revenge is colder than Moesha’s ** COMMERCIAL BREAK**
Match 1: Alex Shelley d. Sonny Siaki
Siaki starts the match with some chop and punch offense after Shelley taunts a fat fan in the front row. Siaki plays up his offensive moveset in a series that ends with a Samoan Drop and a pin attempt. Shelley kicks out and Siaki ends up on the mat as Shelley takes to some mat wrestling. Good match that ends when Shelley nails the ShellShock. ***
Shelley grabs the mic. He has heard all the rumors backstage. He’s read them on the internet. He’s seen them in the dirt sheets. And he knows what’s going on. He’s being held down, and he doesn’t like it. He declares that if the NWA North American Title is brought into TNA, it should be put around his waist. Giving it to anyone else would not only insult the North American Title, TNA’s fans, and the organization itself, but it would also insult Shelley. And he doesn’t take insults well.
Match 2: Abyss & Raven vs. Jeff Hardy & Erik Watts
The match was mostly Abyss taunting Jeff Hardy by beating Watts senseless. (Here’s a question: If Watts is already senseless, what does that make him?). After Hardy finally gets a hot tag, he gets double teamed while the ref checks on Watts. Abyss gets the pin after Raven DDT’s Hardy. Afterwards, Abyss drags Hardy through the crowd, slowly beating him around the arena. After they head backstage, Raven starts to walk up the ramp until DDP comes out and offers Raven a deal. If Raven can beat DDP next Friday on iMPACT, he’ll take DDP’s spot in the #1 contender’s match. But if Raven loses, he can’t bother DDP until after DDP gets his title shot. Raven considers the offer.*1/2
Monty Brown comes out and taunts Jeff Jarrett. Last week Jarrett claimed that he could outwrestle Monty Brown, and Brown’s gonna prove him wrong. But since last week Jarrett outwrestled an opponent of his own choosing, how about this week he wrestles one of Monty’s choosing? Jarrett comes out and accepts the challenge. We’ll see who it is in the Main Event of Today’s Impact.
Match 3: Dustin Rhodes vs. Scott Hall
The two veterans play their parts well. Rhodes is a bit more aggressive than usual, and Tenay blames it on his anger with Nash. Hall doesn’t act as surprised as he did when he took on Monty Brown, but doesn’t expect Rhodes to be this aggressive. He cheats to get the upper hand a few times, but Rhodes finally gets the win using Nash’s finisher, the Jackknife PowerBomb. I think he’s aiming for Nash. **1/4
Backstage, AJ is walking. Scott D’Amore calls for him. “AJ, Petey really wants to win his match at AAO. We can coun’t on you helping us out, right? Because you don’t want to know what happens if you let us down. AJ: “As I’ve said before, Scott, I’m calling it right down the middle. Now if you’ll excuse me.” Aj starts to walk off when out of nowhere Bobby Roode, Johnny Devine and Eric Young attack. D’Amore laughs.
Match 4: Jeff Jarrett vs. ?????
Jarrett makes his way to the ring, and holds his belt high. He looks to the ramp and loudly says “Come on, bring whoever you got! I’ll take on ANYONE!!”
At this point the lights dim and the music begins to play. The crowd intently watches the chute for signs of ANYONE. After a brief moment, the crowd erupts as the NEW F’N SHOW, JERRY LYNN walks through the chutes. Don West creams his pants and Mike Tenay rants on and on. Here’s a sample:
WEST: OHMYGOD!!!!! DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS, MIKE??? DO YOU???
TENAY: OF COURSE I DO!! THAT’S JERRY LYNN!! But he’s not even supposed to be here today! (What, is his middle name Dante?) He’s been rehabilitating from a near career ending injury!
WEST: IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE IT WAS NEAR ENOUGH, AS HE’S RIGHT HERE IN THE IMPACT ZONE!!!!!!! (Note: This is usually when West’s voice gets all gargly and unintelligible)
TENAY: That’s right he is, Don. He’s a former X Division Champion, a former Tag Team Champion, a former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion, and a former E-C-W Television Champion, and he’s right here on iMPACT!
WEST: I BET JEFF JARRETT WASN’T EXPECTING THIS!!! OH MY!!!!!!
TENAY: Jarrett will definitely have his hands full as Jerry Lynn is an 18 year veteran who knows his way around the ring, Don. He’s honed his skills worldwide, working wherever he was given an opportunity. Now he’s here on Impact, and he’s about to give Jeff Jarrett a lesson in RESPECT!! How do you like that, Jarrett? I BET YOU’RE SURPISED NOW, HUH?
Back to the match: Jarrett is stunned. Lynn is stoked. Jerry points at Jeff. “It’s just you and me, cowboy.” Jarrett acts indignant: “I can beat you. I’m not afraid. This is Planet Jarrett. It’s My World, and you’re just living in it! I’m the King of the…” Lynn takes the chance to attack the mouthy champion. Kicks, punches and slaps until Jarrett is against the ropes. Lynn with an Irish whip, and Jarrett reverses. Lynn comes off the ropes, Jarrett drops to the mat, and Lynn drops the leg on the back of Jarrett’s head. The crowd pops as Lynn pulls Jarrett to his feet. Lynn wrenches Jarrett’s arm. Jarrett starts selling like he’s a girl scout with Thin Mints. Jarrett reverses the old fashioned way (Without leaving his feet). Lynn agonizes in pain for a second, before cart wheeling, and flipping, etc. He finishes it with an arm drag that leaves Jarrett looking at him in shock. The crowd pops again. Lynn slaps his formerly injured arm and says “I’m just warming up!”
Jarrett gets back to his feet. He wants a test of strength. Lynn obliges. Jarrett starts with the advantage. Lynn is on one knee. As he starts to pull back up Jarrett kicks him in the ribs and delivers a staggering DDT. The crowd boos as Jarrett kicks his downed opponent. Jarrett proclaims “It’s my world” before stomping Lynn’s head. Jarrett pulls Lynn up by his hair an walks him over to the turnbuckle. Lynn’s goes head first into the top turnbuckle five times. Jerry staggers and collapses to the floor between the top two ropes.
Jarrett steps out onto the apron with his back to Lynn. He taunts, and Lynn takes advantage by pulling his feet out from under him. Jarrett goes face first onto the apron before falling to the floor. The fans start with a “Let’s go Jerry” chant. Lynn smashes Jarrett’s head into the ringpost, and then into the steel steps. Jarrett stumbles about as Lynn leads him to the announce table.
Lynn throws Jarrett on top of the announce table. The crowd climbs to their feet in anticipation as Lynn sets up for the Cradle Piledriver. The announcers move, and the crowd stirs until Jarrett hiptosses Jerry Lynn onto the floor. OUCH!!!!!
Jarrett mumbles “It’s Planet Jarrett” into the camera before he rolls off of the announce table. He reaches under the ring and pulls our a guitar. He holds it high as Jerry Lynn begins to stand. Out of the chute comes Monty Brown. The crowd pops, but Jarrett hears it too late, as Brown delivers the POOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEE to the champ at ringside. The ref rings for the DQ and Monty raises Lynn’s hand in victory. He then grabs the belt from the ringside attendant and holds it high. **1/2

Raven and Punk's dislike of Julio is more so of an ego trip for them, beating on him make them feel better. Now they are pissed off that Julio can actually fight back against them.
Matt Hardy is upset in my game because he's a main eventer and I've been jobbing him out for the majority of my diary. His morale was pretty low even before the diary started and it affected his match quality which lead to him holding the WWF Championship for two weeks and not longer. I've spent a long time trying to boost his morale in the game (I have dark matches on each show that feature the main eventers from the other roster so they don't lose morale for only being used twice per week). Now I'm sick of Matt's crap, so he's sitting his contract out (I cannot fire him because he has too many friends on the roster).
For my own amusement, I've paired Lita up with Steve Corino as well, maybe I'll bring in Danny Doring.
:D

Actually, yes, I did.
I know how long it can be to write matches out like that, you wouldn't want to know how much time I spent writing Survivor Series and Vengeance for my diary. It takes a certain state of mind (and LOTS of free time) to pull it off.
For that, I commend you. The shorter descriptions are good too, but a longer match is definitly good for MEs.

Xplosion 2/19/05
Announcers: Joshua Kincaid and “The Franchise” Shane Douglas
Match # 1 AMW d. John Walters & Jonny C
The match is the standard tag squash. Nothing special. *1/4
Raven responds to DDP's offer
Raven is in his candlelit locker room. Above him are pictures of DDP, Saturn, Erik Watts, The Gathering, The Flock, and Stevie Richards. All the pictures are in broken frames so that you can barely make out some of them. Raven is sitting on the floor. He begins to speak:
“Diamond Dallas Page, you made me an offer Friday. Some would call it “an offer I can’t refuse.” But I can’t agree with everyone else. You see, you’ve done something that very few men have dared to do. Interfere with my personal business and friendships. Above me are pictures of “friends” that I’ve had over the years. In ECW, in WCW, in WWE, and now in TNA. But these friends no longer consider me friends. Why? Because I grew tired of them.
Yes, it is a game to me. If they challenge me, or if they decide to try to turn the game around, I’ll let them know who played them before leaving them in their own blood. But this last friend of mine (he grabs the broken picture of Watts), he didn’t leave on my accord. No. He was taken from me. Taken by YOU. (throws down the picture and stands up) And I can’t allow things like that to happen, can I? After all, one friend escapes and from then on it’s just work, work, work.
But that’s not all. You’ve decided to try and make amends. To try to settle the score. You’ve given me a chance to set the train of my life back on the tracks from which they have been derailed. You have put the cart back behind the horse, so to say, by giving me the opportunity to prove my Destiny. To get my shot at Jeff Jarrett. To win the Title which is rightfully mine. Which Jarrett has withheld from me for almost a year. Will I take it? Will I leave it? Is business more important than personal vendettas?
I cannot say. We shall see, Diamond Dallas Page. This Friday we shall see.”
Kincaid: What does that mean? He didn’t give us a straight answer!
Douglas: That’s Raven’s way, Josh. He’s tryng to make DDP squirm.
Match #2: Sabin d. Johnny Devine
This match wasn’t bad, but Sabin dominated. Afterwards, Petey Williams came down and assaulted Sabin. Devine joined in and the crowd started calling for AJ to make the save. But AJ didn’t come down. *1/4
Siaki's upset
We see backstage footage from iMPACT as Sonny Siaki is PISSED that Alex Shelley made an example out of him.
Match #3: AJ Styles d. Michael Shane
The match goes back and forth as they fight a more heavyweight style than X-Division style. AJ takes advantage of Shane’s taunting and hit’s the Styles Clash for the win. Afterwards Chris Sabin hit’s the ring and comes face to face with AJ. Styles goes down as Shane hits him with a steel chair. Shane sticks out his hand and offers it to Sabin. Sabin takes it and nails Shane with it. He then picks up Shane and delivers the Future Shock. Styles starts to stand and Sabin points at Shane saying “Next time, that’s you!” **1/4
Big F'N Swigg - March 12, 2005 04:14 PM (GMT)
from PWInsider.com:
FSN has had a change in it's power structure in the past few weeks. This has had TNA worried, as even though they've been negotiating for a better time spot, it could all be for naught if the wrong person were to come to power. It seems that this has now become the case. After the new President took office, one of his first demands included removing wrestling from the programming, as he does not see it as a true sport. His demand has been met, as iMPACT! is no longer part of FSN's programming.
Some of you may ask: How is this possible? Do they not have a contract? Well, the way that TNA had tendered the deal, they had to pay to get their airtime. FSN has now refused to accept their payments and has left TNA without their national television show. TNA officials are now scrambling to find a new network deal, as their PPV's are set for the next several months.
(GUESS WHO FORGOT TO TURN DOWN THE RISK LEVEL???)
James Storm has informed TNA officials that he has signed a deal to work some dates for Ring of Honor. No word yet how TNA officials have taken to this news.
Big F'N Swigg - March 12, 2005 04:35 PM (GMT)
TNA's Midweek news report:
TNA would like to apologize to our fans nationwide as this week a change in the power structure of FSN cost us our programming on that network. This means that until further notice, iMPACT is off the air. Don't despair though, as TNA brass are trying their best to find another network home for our programming.
As seen on Xplosion last week, Sonny Siaki wasn't happy with the fact that Alex Shelley made an example out of him to earn his spot. Siaki was seen talking to DOA Dusty Rhodes after iMPACT in the DOA's "office."
DDP has been calm and collected this week, as he doesn't know whether or not he will face Raven. The match has been moved to Xplosion, which will now air as our main show until we find a new home for iMPACT. Raven didn't give a clear answer on this week's Xplosion, so you'll have to tune in to see what happens.
Kevin Nash has been working out and is said to be in the best shape of his TNA career. He has told us that he will be wearing a knee brace for his match with DDP at AAO.
Chris Sabin was said to be furious with AJ Styles for not helping out as Petey Williams attacked him on Xplosion. The two were seen having it out backstage. AJ has told us that he couldn't interfere because it would compromise his role as a referee at AAO.
Jeff Hardy is currently doing well after being assaulted by Abyss after their match on iMPACT! Hardy needed some medical attention, but was given clearance to wrestle as soon as he wanted.

Tenay and West calling it.
Monty Brown d. Bobby Roode
The night before Against All Odds, The Alpha Male takes to the ring to warm up for his championship match. Roode offers a good challenge, but Monty gets the win with the POUNCE! **1/4
The Naturals take a stab at 3LK with a verbal assault
Kid Kash d. AJ Styles
This match is well balanced and is the best effort from either we’ve seen since the last PPV. Kash seems motivated and driven, and Styles shows why he is the X-Division Champion. Kash gets the win as Petey Williams interferes. Sabin runs down to help, but instead attacks AJ and Petey both. ***1/4
AMW warn Team Canada that there is a reason that AMW are the tag champs, and Team Canada isn’t. And it has something to do with talent. OOH, BURN!!!!
DDP vs. Raven???
DDP comes to the ring, and grabs a mic. “Raven, I’ve known you for a while now, brother. I know you like to try and play mind games. Well, it’s not working right now. I’m ready. Let’s go. Me and you. Right here, right now.”
DDP drops the mic and keeps his muscles warm.
WEST: I don’t think he’s gonna do it! I think Raven would rather spend time bothering DDP than attempting to get the belt!
TENAY: That’s what makes Raven so dangerous. You can never predict his next step.
Raven’s music plays and Raven steps out of the chute. He throws his arms out. He walks down to the ring and grabs the microphone out of Jeremy Borash’s hand. He shoves Borash out of the way and stands face to face with DDP. “DDP, I’m going to give you credit right here. You’re a smart man. You took lemons and made lemonade. All the while remaining “Positively Page.” I’m here not just to accept your challenge, and my destiny, but to offer you my hand. I’m so impressed by your ability to manipulate the force that drives EVERY wrestler, that I’m going to shake your hand.”
Raven puts his hand out. DDP looks at Raven, and then to the crowd. The crowd pleads for Page not accept the offer, but Page nods and shakes Raven’s hand. Raven takes the opportunity to pull DDP close before kneeing him in the ribs. DDP doubles over and Raven clubs him across the back with several forearms. The crowd boos Raven loudly. He reacts by waving his middle finger in the air. Raven throws DDP into the turnbuckle. DDP groans in pain as Raven collides with him. DDP falls to the mat.
Raven picks DDP up and slaps on an Octopus Stretch. DDP groans. The crowd tries their best to help DDP by clapping in unison. DDP throws his head back. Raven dodges, and DDP gets enough leverage to hip toss Raven.
Raven stands up and attempts a clothesline. DDP ducks and delivers some strong right hands, including a spinning right that knocks Raven into the turnbuckle. DDP grabs Raven and sets him up for a vertical suplex. He actually delivers a slingshot vertical suplex off the top rope. He gets up and points to the fans. The crowd pops. DDP grabs Raven by the head and slaps on a sleeper. Raven slowly makes it to his feet and sheds DDP by throwing him into the ropes. DDP comes off the ropes. Raven telegraphs a hiptoss, which DDP counters with a swinging neck breaker. Raven rolls out of the ring.
DDP leans between the top two ropes and reaches for Raven’s hair. He pulls Raven onto the apron, moving himself over the ropes as he does it. Raven delivers a stunner, which slingshots DDP off the ropes. Raven grabs a chair and rolls into the ring. The referee runs and grabs the chair from Raven. As they’re fighting over the chair DDP runs up and delivers the Diamond Cutter to Raven. The ref throws the chair and counts the 1-2-3.
DDP stands up and celebrates. Raven slowly begins to stumble to his feet. DDP turns around to face him and offers him his hand. Raven looks at DDP and then falls backward through the ropes. He walks backwards up the ramp saying “It’s not over. Not until I say so…” **

Against All Odds-February 27, 2005
-Live From the iMPACT Zone in Orlando.
Dark Match:
-Christopher Daniels d. Jeff Hardy
The match was fairly good, with each worker getting a fair amount of offense. Daniels gets the win by cheating.
The show starts with a good, Sahadi-made video putting over the “Against All Odds” theme.
There is a Reason I’m the Alpha Male!
THE FRANCHISE is standing backstage with the ALPHA MALE MONTY BROWN. The Franchise asks Monty if he’s prepared to take on the champion. Monty looks at the Franchise who in return hands Monty the mic and backs away. Monty looks directly at the camera.
“AM I READY TO TAKE ON THE CHAMPION??? I AM a champion!!!! I’ve taken the field and shined like a polished diamond in the rough of competition! I have won two separate Super Bowls. I know pressure.
I will admit that the pressure I’m feeling now is different than the pressure I felt all those years ago. I am no longer part of a team. I am an individual. But that’s fine with me, as I’m free to attack whoever I choose. I’m not held down by coaches and other players, anymore. I’m roaming the Serengeti, and you’re my prey. There is a reason I am the Alpha Male, Jeff Jarrett. Tonight you’ll discover that reason.”
We see the story behind the Special Guest Referee match.
CHRIS SABIN vs. PETEY WILLIAMS w/ COACH D’AMORE & BOBBY ROODE -Special Guest Referee AJ STYLES
AJ banned the rest of Team Canada from ringside right off the bat. Petey’s attitude cost him a lot in the match, as he was sometimes pre-occupied with yelling at AJ instead of beating Sabin. Sabin stayed fairly focused, though a bit of taunting cost him at times. In the end, Sabin gets the win with the Cradle Shock after a great series involving Sabin reversing the Canadian Destroyer. Petey blamed AJ, saying that AJ counted fast.
WINNER: SABIN ****
THIS IS A DISGRACE!!!
Scott D’Amore is backstage with the Franchise:
“This is outrageous! I have every right to be at ringside during Petey’s match! I’m his coach! He needs me to help strategize! I blame AJ Styles for Petey losing this match, as he separated Petey from his strategist.”
Petey walks up
“And he counted fast! I didn’t even hear a seperation between his counts!”
D’Amore: “AND HE COUNTED FAST!!! This is disgraceful, Shane Douglas, DISGRACEFUL!!!”
THE NATURALS vs. THREE LIVE KRU
3LK started out the match ON FIRE as they were totally P’Oed! BG and Konnan played their parts well, as you felt as if every punch was for Ron Killings. The Naturals took a massive beating in this one. It looked like a squash until The Naturals cheated to get an advantage. 3LK overcame the odds, and would have come out on top if it wasn’t for the interference of “The Smartest Man In Wrestling” Alex Shelley. Shelley cost the veterans the match, leaving Tenay to speculate if he was the one who wanted Killings taken out.
WINNER: THE NATURALS, thanks to ALEX SHELLEY**1/2
BIG SEXY WILL COME OUT ON TOP!!!
Joshua Kincaid is standing backstage with Kevin Nash. Kincaid asks Nash what his strategy is for his match.
“Strategy? My strategy is to walk in the ring, beat his ass, and then walk out the #1 Contender. If my hair was longer, I might toss it about some, but thanks to the movie companies that’s not going to happen.
Kincaid: Will Scott Hall have any part in the match?
Nash: “Oh, he’ll be out there, but he’s basically just for show.”
Kincaid: So he won’t be interfering?
Nash: “What’s the matter, kid? Didn’t you read the script?”
Kincaid: Um, well…. Are you confident you’ll come out on top?
Nash: “Oh yeah, Big Sexy likes it on top!”
DDP vs KEVIN NASH w/ Scott Hall
Hall basically played the part of ref distracter, keeping the ref occupied whenever Nash needed. The match went back and forth, with DDP getting ahead skill wise, and Nash getting ahead with power and size. Hall distracted the ref about 3 times before Dustin Rhodes came down to distract Hall. Nash wasn’t too pleased and Rhodes made sure Nash knew that he didn’t care. This let DDP slip in a Diamond Cutter on the distracted Nash. This gave DDP the win 1-2-3.
WINNER: DDP thanks to DUSTIN RHODES-¾* Because Nash can’t sell
JARRETT WILL FEEL THE BANG!!
The Franchise congratulates DDP on his victory. Shane tells DDP that it’s not easy to beat a 7 footer like Nash, and DDP agrees.
“It’s true Franchise, and it just goes to show that DDP still has a lot left in him. Enough to take the NWA Heavyweight Championship off the waist of that coward Jeff Jarrett. Enough to hold that title high and make everyone in the NWA proud of their champ.
Jarrett, bring everything you got, because I will make you feel the BANG!!!!”
JEFF JARRETT vs. MONTY BROWN
Jarrett was ready for Monty Brown this time, and prepared well as he seemed to know every step Monty was going to take. Monty was shocked, and it didn’t bode well for him early on. Eventually, though, he got the upper hand on Jarrett. Jarrett gets knocked for a loop and spends a little while gathering himself outside the ring. Brown eventually gets tired of waiting and hops outside while Jarrett hops in. Turns out that Jarrett was just trying to get Monty outside the ring so he could get the upper hand. Jarrett throws Monty around a bit, and then throws him into the ropes. Big Mistake, as Monty turns it into a POOOOOUUUUUNNCCEE!
Monty makes a mistake, though, and plays to the crowd a bit. He then makes another mistake as he covers Jarrett without hooking the leg. Jarrett gets the leg up, and then his arm at the 2.83 mark. Monty can’t believe it. He’s shocked. Jarrett is grinning as he lays on his back. Monty picks Jarrett up, who punches him in the ribs and follows it with a DDT. Jarrett looks to the crowd and yells “It’s MY WORLD!!” Jarrett slaps on the figure four. Monty screams. Monty attempts to turn it over. Jarrett rolls back into the proper position and Monty uses his tremendous upper body strength to push himself towards the ropes. He finally gets there and Jarrett doesn’t want to let go. The ref separates the two of them, and Monty uses the ropes to pull himself up, but he’s having a hard time standing up. The ref checks on him. Jarrett throws the ref aside and kicks Monty’s leg. Monty falls to the floor. Jarrett stomps on Monty’s leg. Monty is screaming in agony. Jarrett leans over and Monty grabs hold of him. Monty struggles and Jarrett turns it into a Stroke. Jarrett grabs Monty’s leg and goes for the pin. He gets the win CLEAN 1-2-3.
WINNER: And Still Champion JEFF JARRETT-***
After the match is over, Jarrett grabs the guitar and assaults Monty.
AFTER THE SHOW:
As Jarrett was assaulting Brown, AJ Styles music hits and AJ runs in to make the save. AJ helps Monty to his feet. 3LK come down and do a rap in honor of Monty’s “valiant” effort.

Kevin Nash is said to be irate after the interference of Dustin Rhodes in his match against DDP at Against All Odds. Nash caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to the backstage area. When asked about it, Rhodes merely said “Just returning the favor.”
Several wrestlers backstage have been complaining recently about the attitude of Sonjay Dutt backstage. The complaints have led to Dutt being suspended for 3 months. After this three months is up Sonjay will be given a trial period to consider his attitude.
Scott D’Amore is petitioning TNA management for a rematch of Petey Williams’ Against All Odds match with Petey Williams without AJ Styles as the special guest ref. D’Amore feels that AJ was partial to Sabin and hopes to get an ‘impartial” ref for the rematch.
3LK have been quick to point fingers and say that Alex Shelley is the one behind the attack on Ron Killings. The interference of the “Smartest Man In Wrestling” was a surprise to everyone except the Naturals, who gladly accepted Shelley’s help. 3LK have guaranteed that Shelley will pay for Killings pain.
The Against All Odds PPV earned a .81 buyrate. This is a positive for TNA, especially after losing iMPACT off of FSN. TNA officials are celebrating as we speak by preparing for March’s PPV, Destination X.
TNA is still pursuing an active TV deal. They have been in talks with USA, DirecTV and Paramount Syndication. We apologize sincerely for the inconvenience that has been caused to our fans, and we hope to have it fixed soon.
TNA welcomes Tommy Dreamer into it’s offices. Tommy was recently recruited as a trainer by none other than Raven. We appreciate his work, and TNA’s trainees are excited to work with him.

PETEY WILLIAMS VS. SHARK BOY
Petey and Shark Boy had fun in the match, with Petey finally tiring of playing around with Shark Boy and beating him with the Canadian Destroyer.
WINNER: PETEY ***½
THE SMARTEST MAN IN WRESTLING TALKS!
Alex Shelley has some comments he recorded earlier in the week.
“So as I was online after my appearance at Against All Odds, I found out that a lot of people think that I have something to do with the attacks on K-Krush, I mean, Ron Killings. Sorry about that, I just have a hard time calling him Ron Killings. I’ve been a fan for so long, you know. So anyhow, I would just like to clear things up. I didn’t have ANYTHING to do with the attack on Killings.
Some people may want to know. “Why would you help out the Naturals, then, Alex?” Well, I’ve been reading in the dirt sheets, and I have deduced who is backing them. I know. So I hopped on board before it became a bandwagon. I’m a rising star, and in this business a rising star needs some support and back up, and that’s why I helped.
So Konnan, Road… I mean, B.G., you might as well back off. I’m the Smartest Man In Wrestling, and I was just doing what was best for me.
THE OUTSIDERS vs. THE BRISCOES
The match was brief, with The Briscoes getting a little offense. But not much. The Outsiders just tossed them around. If I were the Briscoes, I’d be pissed. But I’d also be scared as the Outsiders have a lot of pull. So I’d make them happy by selling like they were God. So The Outsiders win. Yeah.
WINNERS: THE OUTSIDERS ***½
After the Match, Dustin Rhodes ran in and attacked The Outsiders. Guess who’s getting held down next?
HEY GUESS WHAT: IT’S PLANET JARRETT
Jeff Jarrett has some words for DDP:
“Diamond Dallas Page. You keep running your mouth saying that you’ve got lots left in you, that you’re going to make me “feel the bang.” Well last Sunday on Pay-Per-View, I proved that there’s plenty in my tank by taking out Monty Brown. And there is plenty left for you. Planet Jarrett is full of Natural Resources, and it’s not running out soon.”
ABYSS vs. DON HARRIS
Yeah, it’s a squash worth watching as Don Harris does what he should do. The J-O-B.
WINNER: ABYSS ¾*
SamoaRowe - March 25, 2005 02:25 PM (GMT)
Holy crap, the Outsiders in a ***1/2 match? I know the Briscoes are great, but I didn't realize they were gods.
