Observation one. The Tenzan/Akebono picture looks like a fucked up version of the hug scene in fight club.

Observation Two. Tyson Tomko needs a shave

So what the hell happened with Lesner?

I'm guessing he bitched out and rolled with the title?

whitemilesdavis - July 19, 2006 12:06 PM (GMT)
He had visa problems.

Big F'N Swigg - July 20, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
That Sucks. I would've loved a Giant Bernard/Lesnar match.

Really, I would

There is one on youtube. It's not bad, but Lesnar didn't seem to be to motivated in Japan, honestly.

Because he doesn't want to wrestle anymore period. But he can earn doing ANYTHING else in his life apparently.

whitemilesdavis - July 20, 2006 01:48 PM (GMT)
It's a shame, cause Brock was loaded with potential.

I was talking with a guy the other day about that. How atheletes get pissed when they're not allowed to work. Like T.O. when the Eagles suspended him. They say things like "They're preventing me from making a living!" When, in all actuality, they can make a living doing something else. Like being a banker, or a cook, or an infomercial star. But they "have" to make their living in sports

Big F'N Swigg - July 20, 2006 02:24 PM (GMT)
I've also heard that Lesnar isn't giving back the IWGP title. He claims he's the "True" champ.

He must love lawsuits.

whitemilesdavis - July 20, 2006 02:40 PM (GMT)
It'd be a pretty interesting work.

Big F'N Swigg - July 20, 2006 02:52 PM (GMT)
I'd think it was cool if it was some American indy. But it's the IWGP belt. The good one that we all ogled a few months ago. And that belt does NOT belong to Lesnar

dynamite kido - July 20, 2006 04:48 PM (GMT)
I agree 100% with you Swiggy. He should honestly just send the title back. It IS a shame as he's loaded with more potential than just about anyone I've seen in years, but he has such a fucking premadonna attitude about everything.

He's honestly only fucking himself. Especially when the Yakuza comes to get that gold off of his ass.

whitemilesdavis - July 20, 2006 04:53 PM (GMT)
I think you both misunderstood what I was saying. I'm saying NJPW may be working us, as in this could just be an angle.

I knew what you were saying, but I highly doubt it's an angle.

Big F'N Swigg - July 20, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
I'd think it were an angle if it weren't NJPW. They've burnt themselves so much in recent times that I don't think they'll try something that crazy for a while

whitemilesdavis - July 20, 2006 05:12 PM (GMT)
The only way it makes sense to me is if Brock really did have visa problems (reportedly NJPW's fault) and now has everything squared away and still wants to work. They've already done the title change, so they'd have to make an angle out of it. I doubt it too, I just thought it'd be interesting.

dynamite kido - July 20, 2006 06:08 PM (GMT)
Oh, I think it would be interesting for sure...

Big F'N Swigg - July 20, 2006 07:00 PM (GMT)
It's almost unavoidable, honestly. If they get his visa worked out and he won't give up the belt otherwise

Send the Yakuza.

He's sooooo dead
