This one should be interesting.

Does Windham's period's of awesome overcome his lazy periods. You decide.

It overcomes it.

I gave him a yay, but always thought he was slightly overrated at his best.

I agree a bit. I strongly disagree with the people that act like he should've been given the NWA World Title in the 80s. He was great at the time but I don't think he could've carried the ball at the top long term. I think you'd be looking at another Steamboat

He SHOULD have been given the NWA title in the 80s. He worked great with Flair and would have been a good opponent for him.

Yay. Even though he somehow went from one of the best workers of his day (mid 80's through early 90's) to one of the worst and most uninspired (1994 on), he's had way too many "good" to say nay.

Steamboat was worlds better than Windham. I think he would've been more like a Ronnie Garvin.

Scrooge McSuck - December 3, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
Now that's not fair. Garvin had no right being champion, and the fans made that clear at Starrcade '87. Windham at least had the fans support in his wars with Flair.

Mad Dog - December 4, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
Actually Windham had a brief revival as a worker in WCW in 1998.

I would've been ok with him getting Garvin's run of a few months but nothing more than 4 months at the most.
