Title: Least faveourite Albums by your faveourite bands?

Let's try to get some discussion going here. What's your least faveourite album by your faveourite bands?
AFI's fist album, Answer That And Stay Fashionable just doesn't do much for me. I'm not a huge fan of the EBHC style, but I can tolerate it. They just did it so much better on Very Proud of Ya. The only songs I really listen to of this one are I Wanna Mowhawk and High School Football Hero...
VNV Nation- Matter+Form- Still Really Good, with some really good songs, but too much filler compared to their earlier stuff.
I'll post more when I think of a Cure Album that I like less than the others...

In America, we call these things least "favorites" :)
Iron Maiden -the X-Factor
Followed closely by "Dance of Death". Wow. I have never been as disappointed in my life as when I got this home and gave it a listen. It was so out of touch and just so...crappy. Not just the replacement vocalist, but the song structure was terrible. "Dance of Death" had a similar effect.
KISS- "Lick it Up"
The only KISS studio album I don't own. I even have and like"Music From the Elder". The title track is simplistic and awful. I can stomach "All Hell's Breakin' Loose", but then my 30 seconds are up. Hilarous how Paul Stanley tried to take credit for "being the first white band to rap in a rock song" in 2001's box set.
Tool- "10,000 Days"
Sorry, but the more I listen to this, the more disappointed and bored I get. "The Pot" and "Jambi" especially. Then a few songs of self-indulgent experimental noise. When "Rosetta Stone" finally checks in it's too little, too late. It's sad, but when I go to see them live next week, I don't want to hear alot of these songs. The dreaded "here's a song off our new album" curse might come into play.
Rush- "Power Windows"
Followed closely by "Vapor Trails". "Power Windows" gets the nod simply because the cover features a guy who looks like the third member of the Pet Shop Boys.
Anthrax- "Stomp 442"
The whole thing has a "tinny" sound to it. John Bush's vocals seem to be played up and it's incredibly annoying. I think of this album and I think of Bush stretching out pronunciation of every word. What you get when you don't have a regular guitarist.

I like British English, bite me.
I actually thought "The Pot" was one of the better tracks on 10,000 Days. I agree with you about it being weaker than Aenemia or Lateralus (the only other two Tool discs I own), though. Not enough actual songs.

..then wouldn't that be "Favourite"? When in doubt, always go with the amalgamation of BOTH the American and British versions! :)
My knock on "The Pot" is that I can see teenaged stoners getting off on the rather ordinary chorus of "you musta' been....HIIIGH". That's something I would've expected on "Undertow" or "Opiate".

I invent my own words.
And I can see that. The opening is fun as hell to sing, though.
