Proof that there will never be an over real tag team to hold the tag team titles on SD. I rather liked MVP and Hardy as champions. But something about Miz and Morrison being champions seems alright too. Meh.

Hornswoggle has put on some weight.

I was starting to wonder how long the makeshift MVP/Matt team was going to last as champs, but now I can start doing the same thing with the makeshift Morrison/Miz team. I predict they'll hold the belts until January, because creative will forget they hold them.

dynamite kido - November 14, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
I'm pretty bummed that MVP/Hardy lost the tag belts. That's consistantly been on the the better parts of SD and I would have liked to see that last a little longer perhaps with them dominating the tag division. They could have continued to get over with the gimmick and gave some people the rub in the meantime. Besides that team there is very little of value on SD and Miz/Morrison are nothing more than a makeshift team anyway.

Plus, Miz has a title and that shouldn't happen period.

That's okay, the Smackdown version of the tag titles has been held by the likes of Kenzo Suzuki, I don't think Miz hurts it any further :P .

Yeah, but the belts have been brought up a bit by the likes of MVP/Hardy having them. So of course they give it to whoever and wonder why they won't mean shit again after a little while.

Can someone explain why there is still a brand extension when MVP & Kennedy were taking on The Hardys on ECW despite the fact that NONE OF THEM ARE ON THE ECW ROSTER

Its ECW's "working relationship" with Smackdown.

In other words, "We only have eleven people on our active roster, send help."

There is truth in that. I guess from my perspective, the Smackdown titles haven't really meant much since the initial Paul Heyman-booked era.

Not to mention that they called this "Survivor Series Preview" week or some goofy thing like that.

WWE did the same thing to build up Survivor Series last year, and as a result they didn't bother restoring the lines between the rosters until six months later.

Big F'N Swigg - November 14, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
I understand that, but at least use ECW guys in the match.

SamoaRowe - November 14, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
It doesn't bother me anymore. From here on out, to me ECW and Smackdown are the same brand.

QFT.

I started watching Smackdown last night. I enjoyed the Finlay/Jeff Hardy match. Then it got boring. As in really boring. And they were hyping a Mark Henry/Batista match. So I said "No thank you" and turned it off in favor of some Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVDs.

Note to WWE: just because you don't have wrestling competition on the same scale as you doesn't mean that you can half-ass anything. As you might have guessed, wrestling fans like other forms of entertainment too.

Scrooge McSuck - November 19, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
LAAAAAAAAAAAAME!

No Kane pisses me off. :(

SamoaRowe - November 19, 2007 08:37 PM (GMT)
