4. Steel Cage match: Bret Hart vs Issac Yankem

Issac starts off attacking Bret. Bret comes back and starts to climb the cage. Issac catches him. They trade trying to climb the cage but get caught by the other. We see that Jerry Lawler traded the lock becuase the Ref can't open the cage. Bret puts on the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. As bret leaves the cage, Lawler catches him and punches him. Lawler then is put in a sepearte cage and goes up in the air. After serveral minutes of boring action, Hart hits the bulldog and climbs the cage to win.

Comments: Boring cage match. ** 1/2

Overall: Not a very good show. Gunns/Pg-13 was the best match. Not Reccomended.

Honestly, while I appreciate seeing new content and reviewers, I'm not digging this particular write-up. Now don't get upset and run off to never return again... we want ya' around and I wanna' see more stuff from ya'. But consider some Constructive Criticism from ES the Asshole:

While I don't think anyone should note every move of every match, there's not much reporting going on, here. The feeling I get is "I watched wrestling and here's who was on it". Unless I've seen these shows (and I haven't), I feel lost.

Give me something that would paint me a picture if I hadn't seen the match. If nothing else, just note the top sequences in the match and add some descriptions to the finishes. When I take notes on a match, if I'm getting just "clothesline. Reversal. irish whip. Punchie", I tend to omit that from any write-up. But "Bertha hits some good moves" and "HBK interview to finish the show" doesn't do it for me. What was "good" about her moves? What topics were covered in the interview? Even if it's just a basic "I am a nifty wrestler" promo, let us know. I'm feeling especially clueless on the Ahmed and Bob Backlund segment.

Nah, I understand and thankful for the Criticism. I'm kinda in a writers block in my review system. I have about 20 on my harddrive. Some are very detailed and some aren't. This one was really boring so I was trying out a different styles. The first review I did which is Clash of the champions 1, is very detalied and I basically do move for move what happened.

In other words, I'm trying different styles. This obviously didn't work and I know why.

Oh about the Ahmed segment, I think it was for his debut. He talked about Honor and respect. Backlund was just in the crowd talking to people about his Presidential campign. Nothing much. And the HBK promo was about his attack by the marines and In Your House appearance.
