Other than including guys like Vito over guys like Jamie Noble, London, and Spanky, it doesn't look too bad. Finlay and fucking Umaga have me excited. Legends to be revealed soon, with rumors circulating that they could include Mr. Perfect and/or Rick Rude...
S.T. Strickler - September 5, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
Maybe THQ should include both of them.
Real F'n Show - September 5, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
Let's hope so. I'll assume Austin, Rock, Foley, Bret, and Hogan (hopefully only 1 this year) will also be returning as Legends, along with Eddie who is all but confirmed.
Weird not having Jericho in the game, even though he's been gone forever. I think this is the first one he's missed...
Real F'n Show - September 19, 2006 03:51 AM (GMT)
IGN's started the countdown for the game. They've done Big Show, Kane, Boogeyman, William Regal, Melina, and Chavo so far.
SamoaRowe - September 19, 2006 01:53 PM (GMT)
I'm more so surprised that London was left out, considering he was in the last one so it wouldn't have been hard to bring him back. I always felt that's why Lance Storm kept showing up, even when he had been all but buried.

Finally, a game that allows me to beat the everloving shit out of Jerry Lawler. My prayers have been answered.

Playing the demo on X-Box Live.
A few notes:
*Kane and Triple H are the only playable characters in the demo.
*I don't like the new grappling system that much (using the right joystick) but I'm sure it will grow on me. I guess you're suppose to be able to change to the "classic" controls so I guess it's no big deal.
*Blood this year looks awesome.
*Fighting in the crowd is great. All kinds of weapons laying around and there is a huge scaffold you can climb and jump onto your opponent (there are tables nearby you can set them on if you want). Sadly only one person can climb the scaffold at a time.
*The environment interactions are pretty sweet. They range from ramming your opponent's head into the announce table to throwing them into a giant speaker in the crowd and electrocuting them.
*They actually dismember the announce table this year. They take the top off and throw it, and then remove the little monitors as well. Not a big deal but I thought it was a nice touch.
*Playing as Triple H against my friend using Kane, he grappled me, put me in powerbomb position, lifted me, walked over to the ropes, and Awesomebombed me to the floor. He also did this with the chokeslam. These grapples are pretty sweet although Triple H only had the suplex one as far as I can tell. I could walk over to the ropes and suplex them stomach-first onto them, perform a front suplex, perform a regular suplex, and do the Davey Boy hold.
If you have any questions I'll try to answer the best I can.

The gameplay's growing on me a little, but I get the feeling that when I get bored with this one and go back to HCTP (which I always end up doing), I'll be screwed, controls wise. Fuckers, changing every game to incorporate analogs...
Big F'N Swigg - December 4, 2006 03:47 AM (GMT)
So I just figured out that apparently they didn't issue this for the XBox, just for the 360.
FUCK YOU WWE.
Real F'n Show - December 4, 2006 04:12 AM (GMT)
Man, online in this game is bullshit. Whooping someone's ass with Bruiser Brody only for them to leave the session AFTER you pin them, and then a screen comes up and says my record won't be saved. Fuck that.
