Title: It's solicitation time!
Description: What are you buying?......In Ocober?

Or November, as is the case with DC's fucked up trade solicitation policy. I'll edit the post for Marvel Solicits, and a more generalised posting with indie publishers you may be interested in.

Newsarama presents DC in October

Marv Wolfram on Nightwing? Pretty definite answer to the critics of this book, myself included.

And right underneath they show the problem.

Anyway, I'll be buying
-Gotham Central: The Quick And The Dead TP, which doesn't come out until November

-Superman/Batman Annual. Cory Walker? SWEET!

-52, if I make it that far

-Justice League Of America and Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters...If I like the first issue

-The Authority. It's a bi-monthly book, so It gives me a while to decide wether or not to trade wait

-Ex Machina, March to War tp

-Maybe the Special edition of Sandman 1. I've the first two trades of the Sandman beside my bed for about a year, and I've never read them

-Definitely check out The Fountain, but I'd prefer if the FUCKING MOVIE came out

-Y The Last Man Kimono Dragons tp, again, actually released in November

Few other things i'm into, but I'm trade waiting. Definitely the quietest month DC wise since I went to a Pull List

DC:

Detective Comics #824
Nightwing #125 - finally a good writer takes over this title
Outsiders #41 - this book manages to just stay good enough to not get dropped
Green Lantern Corps #5
Teen Titans #40
Birds of Prey #99
Flash #5
Justice League #3
Robin #155 - great book
Batman #658

When are the asses at DC going to actually get the new Justice Society book out? I do online so I order from solicits so some of these I'm getting and still have read the first title of or have just read the first title. Marvel hasn't posted their titles yet so I can't tell you what I'm getting. As far as Indies as always I'll be getting Usagi Yojimbo and Knights of the Dinner Table.

BTW, the mystery team on Action Comics is Richard Donner plotting, Geoff Johns scripting (adding to the ninety books he's already writing) and A Kubert on art.

-Well I guess the "exciting new direction" for Nightwing didn't last too long.

-Okay, I chuckle at how some fans say "Catwoman isn't a cheescake book anymore!. Jim Balent and his hooter-ific days have been kicked to the curve!" Then I see the cover to Catwoman #60. Ha!

-Teen Titans #40: Miss Martian..a teen Marian Manhunter? Since this is written by a Certain Writer, I imagine her origin will be "a cousin of Mary Marvel took a secret formula that she stole from Metamorpho and became the all-new Miss Martian, continuing the legacy of the Martian Manhunter!"

Marvel Brings The Goodies.

Notes
-I Love Greg Land's "art" but that Ultimate Power cover is.......Christ. The fact I'm tradewaiting Squadron Supreme Power means I don't even know wether that Scarlet With or a Squadder on the cover.

-I'm in two minds about Dr. Strange. The Character bores the shit out of me, but I love BKV

-Kirkman, Hester and Parks? Sold

-I'm jumping off X-Factor at 12

-Brubaker and Phillips? Doing Noir? I'm so there

-Will the last issue of Daredevil Father be released before the trade?

My Guilty Pleasure buy of the month is the FF: Heroes Reborn trade
