Description: January 15th-January 16th
Scrooge McSuck - January 10, 2005 07:39 PM (GMT)
Last Week...
St. Louis Rams 27, Seattle Seahawks 20
N.Y. Jets 20, San Diego Chargers 17 *OT
Indianapolis Colts 49, Denver Broncos 24
Minnesota Vikings 31, Green Bay Packers 17
Divisional Playoffs...
New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers
(1/15/05; 4:30pm on CBS)
St. Louis Rams @ Atlanta Falcons
(1/15/05; 8pm on FOX)
Minnesota Vikings @ Philadelphia Eagles
(1/16/05; 1pm on FOX)
Indianapolis Colts @ New England Patriots
(1/16/05; 4:30pm on CBS)
My Predictions...
Pittsburgh over N.Y. Jets (31-10)
Atlanta over St. Louis (23-17)
Philadelphia over Minnesota (27-13)
New England over Indianpolis (41-20)
Lots of random scores thrown in, but I think this week is a little obvious.

This is probably going to be a really boring round of playoff football. Nothing really excites me this year as the NFC playoffs seem pointless as it's just the right to get slaughtered by the AFC team.

I still think the Patriots have a chance of beating them. Cowher has a tendency to choke in AFC Championship games.

Wouldn't it be funny if both the Steelers and Patriots lost? ... Actually, it wouldn't be. The Jets are the Boston Red Sox of the NFL. They will never win.

Well have none of that crazy Cleveland Brown fan talk here.
That's Crazy. Crazy guy.

It'd be horrible if the Jets won because New Yorkers are the most insufferable sports fans just after Philly fans.

That's crazy talk.. New York Jets play in New Jersey. So technically New Jersey fans suck. New York fans respect players... at least the Yankees, Knicks, and Rangers do. I don't follow the other teams.

MY PICKS:
Pittsburgh
St. Louis
Philly
New England
I already lost $15 when the Vikes beat the Packers, I hope Philly destroys them.

I won my bet on NY Jets/San Diego... phew.

That sentence means nothing anymore. And I cry myself to sleep every night because of it. Fucking David Ortiz.
Anyway, I hope against hope that the Jets pull off a miracle, but the Steelers are still my Super Bowl pick. But yea, for official picks, I pick all the home teams, which I hate doing. But if the Jets win, I'll be gassed.
