Looks like Jackson/Butch Guice on the pencils. In that case, it'd be Chuck Dixon writing and it'd place it around 1999-2000. I'm guessing somewhere in issues #15-30.

For the record - I have an actual reason. Dixon has publicly said he will stop his kids from reading comics with homosexual characters in them - and the kids shouldn't be exposed to "that kind of thing" through comics
