I'll first point out that I think it's fake. But, who would be NWO? Hogan and who else? For that matter, who'd join DX?
It's intriguing, but not in a good way?
prof_plague - July 26, 2006 07:26 PM (GMT)
Huh, it was a decade ago (plus a few months) that nWo first formed. It should be a four-way Survivor Series match while we're at it, and make the 4-Horsemen and the Freebirds reunite to determine the best faction is wrestling history.
No, no we shouldn't.
Big F'N Swigg - July 26, 2006 07:33 PM (GMT)
Well, if it is fake, then it's a really good fake.
Hey WWE, 1996 called. It wants to be left the fuck alone
whitemilesdavis - July 26, 2006 07:41 PM (GMT)
There seem to be some really good fakes for every major WWE PPV. Umm, I don't know. I'd still like to see how they make it happen. I'm guessing Vince will lead the NWO?
jamiegeist - July 26, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
It'd be fun to fantasy book, but yes, it is a fake. Fun idea though.
Triple H, HBK, Billy Gunn, & Road Dogg v Hogan, Hall, Nash, & Big Show
Then you get Waltman in there playing the "whose side am I on" card, and it would be fun.
Of course, it would completely destroy wrestling, but still, a fun little idea.
prof_plague - July 26, 2006 07:45 PM (GMT)
That's what I was thinking...but D-X didn't form until 1997.
I wonder if the new D-X is going to start out with Hogan and Orton. Orton gets the last hit on Hogan, winning the feud; Hogan decides he needs to pass the torch - picks Orton, joins him, turns heel, and re-start the nWo.
jamiegeist - July 26, 2006 07:45 PM (GMT)
There is no NWO. It is fake.

That's what special guest referees are for.

Just saying that would be good build-up for the fantasy feud if it were to happen.

You can't have Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and Nash. They belong to TNA. Who you gonna replace them with?
jamiegeist - July 26, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)
That's why it is fantasy. It can't be done. I wouldn't replace them with anyone, and wouldn't even consider doing it, fantasy or reality.
whitemilesdavis - July 26, 2006 07:57 PM (GMT)
Well then, you're no fun.
Real F'n Show - July 26, 2006 11:40 PM (GMT)
This deserves a DubyaTeeEff for sure. WWE is retarded. Let me live with my nostalgia, don't try and ruin it. This really is fucking 1996. ECW? DX? nWo? What's next, pushes for Shawn Michaels and The Giant? Wait...
prof_plague - July 27, 2006 06:43 AM (GMT)
1996 was the depush of HHH, and the return of Jake Roberts and the Ultimate Warrior.
Hm...
Big F'N Swigg - July 27, 2006 06:13 PM (GMT)
You know, this could be a logical way to bring back Bischoff.
SamoaRowe - August 2, 2006 08:37 PM (GMT)
I doubt Bischoff will ever be back on WWE tv, but you're right, it would be logical.
Outside of Hogan, I can't honestly think of who might consist of the nWo team. Waltman is unlikely due to his interest in Wrestling Society X, Nash is in TNA, Hall is a drunken buffoon, Show is playing the ECW champion (though he might still drop in), and the other former nWo guys are either retired, not ring ready, or working for TNA.
jamiegeist - August 2, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
According to reports, Bischoff's contract came up last week, and he now has no ties to the WWE.
SamoaRowe - August 2, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
As much as I miss seeing Bischoff embarassed on a weekly basis on live television, good for him.
