Title: Ken Doane And A Random Fan
prof_plague - July 9, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
From PWInsider:
Virginia's WKTR Channel 3 covered the story of a local man who is claiming that he was injured by WWE star Ken Doane (Spirit Squad's Kenny) last Sunday following a Raw house show in Norfolk. Jason Wilson, 27, claims to have spotted Doane and Mickie James sitting at a red light in their car and approached them for autographs. James obliged, but when the light turned green, Wilson claims that Doane allegedly held onto his sign and pulled off. This allegedly caused Wilson to fall and his sign to tear. Wilson is claiming strain of his left shoulder and commented to the station, "And it's not my fault he did what he did. I'm innocent and I'm going to take a warrant out. And nobody's going to stop me over my dead body!" WWE's Gary Davis told the station that they were contacted by Wilson and offered signed photos. When he then asked for money, they asked him to file a written report. WWE told the station Doane and Wilson had no contact at all and they are unaware of how Wilson was injured Wilson told the station is attempting to have misdemeanor charges pressed against Doane. You can check out the WKTR report at this link.

Unlike the other wrestlers who have gotten in trouble lately and got punished for it some way or another, I don't see Donae getting much trouble for something stupid like this, becuase of an irritating fan who might be making up the entire thing.

This is why you shouldn't approach wrestlers while they are trying to drive. It was nice of Mickie to sign the autograph, and Doane didn't have to be such a blatant ass about it, but fans really should be respectful of the wrestler's space.

My theory:
Said person was shoving this sign through the window and being a douche in general. Doane nicely tried to ward him off and just eventually put the window up with the sign getting caught up in it. He drove off and said douche was pissed off and decided he could get a good payday out of this.

Usually when an irate person states "I'm innocent and I deserve bla bla bla" it means they more than likely are no where near innocent.

I strike this up as a little of both. The fan was probably an annoying douche, and Doane was probably being a pompus ass.
At the end of the day.......who cares.

Even if Doane was an ass to the guy it was at a red light. Some douche walks up to me at a light like that and I would want to drive off as soon as possible too.

Yeah, but you don't have to worry about insane people that are going to try and crush your livelyhood at every corner

The only problem comes in when Doane tries to drag him down the street. He could have just pulled off without signing the autograph.

Ken Doane should feel fortunate that people would even want his autograph at this stage in his career.

Apparently my sarcasm gets lost on SOME people still.
