From Everybody Loves Raymond and Young Frankenstein fame. He was 71. RIP.
That sucks. This came a day after I avoided homework for two hours by watching Everybody Loves Raymond on TBS.
RIP
"Puttin' on the ritz!"
"yahhhhhhhhhhh"
I've never even watched one episode of "Raymond". Growing up, I knew him as "some guy" from Young Frankenstein and Johnny Dangerously. I didn't learn his name until The Dream Team in February 1989-- where he played a crazy exhibitionist guy who believed he was Jesus. After that, I'd think "oh yeah, Peter Boyle, that guy's cool".
I was always confused until The Dream Team. There was (and still is) a local Denver radio talkshow host named "Peter Boyles". I heard that name more often and didn't think "Peter Boyle" was the name of an actor.
Honestly, Frank was the only reason to ever watch "Raymond".
