Title: Ghost Hunters with CM Punk

So...anyone else stumble onto this? It ran live, ALL NIGHT (9pm-3am here) and featured CM Punk hanging out with a team of "experts" in Estes Park's Stanley Hotel. They just turned off the lights and had a buncha' people walking around with flashlights saying "oh, it feels cold here". Keeping with the wrestling connection, I wanted to shout "BORRR-RIING"

Obviously, I didn't watch all of it, but caught about 20 minutes around 11, then some more when I couldn't sleep around 1am. Of what I did see:

-CM Punk was trying way too hard to steal the camera. He'd make goofy faces, like Jim from "The Office" at the dumbest stuff. Sample conversation: "yeah, y'know..I have a fat friend from Samoa. He was telling me that they have ghost stories in Samoa and Hawaii, too. I've been to Hawaii". The guys he was with would say "yeah...it's interesting that each culture has their own ghost stories". Later on, Punk repeated a similar story, only swapping in "Japan". He slipped in some plugs for ECW, saying stuff like "we have VAMPIRES in ECW".

-The guys Punk was with were complete tools. One guy, trying to summon ghosts, yelled; "Can you make a loud noise for us?!! Do you need us to deliver a message for you?!" Smooth.

-Two other guys were below the Stanley's concert hall and heard....running water!! Others claimed to hear "voices", but the audio was drowned out by spooky background music, so the audience had no way to get in on the "find".

-Fans would send emails and text messages, alerting the "experts" of shadows they had seen on-screen. Several times, it was revealed that the shadows were caused by the cameramen. Scary!

-This show really ranks up there with Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone's "vault".

You're in luck, bunky! A "Best of" show airs tonight.

Peeked over at the forums on SciFi and it looks like it didn't go over too well with the show's fans. Most were " OMG, WTF. he is the most stupidest person to ever be on the show in the show's history" (sic)

This thread seemed to be the only one that cited specific reasons for slamming Punk:

It could have been worse. They could have recruited Taz. "hey, lemme tell ya'..there ain't nothing more scarier than this dark room and the dark things in it!"

I'm dissappointed. I wanted to see Casper get put in the anaconda vice.

Hehe...Looks like Punk is over huge with the Sci-Fi crowd.
