So start thinking about who you want to vote for and I'll probably start accepting ballots the day after Thanksgiving. For the sake of our sanity the official DWB wrestling year goes from December 1st to December 1st. So Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles from Turning Point last year is up for grabs on this.

I have Danielson/McGuinness, Danielson/Joe, and Danielson/KENTA all on the way yet and something tells me at least one or all of these will be included in one way or another. Danielson's '06 is rivaling Joe's '05 right now...

Yeah, i'd feel bad about picking my choices without having seen the matches RFS just mentioned, so I may have to scrounge up some funds to order them, or hope that DK gets some new titles in his collection :D

Who are some rookie this year? Are we going with rookies in their said promotion?

Example: CM Punk is a rookie in the WWE, but he's obviously been around for sometime.

I'd say we go with actual rookies, although I'm stumped too. Lashley and Davey Richards were rookies LAST YEAR, right?

Lashley debuted last fall on Smackdown, so technically he would have been last year's rookie. However, I think he'd be a good candidate for "most improved" this year.

I'll see if I can get a list of rookies.

I will tell you who gets my rookie vote though, Cody Runnels.

Yeah. I'm not sure if the guy I threw out was a rookie last year, or this year.

Rookie of the Year is actually really easy for me this year. Cody Runnels is the clear cut winner IMO.

Same here. There's not much to work with, so I went with Davey Richards. He's been around on the West Coast for at least a year before he came to ROH...

I went with Davey Richards too. He was around, but he didn't rise to prominence this year, just like Lashley was in OVW before Smackdown and he was our rookie last year.

So far there are 5 votes, soon to be 6 when I do my own input. So hopefully some of the other guys get their votes in during the next week or so. Probably around Christmas I'll start posting the results.
