Title: Melina given WM ultimatum

dynamite kido - March 12, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
QUOTE
We have been hearing backstage that WWE management has nearly had it with Women's Champion Melina. She already had atomic heat with everyone backstage not named Mick Foley, and her extreme carelessness in recent matches with Mickie James has angered management to the point where she was issued an ultimatum: if her match at WrestleMania 23 with Ashley is not up to their expectations, she can expect to be doing some job searching after the event is over."

Good.

One less air-headed ditz who thinks she's more than a piece of eye candy for 14 year old perverts is always great.

Edit: Wait, why is MICK FOLEY backing her again?

SamoaRowe - March 12, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
Foley has some stupid mark-ish crush on her.

Though Melina has been sloppy as all hell these past weeks, I think its a little unfair to expect her to deliver when her opponent is fucking Ashley.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:06 PM (GMT)
Simple...

Don't fucking drop her on her head or anywhere else that could lead to serious injury, because you can't fucking wrestle.

It's not THAT hard. Unless, of course, you're Jackie Gayda.

SamoaRowe - March 12, 2007 05:09 PM (GMT)
I'm guessing this also means that Ashley is definetly winning the Women's title at Wrestlemania, just in case Vince has to deliver a "YOU'RE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRED!" towards Melina at the 'Mania after party?

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:10 PM (GMT)
That would be awesome... and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Melina almost fired last year for being a total bitch? I'm sure that's gonna help her here, too.

(roots for a -**** classic at WM: ALL GROWN UP)

SamoaRowe - March 12, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
I wish more people in the WWE backstage area would act like "Grown ups." <_<

Yeah, it was a little over a year ago when the Smackdown locker room held "Wrestler's Court" for Melina, due to her acting superior, or some stupid reason.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
Who would pay $40 to see JBL give Melina a lariat? ... a REAL one.

SamoaRowe - March 12, 2007 05:26 PM (GMT)
That would be entertaining too.

I really don't understand why Mickie James has been taken out of the equation. She's a better wrestler than both Ashley and Melina combined, and doesn't have the rep for hurting people or having a bad attitude.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:26 PM (GMT)
And she's not a butterface.

Why? Easy.

Mickey isn't the main women heel or on the cover of Playboy. It's that simple.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
On topic, Ashley naked is less attrative than Torrie Wilson.

I actually looked at the PB the other day and I thought that Ashley looked pretty good. I mean, at least her fake tits are even. Unlike Torrie Wilson and her two different sized tits.

SamoaRowe - March 12, 2007 05:41 PM (GMT)
Well, if they wanted to capitilize on Ashley's Playboy-ness, they could've thrown her into some horrible T&A match with Candice or Torrie... oh wait, that's actually worse.

Okay, the match sort of makes sense, but it still feels like complete bullshit that Mickie won't be involved in the women's title match this year.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
Throw Mickie in for a 3-way... Wait, I should phrase that better.

I agree that Mickie should be in the women's match, but honestly they are just booking it lazy and whatever anyway so who really cares. I'm hoping Ashley fucks the match all up and gets Melina fired.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
Then when Melina is fired, TNA will hire her to manage a new team featuring Frankie Kazarian... if he's still employed.

I think it'd be nice if they were both fired...

... which I say partly in jest. So far, Ashley hasn't shown any reasons to dislike her (aside from her inferior ring work, but what do you really expect from a model who has only recieved wrestling training since 2005?).

For her being able to work or not being featured on TV? Then again, that's the WWE's fault, not her's.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
Poll time! Will this be worse than Trish/Hemme from WM 21?

Me thinks yes. Trish, to her credit, was good by WWE standards. Melina has yet to show me anything to prove she doesn't suck. The Hemme/Ashley comparison is too even. Some model that got naked gets a title match at WM without any wrestling experience.

dynamite kido - March 12, 2007 05:48 PM (GMT)
It'll be worse.

Oh, I agree. I mean that Ashley seems like a perfectly pleasant and likable person.

And this match will be worse than Christy/Trish. We're going to be begging for that match by the time this one is over.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:50 PM (GMT)
We'll be begging for a flaming hot poker in the ass by the time this one is over.

dynamite kido - March 12, 2007 05:51 PM (GMT)
We'll be begging for a crippled midgets match after that one.

Scrooge McSuck - March 12, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
I'd be begging for that either way. Midgets = Entertainment.

To quote a great character,. ... CRIPPLE FIGHT!

TehDoct0r - March 12, 2007 10:07 PM (GMT)
The only thing I remember from the Trish/Christy match was the promos leading up to it with Hemm and Angle doing the orgasm scene. And Linda McMahon doing "I'll have what she's having."

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 12:16 PM (GMT)
That wasn't a promo, that was a spoof of that movie who's name I forgot.

whitemilesdavis - March 13, 2007 12:29 PM (GMT)
When Harry Met Sally

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
That's the one... the only comical thing about that one was Angle's bad wig... and him screaming tap over and over.

His wig was rather awesome.

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 03:42 PM (GMT)
For the record, I meant bad as in good... and shake your booty means to wiggle ones butt. Allow me to demonstrate.

You know what I meant.

And those were awesome. The Undertaker Dirty Harry one, the Taxi Driver one, and the Basic Instinct one in particular.

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 03:54 PM (GMT)
The only thing good about Basic Instinct was Christian. That guy was GOLD in 2005.

Taxi Driver was easily the best. "THAT wasn't my fault!"

Dirty Harry had it's moments too.

TehDoct0r - March 13, 2007 03:55 PM (GMT)
The best part of the Taxi Driver one was Carlito saying "You talking to me?" in his accent. And when the props fell and he said it wasn't cool.

dynamite kido - March 13, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
You can't forget the Pulp Fiction w/Eddie/Booker. That shit was awesome.

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
I'm sure I'm forgetting someone from that spoof that really stood out as hilarious.

TehDoct0r - March 13, 2007 03:59 PM (GMT)
See, I liked the idea of Eddie as Vincent Vega and Booker as Jules Winfield, but the execution of it seemed a little off. Except Bookers bug eyes when he turned around, that was awesome.

The whole idea behind those skits were awesome.

You must be forgetting about the wigs.

Scrooge McSuck - March 13, 2007 04:00 PM (GMT)
Triple H's Braveheart wasn't too bad, either. Ric Flair saved it from mediocre, though.
