Title: Edge and Scott Steiner

Are the two best heels in the United States at this moment. I never thought I'd hear myself say that. So who here agrees/disagrees?

I agree. Steiner is a step above Edge though, I'd say.

Steiner has just been unreal lately. I never thought I'd say THIS, but I'm digging current asskicking Steiner better than athletic suplex-machine Scotty right now...

I've been missing a lot of TNA lately (honestly, I keep forgetting it's on Thursdays and I'm usually not watching TV on saturdays) but from what I've seen, Steiner has been on a roll, creatively speaking.

Edge has been my favorite part of Raw since January. I'm extremely glad to see the WWE title on him again.

I don't know how you could even compare the two. Edge has consistantly been a good heel since they pulled the scumbag act with him and Lita. Steiner has been a decent heel in ONE arena in the country and there has been NO other idications that he's getting THAT majorly over as one.

I agree.

Steiner and Joe is the funnest thing in wrestling right now for me, and Steiner is a major part of that.

I've always hated Edge, but I must admit, he's found a way to be very effective.

I think Steiner's been really strong promo wise. It's fun seeing him forcing smarks to react the way he wants them to. I wish more indy heels could do that.

It's unfortunate that Scott had the doomed run in WWE, or none of us would be questioning his awesomeness right now. He was a great heel in the last days of WCW, and is a great heel now. His promos are awesome, and if he sticks to brawling, he can actually still deliver in the ring.

dynamite kido - July 10, 2006 02:49 PM (GMT)
Don't forget, he's only good when he's in there with good people. That's why the feud with him and Joe was such a good idea. Joe's a good leader, and Steiner used to be a great worker, so even though he's limited on what he can do physically he can still be lead in the ring.

That may be true, but to this point TNA has done a good job of protecting him.

Edge, on the other hand, seems completely incompetent in the ring. Yet, like I said, he's still an effective heel.

Yeah, TNA has done a good enough job on protecting him. Which is good for them, because if they didn't.......he would hurt them a hell of a lot more than help.

I think Edge has gotten fairly competant in the ring however........he HAS been wrestling Cena for the better part of the last year or so.

whitemilesdavis - July 10, 2006 04:32 PM (GMT)
That is a very good point.

Edge is going to get to prove a lot with this title reign (if they have him hold it longer than a fucking week) because they should have him facing and BEATING some different opponents.
