I think it's time to call this a failure. His superstar aura has really died a painful death on Smackdown. He also seems to be totally regressing as a wrestler. While he was never what I'd even call average he was passable. Now he just seems awful in the ring. He seems totally lazy or trying to not get hurt again.

Maybe it's time to push him down the card a bit. Maybe an upper mid-card guy. I can't see him carrying the promotion at all anymore.

I agree with you. The only time he was really hot was during the Evolution days, and the resulting program with HHH. I thought Booker T was doing great as champ, too. It's a shame the push didn't go the other way.

After watching RAW last night, I've come to realize something with big Dave.

It seems as if the crowds are still on his side, and hopefully the one thing that they look to be doing will work.....

TURN BATISTA HEEL. It's something that could freshen him up, and we all know that's pretty much all he needs right now. Plus, he's going to be the defacto heel in a feud with Taker......so they should just go with it. I'm guessing it will get held off though until after No Way Out though, since their tagging.

Exactly. Brock's 2003 summer heel turn was awful. And they were trying way to hard to make him a bully too, especially that endless footage of him terrorizing Zach Gowen before throwing him down some stairs.

That shit was the awesome. I miss Brock.

Brock beating the piss out of Gowen was A-list material. I'd watch him throwing crippy-boy down the stairs 10 times in a row.
