SamoaRowe - June 14, 2006 03:21 AM (GMT)
Edge vs. RVD sounds like a good time to me. Doesn't mean I'll order it, but the dvd may be worth looking into.
DX vs. Spirit Squad? It will probably be a fun match, though no different than what we get on Raw week after week.
Nitro vs Carlito vs Shelton? I think they were a bit fast to put Nitro in there, but he'll freshen things up. This could be a good one.
Flair vs. Foley? I actually think this one will be really good if booked properly. I'd like to see it.
Orton vs Angle is confirmed now by wwe.com. It will be the usual good match that Orton has when paired up with a superior worker, so it will be worthwhile, but nothing that I'd want to pay to watch.
Sabu vs. Cena. It was okay on Head to Head, so maybe with a ppv environment (and assuming they are motivated again this time) I'd like to see it.
Kane vs Kane.
Real F'n Show - June 14, 2006 03:46 AM (GMT)
You just know the real Kane will win and the fake one will be gone and then the next day Scrooge will be back to posting.
SamoaRowe - June 14, 2006 01:31 PM (GMT)
That would be AWESOME!
Seriously, wherever Scrooge is, I hope he's not missing this :)
Big F'N Swigg - June 26, 2006 03:14 PM (GMT)
It's really sad that the WWE title match was in the MIDDLE of the card.
Makes HHH fighting for the title match at WM X8 to top the card seem a little hypocritical
whitemilesdavis - June 26, 2006 03:21 PM (GMT)
I was gonna go last night, but decided against it at the last minute. From the sound of things, I didn't miss out on too much.
jamiegeist - June 26, 2006 04:15 PM (GMT)
It sounds horrible. I can't even speak to the in ring action, cause they overshadowed it with horrible decisions on the card itself, and even worse booking decisions.
I'm very unhappy with WWE, and it is getting really close to not even being fun to watch anymore.
prof_plague - June 26, 2006 05:48 PM (GMT)
To much off our surprise, Fake Kane won; and RVD won over Edge also. I wonder if Cena is going to defeat RVD and take-on Edge at SummerSlam.

Randy Orton defeated Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle went throat first into the exposed turn-buckle and Randy Orton hit an RKO to win.
Umaga w/Armando Alejandro Estrada defeated Eugene
Eugene was accompanied to the ring by a couple of his friends: Jim Duggan, Doink the Clown and Kamala! Umaga destroyed Eugene, then took out Doink & Duggan, but Armando instructed him to leave Kamala alone.
2/3 FALLS WRESTLING MATCH: Ric Flair defeated Mick Foley in two straight falls..
Ric Flair won the first fall with by rolling Mick Foley up with an inside cradle. Ric Flair won the second fall by Disqualification after Mick Foley used a trash can! After the match: Mick Foley found a barbed wire baseball bat and destroyed Ric Flair!
BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon wanted to try-out the new Penis Pump but got sprayed with green DX mist.
IC TITLE 3-WAY: Johnny Nitro w/Melina Perez defeated Shelton Benjamin and Carlito Cool to win the title!
WWE TITLE MATCH: Rob Van Dam defeated Edge w/Lita.
Rob Van Dam dodged the spear and Edge crashed into a steel chair which was held up by Lita! Rob Van Dam followed up with a frog splash and pinfall to retain the WWE championship.
The Fake Kane (aka Drew Hankinson) defeated The Real Kane with a chokeslam.
LUMBERJACK MATCH: John Cena defeated Sabu by Submission with STF-U.
WWE Lumberjacks: Viscera, Trevor Murdoch, Lance Cade, Rob Conway, Gene Snitsky, Matt Striker. ECW Lumberjacks: Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Al Snow, Stevie Richards. John Cena gave Sabu an F-U over the top rope through a Table set up at ringside. John Cena did what nobody had every done before... he made Sabu tap out to the STF-U!
BACKSTAGE: Rob Van Dam congradulated John Cena and offered him a title shot tomorrow night on RAW.
DX (Shawn Michaels & Triple H) defeated All 5 Members of the Spirit Squad.
The Spirit Squad = Kenny Doane, Mikey Mondo, Nicky Nemeth, Johnny Jeter, & Nick Mitchell. Triple H pedigreed Kenny Doane and Shawn Michaels superkicked Mikey Mindo and laid out the rest! HHH & HBK rolled everybody out except Mitch, who had his face squashed between Triple H's bare butt cheeks! |

Yeah, this one sounded awful. Although I'm glad to see that Nitro actually got the IC. Maybe now they'll try and actually do something with him and him having the title.
jamiegeist - June 26, 2006 06:43 PM (GMT)
I would rather they waited on him, but that is a general gripe with their way of doing things nowadays. Used to be, you build someone up TO a title. Now the WWE's way of pushing someone, is simply giving them a title, in place of actually giving them time and development. (See: MNM, Carlito, Spirit Squad, Cade & Murdoch)
I like the guy though. I think he is a star. Have for a while actually.
Mad Dog - June 26, 2006 07:35 PM (GMT)
My guess is that DX spends the next 3-6 months burying everyone on the roster. Destroying heels and undermining the faces. Just think, HHH has laid low for almost a year. It's going to be really bad.
jamiegeist - June 26, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
I kind of feel like that as well. Triple H is about to whip his cock out any moment now (I mean it figuritively, but with all the man ass on WWE lately, who knows) because I thought he was getting the strap at Mania. He didn't, and hasn't really been in the big picture (well, if you don't count Main Eventing a PPV) for a while.
Mad Dog - June 26, 2006 08:39 PM (GMT)
I wonder if we'll be treated to man ass on a weekly basis with the way things are going.
Mad Dog - June 26, 2006 08:40 PM (GMT)
Did anyone else think it was really stupid to have Kurt Angle debut a new gimmick and then job just 2 weeks later?
jamiegeist - June 26, 2006 08:53 PM (GMT)
Things I thought were stupid:
Angle jobbing.
Edge being a chump and not winning again.
Having a chance to break the ECW-WWE bond, and passing on it.
Jobbing Sabu while Cena's backing crew were jobbers.
Jobbing Sabu clean, instead of having an ECW guy turn on him to start an ECW feud.
Putting two 40 year olds acting like 13 years on last, against 5 developmental guys.
Ending the show on a Vince cliffhanger of "I'll see you tomorrow night". This is a fucking PPV, not a RAW.
Oh.
The WWE.
SamoaRowe - June 26, 2006 09:05 PM (GMT)
Damn, I really wanted Edge to win the title. I'm serious, I pretty much thought it was a foregone conclusion anyways.
So I got swerved, booo!
jamiegeist - June 26, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
I swear, they did it just to swerve. Cause it makes no sense.
They think that swerving is the same as "entertaining", and they're badly mistaken.
Edge wins, hold the title, and Cena chases him, finally giving them a money program. Instead, Cena wins the title tonight, and gets his ass booed all over the country somemore, and then kicks Edge's ass at Summerslam.
And I'm gonna cry, but I have this gross feeling that they're gonna try and feud DX with Orton or something equally stupid.
Mad Dog - June 26, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
See this is why I hate the WWF. Edge wasn't ready for the title in January so they give it to him and now that he's ready for the title they won't give it to him. ARGH!!!!!
Colcollazo - June 27, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
He's ready for it now but they'll probably keep it on RVD until ECW gets a renewed deal.
