Written by Geoff Johns. Huh.

Not to take a dump on your enthusiasm, but yer' about three years behind the curve there, bucko.

This was Johns' attempt to do a "more mature" story with Hank and Jan in "Avengers" vol 3. They shrink down and explore others' private regions. Ignited a mild controversy at the time.

Also in the same issue, Whirlwind renews his obsession of Jan and tries to "capture" her.

If you want some REALLY weird, messed-up comic stuff, check out Adventure Comics #459 from 1978. The Shark goes after Wonder Woman, for the sole purpose of making her his "mate". Then he chains her up and fondles her. The dialogue is very sexist and the stuff of fanboy wetdreams. It's strange that such a story got past the Comics Code Authority in 1978.

Also...I haven't read or seen it, but "Infinite Crisis Secret Files" supposedly has a scene with a nekkid Alex Luthor sneaking up on Superboy from behind. They share a warm embrace and more...

There's been several cringe worthy things since OYL in regards to sex. Nightwing has a moment per issue with that garbage. The Montoya/Batwoman stuff has been really bad in 52. It's the "witty banter" that always gets me with that garbage.

Also the Nightwing rape has to top the list.

Oh I know it's old - it's just really really messed up. And Funny.

And edited from the trade, IIRC

I usually do better without seeing comic book characters having sex. Even if the Wasp is involved.

Not sex, but this amorous Spidey daydream is funny:

Whooo hoo, that Diane Keaton is quite a hotty at age 60 or whatever she's at now.

Then again, only 10 years has passed in the Spider-man continuity, so he liked her at about 50 :P This is why comic book writers should try hard not to involve pop culture into stories where they try to drag five years of story across 250 issues.

You're like, a square, pussycat! Dontcha' wanna' be the swingingest daddy-o on your block?!

The Spidey panel was from 1982! After looking around, the best pictures I could find of Diane Keaton were from 1977's "Looking for Mr. Goodbar". If I squinted, I could maybe see a bit of a Sandra Bullock vibe to those pics..... but even then they didn't scream "hot chic". Guess we know who the writer had a crush on.

So Spider-Man is even nerdier than we originally thought?
