Noble/London, Finlay/Lashley, and Rey/Regal all sound great. Should be a fun show.

So Batista finally comes back from injury and they're throwing him right back into the ring with the guy that hurt him in the first place?

dynamite kido - July 12, 2006 04:17 PM (GMT)
Of course they would. It's not like Henry hurts everyone he wrestles.

whitemilesdavis - July 12, 2006 04:51 PM (GMT)
I don't understand taking the US belt off of Lashley right now.

dynamite kido - July 12, 2006 05:03 PM (GMT)
I don't either, but they gave it to Finlay..........who fucking rocks. So I really have no issue with it.

whitemilesdavis - July 12, 2006 05:04 PM (GMT)
Could they possibly be elevating Lashley?

That's not a bad idea.

Build him up as a monster heel. Then him vs. Batista = money.

whitemilesdavis - July 12, 2006 05:07 PM (GMT)
Ooh. That could be ugly. I'd rather see him as a face, as I think his power moves work better for a face. I don't know if he's capable of being a lead heel yet.

He would be with Davari managing him.

Well, it is Lashley-Finlay-Regal at the Bash, which is an awesome idea for a match, and the belt stays in the match and feud.

I loved Finlay and Regal's little segment last week:

Regal: "Can you believe, after all this time, you and I going at it again? Remember when you broke my nose?"

Finlay: "Haha, yeah"

Regal: "And remember when I put your face through a car window. That was terrific."

Finlay: "No"

I don't know, just something about two guys that could realistically rip one of my arms off bantering back and forth about the past, and then of course, the segment ending with the Lepracaun humping Regal's leg. That was the shit.

On paper, I don't see anything to complain about in this episode. It looks pretty promising, I'll be sure to tape it.

dynamite kido - July 12, 2006 08:14 PM (GMT)
I don't weather this is good or bad, but I will admit it's the first SD that I've wanted to see in about a month or so.

Looks like a really good show, but Lashley losing the title isn't smart. But I guess it's to establish Finlay even further.

prof_plague - July 13, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)
I'm fine with Lashley dropping the belt, but I didn't think it would be this soon.
