Description: Spoiler, If Even Correct

According to Meltzer,

it's the return of Vince Russo to an on camera role and also as part of the booking committee, and not the return of Goldberg as many people have been speculating.

Sorry, I beat you to it :)

But now there are new reports saying that Russo isn't the surprise, and this is just coincidence. So who knows.

Plague plays a great Wade Keller to Rowe's Meltzer. I love it.

Yeah, I skipped over that thread, so I didn't even notice it was posted under the iMPACT thread.

From Dixie Carter's comments, it sounds like the "big announcement" would be something significant... like TNA getting a Monday night slot. Or some sort'a UFC cross-promotion. (I'm not into UFC at all, so that'd probably turn me off. Not that I've been watching Impact on a weekly basis...). I'm probably speculating too much and playing right in their hands by acknowledging this "big announcement".

But it'll probably be something like "TNA DVDs are now available at Borders!"

If Russo is the big announcement, I'm done.

Mad Dog - September 23, 2006 08:16 PM (GMT)
No, he's not. It just happened to be that came out with the big announcement.

dynamite kido - September 23, 2006 08:48 PM (GMT)
Real quick. Why would they even remotely think about bringing Russo back?

Big F'N Swigg - September 23, 2006 08:50 PM (GMT)
Apparently Jarrett thinks Russo is the only person in the world who can make storylines.

Ironic, as Cornette would be GREAT as a booker in TNA. With the young talent, and the other people helping the storylines be a bit edgier, I think he could make a HUGE difference.
