Title: WWE Hires A Bunch of People
Mad Dog - September 16, 2006 03:21 PM (GMT)
WWE signed Rodney Mack, Henry Godwinn and Marty Jannetty.
How many times have they hired Jannetty over the last year?

Henry Godwinn dumping a bucket of slop over The Miz will make great TV, i'll give it that

The Mack Militant is back? Seriously, he needs to be to Teddy Long what Tajiri was to Regal a few years back. And then kill people with Tiger Drivers.

You know something - I was up late with my brother discussing Unforgiven - and my "ideal" finish is Teddy Long fucking Cena over so he HAS TO join Smackdown - and that would be a pretty cool job for Rodney. And I imagine they'd put him on the SD Crew so he can hang with Jazz

They hired Marty Jannetty... AGAIN?!?!?
What the hell. This guy is the Steve Howe of professional wrestling. This has to be the 9th time he's been hired by WWE, and in a month, it'll be his 9th time fired.

Someone at TSM made a list of all the times that Jannetty has been fired and brought back. I believe the number of times was 7.
Count me in on the bandwagon of people who would love to see Theodore Long screw Cena at Unforgiven. It would freshen things up big time, especially with Long. It seems like his entire role on Smackdown is to just come out and make the predictable main event based on who is angry with who.

Dammit, after that last posted, I realized that Unforgiven was last night. I sure feel silly.

Who's been fired and brought back more, Jannetty or Goldust?
SamoaRowe - September 18, 2006 07:37 PM (GMT)
I think Jannetty still wins, but good point on Goldust.
Scrooge McSuck - September 20, 2006 01:24 PM (GMT)
Jannetty:
1. Hired in 1987, fired 2 days later.
2. Apparently fired in the Fall of '89 during a trip of Europe, rehired a few days later.
3. Fired following his "brush" with the law in February '92.
4. Fired after Royal Rumble '93
5. Fired before WrestleMania X
6. Fired sometime before Rumble '97
7. Fired after 1st coming back last year in July.
8. Fired this year after 2 appearences.
9. Now

We should change this thread's title to the "OAO you're HIRED" thread and pin it.
Having said that, guess what PWTorch just posted:

WWE has signed former ECW, WCW, and WWF star 2 Cold Scorpio to a three year deal, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The former ECW World Television and Tag Team champion had a tryout match a few weeks back in a dark match against Rene Dupree. King Booker had been pushing for Scorpio to be picked up by the company.
There's no word yet as to what brand Scorpio will be assigned to yet. In recent years, Scorpio had been a regular for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and was living out of Germany. I believe he is in the process (or just completed) moving to Florida, Scorpio had been working for a number of independent companies over the past summer, including IWA Mid-South and Pro Wrestling Unplugged. |

Everybody here comes scropio. I'm glad he's back. Rumor has it he's either going to ECW or Smackdown.

I'd love to see him join King Booker's Court.
