Description: starts tomorrow night

New cases of people using the “N” word are on the rise in an all new “South Park” entitled, “With Apologies to Jesse Jackson,” premiering on Wednesday, March 7 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.
While the citizens of “South Park” must contend with the widespread use of the racial slur, Cartman fights a midget. |
Oh boy.
dynamite kido - March 6, 2007 09:11 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the reminder. New season this Wednesday, and this one seems like it could be a winner for sure...
SamoaRowe - March 6, 2007 09:20 PM (GMT)
There's been plenty of current events worth mocking, so I have high hopes.
eStragand - March 8, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
Who knew Jesse Jackson had a "Kiss My Ass" club?
South Park's known for beating a joke until it's dead, buried and decomposing...but this week's two jokes seemed to really linger. Outside of those two (the "N-word" and Cartman laughing at the midget), not much else made me laugh.
"Words are like bullets" might get used, though.
SamoaRowe - March 9, 2007 03:58 AM (GMT)
I practically died when Randy was on Wheel of Fortune. That was seriously hilarious.
I also loved Cartman laughing at the midget all episode. Some things just don't get old.
Also, loved...
Stan: You have to stop being mad, Jesse Jackson forgave my dad.
Token: Jesse Jackson isn't the lord of all black people!
Stan: ... he told my dad he was.
Or it was something along those lines, great bit.

From the bits I saw, it looked fine. After 10 seasons though, you expect a downhill battle.
See also: The Simpsons. Ew.
SamoaRowe - March 9, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)
What? The Simpsons have been great this season.
I had to love Bart talking to his shrink. "I dreamed that my family and I were cartoons that made a network successful enough to start a propaganda channel called Fox News."
TehDoct0r - March 9, 2007 03:54 PM (GMT)
In my opinon, The Simpsons has declined, but not nearly at the rate people pretend.
South Park, on the other hand, has remained at an insanely high level. Some of my favorite episodes have been from recent seasons (Scientology, the anime one, World of Warcraft, Dog the Bounty Hunter). Nothing can beat the time Cartman made the kid eat his own parents tho.
Scrooge McSuck - March 9, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
That was, like, season 5. Scott Tenorman must die, or something it was titled?
TehDoct0r - March 9, 2007 04:12 PM (GMT)
Yea, something like that. I couldn't laugh for a week after that. I blew a fuse.
Scrooge McSuck - March 9, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't say it was THAT funny. The NAMBLA episode was, though.
"I don't like boys. I like men my own age. I mean, wait, what did I say... i love titties!"
Real F'n Show - March 9, 2007 05:37 PM (GMT)
NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH I MADE YOU EAT YOUR PARENTS
Scrooge McSuck - March 9, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
The pony licking the hot dog between the dummies legs over and over was funny. I'm sure Jimbo showed up to make a wise ass "gay" joke, but I forgot what it was.
Real F'n Show - March 9, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
Yep. That is probably my favorite episode of all time. Followed closely by Woodland Critter Christmas.
eStragand - March 9, 2007 06:07 PM (GMT)
BTW, I'm having a birthday get-together at Casa Bonita on the 30th. Seriously.
Scrooge McSuck - March 9, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)
Was that the episode where Cartman had to pretend Butters ran away or something... or was that a different episode?
eStragand - March 9, 2007 06:19 PM (GMT)
Something like that. Cartman was pissed that he wasn't invited to Kyle's birthday at Casa Bonita.
People don't believe me that it's real:

"Eric, are you teaching that Pony to pleasure you?!?"
Scrooge McSuck - March 9, 2007 07:55 PM (GMT)
Who could forget "It Hits The Fan" and Mr. Garrison singing "hey there shitty shitty fag fag."
Or the Cripple Fight. "I'm living a lie, Timmy!"
SamoaRowe - March 9, 2007 08:00 PM (GMT)
Or the entire ManBearPig episode.
Gore: Keep your eyes out for Manbearpig droppings.
Kids: We don't know what they look like.
Gore: They look like pig droppings, only more manbear-ish.

I just watched the new episode last night and I thought it was excellent. There's no doubt in my mind that SP should be on the decline, but it still stands strong every new season. I like the fact that they seem to still have some passion to do it considering that Stone/Parker are filthy rich.
jamiegeist - March 9, 2007 09:15 PM (GMT)
Yeah, just fucking hilarious. Cartman laughing so hard at the midget seriously had me convulsing like he was. The midget's fucking waddle was killing me too. I thought the Nigger-Guy shit was a little overkill, but was still funny. I'm anxiously awaiting someone getting legitimately pissed about it. Its like they never learn.
Oh, and while we're throwing out hysterical greatest moments, I just watched the "Butt Out" episode again last night. The into to that seriously makes me fucking die a little inside each time. If you don't remember, the little 4 person anti-smoking singing group or whatever. They go into a "freestyle" and the dude it all "Don't sm-sm-sm-sm-smoke you don't gotta don't smoke smokey smoke you don't, wicka wicka wicka"
Or something. Seriously, makes me laugh my fucking ass off.

South Park absolutely killed me again this week!
Cartman: I totally got Butters! He fell asleep and I pulled down his pants a took a picture of his weiner in my mouth!
Stan: How is that getting Butters?
Cartman: It means that he's gay!
Stan: No, that means you're gay!
Cartman: Wha?
Also, I love the part where Butters is at the heterosexual training camp and the guide is about to introduce him to his accountabuddy, who is hard at work at choosing to be straight thanks to Christ, then he opens the door and we found that the kid hung himself.
jamiegeist - March 16, 2007 06:15 AM (GMT)
That's accountabilibuddy. Which is like, 20 times funnier.
And I loved Cartman explaining how it happened:
I was gonna take a really awesome picture of butters, and then like, he got really hot, and took his pajama bottoms down, and then I tripped and fell, and my mouth went on his weiner, and then I thought of something really funny and kinda gave a thumbs up.
Awesome stuff, and Cartman pretty much raping Butters was just so goddam funny.
