NEW Saturday Night
August 5th 2006

QUOTE

Eric Bischoff comes out to the ring for an interview. He states that he has some big news regarding Summerslam. First off, the crowning of the first ever Boston Harbor Champion will take place at Summerslam, in a fatal four way elimination match! To determine the participants, next week on Saturday Night there will be four qualifying matches. The winners will compete at Summerslam to become the champion! Secondly, Bischoff has schemed up a main event deserving of Summerslam glory. The main event will NEW Champion Chris Jericho vs. NWA World Champion The Rock, in a winner takes all champion vs. champion match! But enough about Summerslam, tonight’s main event will be The Rock vs. Sonny Siaki in a non-title match. (86%)

Carlito, making his NEW debut, beat Ron Killings at 8:01 when Rene Dupree ran in and interfered. Carlito was in full blown heel mode, and put on a really good match with Killings. The commentator’s speculated that all three of these men could be competing for the Boston Harbor Championship at Summerslam. (83/78/88)

Mick Foley comes out to the ring for an interview. Foley says that this rivalry with Flair was fun at first, but now it has developed into a deep hatred. Foley says it was fun wrestling Flair in the Wrestlecrap match at River Rumble and that Foley was even having fun with their submission match at 32 Flavors of Pain, until Dreamer got involved. Foley says that he competed with Flair under Flair’s conditions, and now he wants to see if Flair is man enough to compete with Foley under his own. Foley wants Flair, at Summerslam, in a HELL IN A CELL match. Foley waits for an answer, but one doesn’t come up. Instead, Tommy Dreamer comes out on the stage and takes a microphone. Dreamer tells Foley that Flair is going to have to take a rain check on that match, because last night Flair admitted himself into rehab to take care of some personal demons. Dreamer says he would be more than happy to be Flair’s substitute in the match at Summerslam, promising that the “Innovator of Violence will erase your hardcore legacy.” So it’s official, it will be Mick Foley vs. Tommy Dreamer in a Hell in a Cell match at Summerslam! (96%)

NEW Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted beat Shark Boy and Sonjay Dutt in a non-title match at 6:56! Shark Boy and Sonjay got some good offense in the match, as the idea is to build up a strong roster. AMW won with the death sentence on Shark Boy. After the match, D’Lo Brown and Tajiri ran in to try and gain revenge for what happened last week. The underdog challengers chased the champs out of the ring. On a side note, it is official, America’s Most Wanted will defend their titles against Tajiri and Brown at Summerslam! (78/68/88)

Backstage, “Dapper” Dave Choate has a sit-down interview with Rob Van Dam. Choate asks RVD why he has aligned himself with Eric Bischoff and why he participated in beating down Team 3D last week. RVD says that the truth is, he hates ECW as much as Bischoff does. RVD says that the only reason why he pretended to be pro-ECW all of these years is simply because it made him money and it made his merchandise sell. RVD says it backfired on him and now he’s been typecast as an ECW guy for his entire career. RVD says that he’s sick of hearing “ECW” chants during his matches, he’s sick of fans cheering for him simply because of a company that hasn’t existed in over five years. RVD says he has come to NEW to erase that shameful part of his career and that for now on fans will chant “NEW” wherever he goes. (76%)

Kid Kash, making his NEW debut, beat James Gibson at 7:45 when he pinned Gibson with his feet on the ropes. It was a highly competitive match up, though the crowd didn’t really get into it until the last minute or so. After the match, Gibson threw a temper tantrum and continued to attack Kid Kash. They brawled all the way up the entrance ramp and into the backstage area. (79/72/87)

JBL cut a promo in the ring, continuing his smear campaign of anyone outside of NEW. He says he feels threatened tonight by the arrivals of Carlito and Kid Kash, but at least they are respectable competitors and will honor their NEW contracts. He then continues to trash Chris Sabin and Johnny Devine, which brings Sabin out on the stage. Sabin angrily cuts a promo about how JBL has no reason to hate him. Sabin says he was in CSW for less than a month and that he has been an official NEW star for over two months. As far as Sabin is concerned, he is as much a part of NEW as JBL is. JBL scoffs at this remark. JBL says that John Cena challenged him for a rematch at Summerslam, but JBL says he has kicked Cena’s ass enough for this month. Sabin tells JBL that Cena will participate at Summerslam, but it won’t be a singles encounter. No, it will be JBL and Trevor Murdoch against John Cena and Chris Sabin! JBL is outraged by this and throws a fit. (91%)

Sonny Siaki beat NWA World Champion The Rock in a non-title match at 14:23 when Chris Jericho interfered. Jericho was on commentary throughout the match, whining about how he becomes NEW Champion, but there was still a glass ceiling above him. “I win the NEW title, yet I’m not even allowed to main event 32 Flavors of Pain! That’s a load of horses(bleep)t if you ask me!” Jericho eventually gets angry when Rock has Siaki beat and is going for the People’s Elbow. Jericho hops up on the apron and nails Rock with the NEW title. Rock is in a daze and Siaki rolls him up for the victory. After the match, Rhino runs in to protect Rock from any further attacks, so it becomes apparent that Rock and Rhino will face Jericho and Siaki next week. (87/91/79)

Sweet, Siaki pinned Rock.

I really like the RVD interview, and all valid awesome points that give him a direction.

JBL continuing his xenophobia is fun, but the tag match feels a little blah. I still don't buy Murdoch up their with him for any reason, and it should really be Cena v JBL.

Kash v Gibson....CSW Jobbers erupt!!! Good debut for Kash.

I really like Dreamer taking the place of Flair. Dreamer-Foley will be just as good, and actually leaves room for some upward growth, since Dreamer isnt (as) old like Flair and Foley both are.

Bischoff making the match at Summerslam a NEW Title v NWA Title, Jericho v Rock winner take all match is really awesome. It gives your show a bigtime feel, makes me interested, as I can't figure out what the finish could be, and definitely has me roped in for the next month. Job well done, Rowe-man.

NWA Central States Wrestling presents....
CSW Cyclone Saturday Night

August 5, 2006
Announcers: Joey Styles & Tazz
Kansas City, MO

Still shots from last week’s Mega-Event, CSW Insurgency, are shown on the screen as blurbs from the announcers are played in the background. It runs down the entire card, with alot of emphasis on the pictures from the Corino-Lesnar bloodbath. The image series ends with Samoa Joe pinning Triple H for the win in the main event.

Styles: Ladies and Gentlemen, we are only 6 days removed from Cyclone, and the reverberations are still being felt from that HUGE night. The backstage area is like an Intensive Care Unit, with tons of people either injured or not even in the arena due to their injuries at Insurgency. Before we tell you who WILL be in action, let us give you the injury report. Brock Lesnar won’t be wrestling tonight, because of a concussion and huge laceration on his head. Steve Corino is out of action due to severe blood loss at Insurgency. Alex Shelley’s knee injury will keep him out of action, although the details are still sketchy on what exactly is wrong with that knee. And finally, Ken Shamrock will reported miss a few weeks with a seperated shoulder, after the attack he suffered at the hands of former protege, Brent Albright. But, let’s tell you what we will have. A HUGE Cyclone Spotlight opener has been signed, with Generation Next’s Roderick Strong challenging the current spotlight holder, Low Ki. The Natural Born Thrillers have reportedly issued an open challenge for their CSW Tag Team Titles to any team, continuing their streak as the fightingest champions in CSW. Austin Aries is scheduled to go one on one with X-pac, perhaps to finally end the DX-GenNext war. We’ll also have Samoa Joe, Petey Williams, and New Jack, all in action. But let’s go ahead and get it started with that Cyclone Spotlight Matchup!

Cyclone Spotlight: Low Ki v Roderick Strong
Ki gets a negative reaction as he gets into the ring. He doesn’t seem to mind, as he anxiously awaits to arrival of Roderick Strong. Another GREAT match in the Cyclone Spotlight, as has begun to be the norm. Both men are at the top of their game, countering and blocking each other’s every move. Strong takes control for a brief moment with a series of chops, but Ki blocks one, and nails a hard kick for a near fall in the middle of the match. The Finish: After controlling for a period of time, Ki places Strong on the top rope. He follows him up, and is going to attempt a Ki Krusher from the top. But Strong blocks, and peppers Ki with a series of chops. He puts Ki on his shoulders, and is gonna try the gutbuster from the top. Wait! Here comes X-pac running down the aisle. He jumps up to the apron, and shoves Strong off the top and to the outside, sending both Strong and Ki tumbling to the floor in a heap. The referee calls for the bell.

No Contest: Double Disqualification in 12:14. (82/70/95)
Post-Match: X-pac heads to the top rope and looks down on Strong and Ki, who are climbing to their feet. He leaps off, and Ki steps out of the way, as X-pac crashes onto Roderick Strong. Ki looks like he is about to retaliate on X-pac’s interference, but instead just walks away, perhaps making the choice not to involve himself in the DX-GenNext war. X-pac rolls Strong into the ring and continues the assault, but Austin Aries makes the save. He pounds X-pac into the corner, and then whips him across the ring. He charges and nearly takes his head off with a leaping knee into the corner.

Styles: Well, we were curious if the war was over between Generation Next and Degeneration X, and I guess we have our answer now. X-pac and Aries were scheduled to go one on one later tonight, but I guess they’ve decided not to wait – and wait, I’m getting official word from the back that a referee is on the way, and this match is going to happen right now instead of later tonight. There’s the bell!

Austin Aries v X-pac
Aries and X-pac pay almost no attention to the official as he rushes into the ring. Aries continues the assault, dropping X-pac with a hiptoss and hitting the ropes before dropping a knee over the face of X-pac. The ref gets to a 2 count before X-pac kicks out. The match is picking up steam and going strong, but before it even gets going, DX rears it’s ugly head again. Billy Gunn & Road Dogg come running down into the ring as Aries grabs X-pac for the Brainbuster. They slide into the ring and begin dropping Aries with forearms to the back. The referee calls for the bell.

Austin Aries defeats X-pac by disqualification in 5:43. (81/73/89)
Post-Match: The Outlaws hold Aries as X-pac unloads with stiff shots to the face, ending with a spinning heel kick that finds its mark. Roderick Strong was still outside the ring from the earlier attack, and slides in, beating off all 3 members of DX long enough to give Aries a chance to regroup. Officials fill the ring as the fight continues, and Joey Styles tells us that Alex Shelley is indeed not at the arena tonight due to his injured knee. The officials seperate the groups after a long pull apart brawl, and Generation Next heads to the back, upset that they both ended their matches in such a manner.

Tazz: Joey, you said before that you weren’t sure if the war was over. I think it is safe to say that it is going as strong as ever. DX destroys two very good matches to start of Cyclone, and I get the feeling that they might not be done. Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-pac aren’t a group of guys who take very well to losing. For that matter, neither is Triple H. DX is in a foul mood tonight.

In-Ring Segment: The Chase is On!
With order restored at ringside, Jeremy Borash steps into the ring with a microphone.

Borash: Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time, please welcome the man who this past Sunday became the #1 Contender to the CSW Championship...Brock Lesnar!

Lesnar makes his way out to a rousing reception, and has a bandage over his head once again. Noticeably smaller than the one at Insurgency, it is still in the same place on his forehead. Lesnar jumps onto the apron and approaches Borash.

Borash: Brock Lesnar, before we get to the future, let me ask you about the past. Over the last 2 months, you were in a vicious war with the “King of Old School” Steve Corino, culminating 6 days ago in a brutal First Blood Match that many are calling an early Match of The Year Candidate. Can you tell us how you feel physically after that tremendous match?

Lesnar: Well Jeremy, physically I would say I am definitely less than 100 percent right now. I lost a fair amount of blood in a two day period, and also suffered a mild concussion when Corino cracked me over the head with the ring bell. With that said, I certainly won’t let it deter me from moving forward to new business.

Borash: And speaking of that new business. You are now the #1 Contender to the CSW Championship, currently held by Triple H. Tell us your thoughts on that, if you would.

Lesnar: My thoughts are simple Borash. I got back into wrestling for one reason, and that is to the best. I’m not proud of the way I left wrestling the first time, and I never plan on that happening again. I was in a place where motivation wasn’t exactly flowing out of body, and going to work wasn’t very fun anymore. Now I’m in a place where they WRESTLE, and not only do we wrestle, but the level of competition is like nowhere else in the U.S. or the World. And quite frankly, and I’m sure alot of people in this arena agree with my thoughts on this: I can’t wait to get into the ring with Triple H, and show him just what Brock Lesnar is really all about.

Borash: And I was told you had a bit of a challenge to make here tonight, if I’m not mistaken?

Lesnar: That’s right. Triple H, right now I’m officially challenging you for the CSW Championship. And what better place than August 27th, at Art of War, the very first Pay Per View in CSW’s young history. Now I know DX has had a busy night tonight, and I’m not the kind of guy to get overlooked, so I’ll wait right here, right now, for your response, Triple H.

Lesnar shoves the mic down and leans on the top rope, looking towards the curtain. His next reaction is priceless, as instead of Triple H, he hears the music of SAMOA JOE. Joe walks out and slides into the ring with a purpose. He and Lesnar have a brief staredown before Borash carefully lifts the microphone up to Joe’s mouth.

Samoa Joe: Lesnar...I respect you. We both have one hell of a track record so far here in CSW, but in case you weren’t watching on Sunday Night, I pinned the CSW Champion Triple H right in the middle of this ring. And I’M challenging him to a title shot at Art of –

Before Joe can finish, the music of Triple H kicks on, and he walks out onto the stage with a smile on his face. Lesnar sits down on the middle rope, opening it for Triple H, asking him to come to the ring and clear up the confusion. Triple H gets about halfway down the entranceway, and stops, before adjusting his CSW Championship on his shoulder.

Triple H: Yeah, I bet you two monsters would love for me to come into that ring right now, wouldn’t you. First off, let me clear something up. Samoa Joe. I know you aren’t a big “student of the game”, and don’t really do much homework, but why don’t you borrow the Insurgency DVD from one of these idiots in the audience. Because what you’ll see if you rewatch the main event is that I wasn’t even the legal man when that match ended. So as far as I’m concerned, you’re little “clean win” never even happened. (Boos). And as for you Brock Lesnar? I’m not sure where anyone in the CSW gets off on making you #1 Contender. What have you done? You pounded an Old School Goon around arenas for the last 2 months, and made him bleed alot. Do you know how many people have made Steve Corino bleed alot? As far as I’m concerned, neither one of you chumps is in my league, and neither one of you is getting a shot at this CSW Championship. I’m got 30 days between defenses, and I’m damn sure gonna take my remaining 16 days before I put this up for grabs again.

Triple H begins to lull the two to sleep with his ongoing diatribe, but they’re quickly awakened as Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-pac slide into the ring behind Joe and Lesnar. They start pounding on them as Triple H looks on. Joe and Lesnar quickly get the upper hand though, launching both Outlaws over the top rope to Triple H’s feet, and then double teaming X-pac, and launching him onto the Outlaws at ringside. Triple H begins talking again, but is quickly cut off –

Voice: Excuse me. EXCUSE ME! In the words of my late brother, “Enough is enough, and its time for a change.”

The crowd pops huge as the Large Video Screen fills with President Bret Hart’s image.

Hart: I’m pretty sure everyone in this arena is sick and tired of seeing Degeneration X interfere in every single match, and every single segment. (big pop). Well I’m tired of it too. And as of this very moment, I’m doing something about it. Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-pac. Effective immediately, you are all suspended for 2 weeks. (crowd pops HUGE)

The 3 members of DX throw a huge fit as 10 or 12 security guys come wandering out into the aisle. They escort them all to the back, as Triple H is left standing in the aisle alone, staring at the video screen.

Hart: And Triple H, don’t think I forgot about you. Don’t worry, I’m not going to suspend you. (boos). That hardly seems fair, suspending the CSW Champion. Hell, you would probably want that. Instead, next week on Cyclone, you are going to defend your CSW Championship in the biggest match in the history of CSW Cyclone Saturday Night.

Triple H is practically frothing at the mouth as he stares as Hart on the screen. Joe and Lesnar are suddenly all ears.

Hart: Now, both guys in the ring have a legitimate claim for their right to wrestle for the CSW Champion, so next week, both of them out going to get that opportunity. But don’t worry Triple H, I’m not going to make a Triple Threat match. I’ll give you a fighting chance against the two guy you accurately describe as “monsters” just a few minutes ago. Because next week’s Main Event will be an unprecedented Tag Team Match with the CSW Championship on the line. It will be Samoa Joe & Brock Lesnar against Triple H and a partner of his choosing that is not currently suspended from CSW. I say both Joe and Lesnar will get a shot at the title, because the man who makes the pinfall will be the CSW Champion. (HUGE pop from the crowd). Now enjoy your evening, gentlemen.

Triple H hangs his head, silently thinking to himself as he slowly walks up the aisle, not even looking at the 2 competitors in the ring. Meanwhile, in the ring, both men are staring at each other, trying to get a read on what the other is thinking. Lesnar cautiously exits the ring first, and Joe follows shortly after. The crowd is rabid.

(77)

Styles: OH MY GOD! What a main event we have next week on Cyclone. Samoa Joe & Brock Lesnar v Triple H and a partner of his choosing, and the man who makes the pinfall, assuming it isn’t Triple H, will be the new CSW Champion? I’d say President Hart’s fuse just got a little shorter, and I’m liking it.

Hardcore Match: New Jack v Maven
Maven makes his way to the ring first to a suprisingly large pop from the crowd. New Jack comes out next with a trash can full of weaponry once again. He slides it into the ring and grabs the microphone.

New Jack: You know, last week –

Before New Jack can get anything out, Maven attacks him from behind, starting the match. Maven bombards New Jack with anything he can get his hands on, and gets a quick near fall. New Jack waits for one mistake, and Maven makes it, as New Jack nails a low blow. New Jack sorts through the plunder in his garbage can, discarding a glass pitcher, a fully intact lamp, and a cowboy boot, instead settling for a steel chain. He wraps the chain up around his hand, and cold cocks Maven right in the mouth. Out of nowhere. ENTER SANDMAN begins playing throughout the arena. The familiar guitar riff builds slowly and then the crowd ERUPTS as the Sandman appears in the crowd with his Singapore Cane in one hand, and a beer in the other. He makes his way through the crowd, with them singing the words of the song right along with him. New Jack intently watches him as he gets closer to the ring. Sandman gets all the way to the barricade, and cracks a beer right in New Jack’s direction, chugging it down as he points the cane at New Jack. Out of nowhere, Maven destroys the lamp right over New Jack’s head. The music stops, as he covers New Jack. 1...2...3! Maven wins!

Maven defeats New Jack by pinfall in 5:32. (73/77/66)
Post-Match: Maven rolls out of the ring and celebrates, walking right by the Sandman. Sandman cracks a beer and pours it down into Maven’s mouth, standing below him. Sandman turns and exits the same way he came, through the crowd.

Tazz: Well, we now know that the Sandman is indeed here in CSW. I have a feeling New Jack won’t be too happy about the result of that hardcore match when he comes to.

Video Segment: Looking for Answers
Styles: Let’s take a look now at my interview from earlier in the day with Brent Albright. I sat down with Albright in an attempt to get some answers as to why he viciously attacked Ken Shamrock at Insurgency. Roll the tape guys.

A video from earlier in the day rolls with Joey Styles and Brent Albright seated in two comfy loveseats with a quiet backdrop behind them. It looks like it was filmed in a studio.

Styles: I’m joined here this afternoon by Brent Albright, the man who this past weekend at Insurgency lost in his bid for the CSW Tag Team Titles, and then brutally attacked his partner Ken Shamrock, separating his shoulder. Brent, can I start by just asking “why”?

Albright says nothing, and then quietly finally replies.

Albright: No Comment

Styles: Alright, well can you at least tell us what is next for Brent Albright in CSW? Will you continue to work for the CSW Tag Team Titles?

Again, Albright gives a long pause, and finally speaks up.

Albright: No Comment

Styles: Stunning interview here. So would you mind telling us what you call that new finisher that you used to knock Ken Shamrock out?

Albright shoots a look at Styles, picking up on his unwanted sarcasm.

Albright: No Comment

Styles: Okay, honestly. You agreed to come down here to the studio, you agreed to talk to us, and you put on the microphone. Just to say no comment?

Albright looks perturbed, and leans forward at Styles, who backs up as far as he can in his chair.

Albright: You want a comment? Too bad. I do my talking in the ring. And just like I did as Insurgency, I’ll continue to do all my talking in the ring. In fact, how bout I issue a challenge. Anyone who has a problem with what I did to my “mentor” Ken Shamrock, feel free to meet me one on one in the ring next week on Cyclone, and you’ll get all the answers you need. Interview, over.

Albright rips off his microphone and walks out of the room as Styles catches his breath and mutters something to the cameraman.

Petey Williams v Chance Beckett
Petey heads to the ring with his two prizes alongside him: Trish Stratus, and in her hands, the Kansas City Border Championship. Already in the ring is Petey’s opponent, Chance Beckett, who the announcers put over as making his debut on Cyclone. They tell us that Beckett is a 24 year old Canadian, that was trained in the Dungeon in Calgary. Petey Williams looks across the ring, and is less than impressed. He asks for a microphone.

Petey: Excuse me, but who the hell are you?

Petey nonchalantly holds the microphone out, as Beckett steps up to it.

Beckett: My name is Chance Beckett.

Petey: Chance Beckett huh? And you’re Canadian is I remember correctly? What a disgrace to my great country. How much do you weigh kid? About 150, soaking wet?

Beckett: 206 actually.

Petey: Really? Wow, I’m impressed. Well listen, “Chance”. I’m gonna be a nice guy tonight, and give you a “chance” at the KC Border Championship. I’ve been looking for a good challenge lately, and sure as hell haven’t been getting much of one around here. So I’ll break you in nice here, and pop your CSW cherry with a title match. How’s that sound?

Petey holds the microphone out, but before Chance can respond, Petey kicks him in the stomach and gets the match underway. It looks like a squash, but then Chance nails a cross body block out of nowhere for a 2 count. Petey looks shocked, but suddenly finds himself out of the driver’s seats as Chance nails a series of armdrags and hits a small package for a near fall. The match continues, and Chance brings the goods, as he and Petey actually have one hell of a match. The Finish: Petey is suddenly regretting putting his title on the line. Chance nails an Ocean Cyclone Bulldog, and then crabs Petey in a crossface chicken wing. Trish jumps up on the apron, dsitracting the referee. Petey gets some momentum and bounces them both off the ropes, and Chance lets go, pushing towards the ref. The referee moves, and Petey runs right into Trish. He bounces back towards Chance, who nails a german suplex with a bridge. 1...2....KICKOUT! Chance stays on him, nailing a step up enziguri, dropping Petey in the middle of the ring. Chance goes to the corner, and looks out to the crowd. He jumps to the middle rope, and then springs to the top, trying the Best Moonsault Ever. Perfect form, but Petey gets the knees up, and Chance is in pain. Petey jumps to his feet, grabs Chance, and nails the Canadian Destroyer for the win!

Petey Williams defeats Chance Beckett by pinfall in 9:41. (77/58/97)
Post-match: Petey picks up Chance and grabs him by the hair, talking trash and he lifts him and grabs him for another destroyer. He nails it, and then grabs his legs, looking for a Sharpshooter. As Petey starts to turn it over, the crowd explodes. Masato Tanaka is on his way to the ring, and Petey drops the hold and runs out of the ring as Tanaka slides in. Petey grabs the microphone from the ring apron and talks, breathing heavily.

Petey: Oh good lord, look who it is. The CSW Savior. Mr. Respect. What Tanaka, you didn’t like what I was doing in the ring? It is called wrestling, and I WIN when I do it, hence the fact that I am the KC Border Champion. Listen old man, you don’t want any of this. I’m not gonna learn respect by beating the hell out of you like that idiot Samoa Joe did. You’ll be the one learning a lesson, in humility, if you get in the ring with me. So Tanaka, stay out of my affairs, or someone might get hurt

Just as Petey says that, Trish sneaks back into the ring from her fallen position at ringside. She crawls behind Tanaka, and nails him with an uppercut to the balls, dropping him in the ring. Trish exits the ring and joins Petey as they walk up the entranceway, and kiss at the top.

Styles: Well, Petey Williams retains the KC Border Title, but what a debut by Chance Beckett. This kid looks like a star. The bigger news is the sudden return of Masato Tanaka, who didn’t appear to like what was going on in the ring after the match. And now he is the one down, so maybe Petey is right.

Backstage Segment: Grab your Partner
Jeremy Borash is following Triple H through the backstage area with a camera crew in hand. Triple H looks intense, and still looks pissed off from the earlier suspension of the rest of Degeneration X.

Borash: Triple H. With Degeneration X suspended for the next two weeks, do you have any idea of who could be your tag team partner in your biggest match to date in CSW?

Triple H: Shut up Borash.

Triple H walks away, but the camera crew follows. Triple H stops at a door marked STEVE CORINO. He knocks on the door, but there is no answer. He waits a bit, knocks again, and just decides to open it up. Mr. Brown is quickly moving a chair into the middle of the locker room, and we see Monster C come walking out of the shower area, just pulling his mask down over a tuft of blondish-brown goatee hair. Corino is no where to be seen.

Triple H: Uhhhh, hey fellas. What took so long?

Mr. Brown: None of your damn business. Now can we help you?

Triple H: Actually, I was looking for the boss. Where’s Corino at?

Mr. Brown: Actually, he isn’t here. He couldn’t make it to the arena tonight. He’s been in and out of the hospital all week. Turns out he lost alot more blood than we thought on Sunday, and has been having some dizzy spells.

Triple H: Well great. You have anyway I can get ahold of him?

Mr. Brown: Here you go. I’ll call him on the cell.

Brown dials the phone and hands it to Triple H as Monster C sits down in the chair in the middle of the locker room. Brown stands up behind him as Triple H starts to walk out of the room with the phone.

Mr. Brown: Uh-uh. You stay right here where I can see you.

Triple H rolls his eyes, and paces in the locker room. Brown starts massaging Monster C’s shoulders, as Triple H appears to have a pick up on the other end.

Triple H: Hey Steve.....yeah, whats up..........oh you knew I’d call huh?.....yeah, Hart flexing his muscle again, you know..........well yeah, I’d like to go ahead and officially ask you if you would...........yeah I figure you know Lesnar better than anyone, right?..........yeah, I know you have a posse too.......um, yeah they’re right here.......well, the black one is rubbing down the masked one, I really don’t know........oh really?.......interesting........alright man, I’ll see you next week......big match.....bye.

Triple H closes the flip phone and hands it to Brown, who put it back in his suitjacket pocket.

Triple H: So uh, muscles. Does this one speak english or what?

Mr. Brown: He actually doesn’t speak much of anything, but go ahead.

Triple H talks to Monster C as if he were a child, or a retard.

Triple H: Toniiiiight. Youuuu. Versus Samoa Joe? Yeah?

Triple H makes gestures with his words, and Monster C respond by slowly nodding his head up and down.

Triple H: Alrighty then, let’s talk

Triple H reaches back and slams the door shut, knocking the cameraman down. His camera points up at the door, just reading STEVE CORINO as the shot cuts off.

Tazz: Corino is going to be Triple H's partner next week? And tonight we're gonna get the in ring debut of Monster C, going one on one with Samoa Joe? I gotta say, I like his chances, with a guy like Triple H in there giving him pointers right now.

Open Challenge: CSW Tag Team Title Match:
Natural Born Thrillers © v ??????

The Natural Born Thrillers head to the ring in their wrestling gear, and anxiously wait to see who has answered their open challenge for a shot at the CSW Tag Team Titles. They don’t have to wait long, as the music of “The World’s Greatest Tag Team” fills the arena, and the crowd explodes. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas make their way down to the ring in their gear, and slide under the ropes, ready to take it to them. They’re cut off by Sean O’Haire.

O’Haire: Woah woah woah. There must be some kind of confusion here. We had an open challenge for our CSW Tag Team Titles, to ANY tag team in Central States Wrestling. We didn’t say anything about facing two washed up singles stars that decided to get back together to rekindle their little flame.

Benjamin and Haas look at each other, not believing what they’re hearing, as the crowd boos loudly.

Jindrak: Sorry boys. We’re done with the handouts here. We faced two teams of washed up singles stars recently, and look what happened, we’re still holding these belts. We’re looking for a real challenge, from a real tag team, that has actually wrestled in some tag team matches. So, if there are any REAL tag team back there, please –

Out of nowhere, old but familiar music fills the arena. OHHHHHHHH WHAT A RUSH!!!!! Jindrak and O’Haire’s mouths drop open as Benjamin and Haas incredulously turn to look at the entranceway. Just as they turn their heads, Jindrak and O’Haire get the jump on them, blindsiding them both with the CSW Tag Team Titles. They pound them down, and Jindrak hits the Widow’s Peak Neckbreaker on Haas while O’Haire plows Benjamin over with the Shining Wizard. O’Haire grabs the mic.

O’Haire: Let that be a lesson to everyone in the back, and especially to these two chumps lying in the ring. No more free handouts. No more free title shots, and nore more open challenges. These are THE most prestigious titles in CSW, and from now on, if you want a shot....you better earn it.

O’Haire drops the mic as he and his tag team partner head to the back. Referees check on the WGTT left lying in the ring.

Main Event: Samoa Joe v Monster C
Samoa Joe makes his way out first to a huge pop, and is followed shortly after by Monster C, accompanied by Mr. Brown. Monster C and Joe lock up in the center of the ring, with Joe using his strength advantage to take control. Monster C is serviceable to downright good in the ring, and the announcers fill us in on his stats. Styles says they have him listed at about 6 foot 3 inches and 260 pounds. A nice back and forth match, with Monster C getting his fair share of offense. Monster C nails a nice floatover Russian Legsweep for a 2 count on Joe. Joe returns the favor, taking over with a flurry of punches and chops in the corner. Joe tries a irish whip, but C reverses, sending Joe into the buckle. C charges, but Joe catches him around the neck, and drops him hard with the S-T-Joe. The Finish: Brown grabs ahold of Joe’s leg on a whip attempt, and Joe reaches through the ropes, grabbing him around the collar of his jacket. The referee steps onto the apron, trying to get Joe to let go. Monster C comes over and is trying to pry Joe off as well. Joe lets go, and backs into the ring, but Monster C now is tying the ref up on the apron, trying to tell him something about Mr. Brown’s jacket. Joe turns around in the ring, and is immediately greeted by Triple H, who kicks him in the stomach, and drops him with a Pedigree. Triple H bails out, ducking down by the ring apron. Monster C lets go of the ref, turns around, and makes the cover, hooking the leg. 1...2...3! Monster C wins!

Monster C defeats Samoa Joe by pinfall in 10:02. (83/77/90)
Post-Match: Triple H quickly slides back into the ring, as does Monster C and Mr. Brown. They put the boots to Samoa Joe, with Triple H calling the shots. Suddenly, Brock Lesnar comes running down the aisle. Monster C dives over the rope, knowing first hand what Lesnar is capable of. Lesnar goes toe to toe with Mr. Brown before clotheslining him over the top rope. Joe rebounds and nails Triple H with a hard shot and then locks on the Kokina Clutch. Triple H quickly grabs the ropes and dives in between the 2nd and 3rd ropes, bailing to the floor out of Joe’s grasp. Joe and Lesnar slowly back up and bump into each other, turning to attack, but realizing who it is. Instead they just stare down, nose to nose, as Monster C & Mr. Brown retreat up the aisle with Monster C holding his hand in the air. Triple H stays at ringside, staring at the two men in the ring as they staredown.

Styles: Monster C defeats Joe, and things are really getting heated around the CSW Championship. Don’t forget to join us next week! Joe & Lesnar v Triple H and Steve Corino from the sounds of things. Joe and Lesnar are fixated on each other in the middle of the ring, and we very well could be looking at the next CSW Champion right there in that very ring.
