Well, it seems as if they have already announced Flair/Orton for tonight..............weeeeeeeeeeeeeee........
Scrooge McSuck - January 24, 2005 02:42 PM (GMT)
In the immortal words of Archie Bunker, Whoop-de-do!
TehDoct0r - January 24, 2005 04:35 PM (GMT)
I know some of you guys hate Orton, but I'm usually entertained by both of them, so it should be fun for me.
Scrooge McSuck - January 25, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
Raw suckd.... REALLY REALLY Sucked.
Batista shoving the flag between Conways ASS CHEEKS (not in it thank God) was just so wrong and gay and disgusting on so many levels.
dynamite kido - January 25, 2005 06:09 AM (GMT)
This show was pretty bad. I didn't mind the six man to start the show but there really wasn't anything else worth watching.
TehDoct0r - January 25, 2005 03:35 PM (GMT)
I knew everyone was saying they were gonna do a JR skit, but seriously, what did that accomplish?
whitemilesdavis - January 25, 2005 03:50 PM (GMT)
You know, Flair/ Orton was coming along fine until the ref bump. Can Raw never have a 10+ minute match without a ref bump? It's the most overused cliche in WWE. And what was the purpose of this one? Couldn't Flair just have lost cleanly? Was this match really so important that it could only use a Dusty finish? Ah, I kept flipping the channels all night. Raw just wasn't keeping my interest.
One more thing. No one guy should be able to beat the tag champs. That's suppose to be the deal, that they work so good as a team that no team can beat them, much less one guy. They can suck as singles wrestlers and get jobbed to every guy on the roster, but when it comes to tag-teaming, that should be their specialty. Bad booking.
Mad Dog - January 25, 2005 03:53 PM (GMT)
The WWF lost the point of tag team wrestling in the mid 90s.
I miss the days when the two biggest names on the roster could team up and a good tag team could out work them in a match.
Scrooge McSuck - January 25, 2005 04:44 PM (GMT)
Batista going over accomplished Batista as a monster. This is a man that could take out Kane without the need of super powers. The man who took out Goldberg for the $100,000 bounty. Manhandled Chris Benoit a little while back, destroyed everyone in the Elimination Chamber...
Now if Shawn Michaels beat La Resistance in a handicap match, that would suck because HBK looks like a girlier man than Sylvain Grenier.
Mad Dog - January 25, 2005 04:54 PM (GMT)
Winning a handicap match is meaningless anymore. The singles guy always overcomes the superior numbers in the WWF these days.
Scrooge McSuck - January 25, 2005 05:00 PM (GMT)
Stumped me there... I can't think of the last time in recent memory that someone lost to the 2/3/4 whatever people in a handicap match (without interference).
Benoit basically lost to La Resistance 2-on-1, except Edge had to run in.
whitemilesdavis - January 25, 2005 05:34 PM (GMT)
So there is zero point to the tag-titles then. Obviously Batista has no desire for them whatsoever, because he could win them with JR.
Scrooge McSuck - January 25, 2005 05:45 PM (GMT)
Everyone knows the Tag Division is a joke. How many real teams are even on RAW? La Resistance. THAT'S IT!
WWE should just make the Tag Titles a RAW Exclusive and move all Tag Teams from SD onto there, and send over the women and CW's to Smackdown to balance it out.
dynamite kido - January 25, 2005 09:51 PM (GMT)
Honestly, the WWE booking their tag champs to lose to Bautista like that last night was the best usage of the tag titles in sometime. Hell, if you want to build up a monster.....have him squash the tag champs. Well, it's not like they had to worry about burying the champions.......they were buried a long time ago.

So are they going anywhere with Tajiri and Regal? They never followed up on that segment. And Raw was terrible. I didn't even like the opener that much, and I enjoy 5 of the 6 in that match on a regular basis...
Scrooge McSuck - January 25, 2005 10:46 PM (GMT)
I think they are going to set something up on Heat, or during the PPV itself.
TAJIRI & REGAL REUNITE! IT'S MORPHIN TIME!
For the next 4 months, playing Eugene, it's Tajiri!
Mad Dog - January 26, 2005 03:54 PM (GMT)
Does anyone have a non-spoiler match list for Smackdown?
dynamite kido - January 26, 2005 05:11 PM (GMT)
Velocity
Akio vs. Nunzio
Bashams vs. Charlie Haas/Bob Holly
Smackdown
Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio/Booker T vs Mark Jindrak/Luther Reigns/ Orlando Jordan
John Cena vs. Kenzo Suzuki
Paul London vs. Shannon Moore vs. Funaki vs. Spike Dudley
Kurt Angle vs. JBL.
Scrooge McSuck - January 26, 2005 05:32 PM (GMT)
Akio vs. Nunzio on Velocity could be good... Smackdown looks iffy, depending on how the booking is (pre-PPV? Probably horrible booking)
dynamite kido - January 26, 2005 06:33 PM (GMT)
Honestly, if it comes across on TV like the way I read it.....the JBL/Angle match might be pretty decent.
