I'm only posting this here because we're a relatively small audience. This is a reason why you should NEVER reference a remote image in your signature, MySpace comments or forum posts:

In this case, some fantasy football guy was referencing a
direct link to an image on my site of Ed McCaffrey. Everytime ANYBODY viewed his profile on ESPN's fantasy site, it was sucking up MY bandwidth. On a popular site like ESPN, that can add up and shut down my website.
So, rather than simply remove the image, I fucked with the guy. Instead of a wonderful picture of his hero and fellatio dream Ed McCaffrey, he now has a picture that simply sez: "Douchebag!".
Never include a direct image link to a remote site. Copy the image and use a Photobucket account, or something similar. You never know when the person admin'ing that remote site will get pissed that you're leeching his bandwidth.
