Many are the days that have numbered and lingered in recent weeks without relevance or any importance above that which they normally contain. But now, as we look to the imminent future, we see a vantage point on the horizon that approaches with promise, enlightenment and all-around prominence. For it is on this soon-arriving day, that the normals know as "Flag Day", that the Superstars of DWB shall ascend and scale to new heights and penultimate challenges.







In other words, I'm going to launch our site on June 14 (a Thursday).

Took this out of the "Members Only" area so we can announce it to the WORLD.

If you've expressed interest in writing a column, please have at least one page submitted to me by June 13 at "admin--at---DaWrestlingSite--dot-- com". June 13's not a "deadline"...more of a "guideline". If you can't make it, don't worry. You're still in the club.

I have to say that although I don't have time to really do any writing for the site, I think E is doing a great job with all of this. Keep up the good work!!!!!

I wish everyone the best with this, oh, and I might have an "in" if you guys were interested on getting FREE WWE DVD's (these would NOT be DVD-r's they would be the real deal, straight from a company) for review. When everything is up and running and there are reviews up on the site I can give whoever would do these the lowdown.

I'd be up for it. I'd start reviewing DVD's if I could get my hands on some. As for right now, I have absolutely no extra cash, and therefore get no DVD's.

I'll have several reviews read to go for the launch. Just got in a few months worth of old Mid- Atlantic TV show, a couple months of Georgia, Starrcade 83, and a few more. That plus 3-4 music reviews I've got waiting to go.

Send 'em along now. I was mulling over whether or not to ax the "music" category. So content is good.

Did you guys still want to do "staff blogs"? If not, I'll just put up kayfabed bios of the "DWS Superstars".

Ah jeez, if I was getting free DVDs for review, I'd definitely do it.

Alright, I'll get 'em to you in the next day or two. Had a show last night and a studio session tonight, but I'm free tomorrow night to clean them up and get them to you. Is there any kind of feed you can do on the music section like you did with sports? It may be weird to just have my reviews up there.

There's a general "entertainment" feed...but it has shit like celebrity gossip, movie premieres and Nielsen ratings.

I could finish off my "all-Time Nifty Tunes" tape series of shitty 80's metal, but those don't seem too popular.

I'm working on a review now that'll be done by days end, but I think I could squeeze off a few exclusively for the launch.

If I can offer one guideline, it's Keep it Skinny. Be careful about posting long URLs or really long (over 600 pixels) images on all blogs.

After further review--- forget about hosting blogs on the site. Use the "free blogger hosting" option under "settings --> publishing".

I never post pictures of such large stature! :D

I'd also recommend removing the "dashboard" stripe on your blogs. Sort of feeds an audience into Blogger.com instead of our site.

Look for "hide dashboard" or something to that effect under "Template".

Hmm... looking around and I don't see any choice for disabling it. I'll keep looking, but for now, courage.

BTW, if I have the time, I can do little recaps of classic baseball games on MLB.com's subscription thing, if that would be something anyone would care for.
