So I dug all of my issues out of one of my boxes and plan to read them over the weekend. I have only bits and pieces from most of the runs as the books were hard as hell to find in the 90s.

So did anyone else read the comics and what are your fond memories of it?

The first issue is of course classic. The Tick wanders around the city with a viewmaster to help him fight crime. He runs across some ninjas before diving and crashing through a flag pole and into the ground. Some of the ninjas follow suit with splatastic results. The Tick takes some crap from a local homeless guy and ends up in the diner where he threatens to suck the blood of one of the patrons with a straw. The Tick passes out from sucking through the straw too much and wakes up in a subway tunnel. A Superman parody tries to save him but the Tick is having none of it as he accuses him of being a cleverly disguised whale enzyme.

Overall: A

I had to fill in some gaps for this. Issue 2 is pretty good. The Tick gets himself a secret ID. He buys a tie basically. He ends up at the Daily Planet and drives the Superman parody crazy to the point where he beats up the Tick. The Tick escapes by knocking off his glasses and he freaks out because those are the key to his disguise. Pretty funny just for how the Tick was pissing everyone off.
