So what do you guys think about Misawa winning the GHC belt again?

I'm not thrilled with the idea. I wasn't a fan of Marufuji as the champ and I was right that it effected attendence. But I don't feel Misawa is not the answer. His time passed a couple of years ago. It's time to find some younger stars for NOAH to survive.

Gotta say, NOAH is the most appealing fed in Japan to me. It's too bad that Marufuji's reign as champ was that poorly recieved, as the man is a tremendous in ring performer.

It's all a setup to finally do the FINAL Kobashi/Misawa match or so that they can do Kawada/Misawa for the title again I'm thinking.

The problem with Marufuji is that attendance sucked for his first title defense and the people were only there to see Misawa for this defense. The people just aren't willing to accept a junior if he doesn't bulk up and wrestle in the heavyweight division full time.

I expect the Misawa reign to last around 4 title defenses with him losing it at their big Dome show in July. No one since Kobashi lost the belt has managed more than a couple of defenses and Misawa has never lasted past 1 successful defense with the GHC Title.
