Title: Rob Zombie to direct......
Description: Halloween remake

dynamite kido - June 5, 2006 07:12 PM (GMT)
Apparently it's not a remake as it's supposedly going to be a whole reimagining of the story altogether. This has been announced on several websites and such and he confirmed it via his myspace account.

I thought he was doing an animated feature with Paul Giamatti?

If that's the Adventure of El Super Beasto cartoon he was developing he's either done with it, or that project is on hold.

Don't care. Rob Zombie was the biggest disappointment ever as a director. You would think such a huge fan of the horror genre wouldn't make such cliched shit as whatever that movie was called.

Real F'n Show - June 6, 2006 05:00 PM (GMT)
House of 1,000 Corpses. Damn that movie sucked.

whitemilesdavis - June 6, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure why someone would think ROb could direct a movie anyway.

WHAT??? I loved that movie

Real F'n Show - June 6, 2006 08:21 PM (GMT)
Damn you suck.

dynamite kido - June 6, 2006 09:54 PM (GMT)
I LIKED that movie.

Also, Devils Rejects was incredible.

Fuck off bitches.

Real F'n Show - June 6, 2006 09:58 PM (GMT)
The only movie involving Rob Zombie that's even remotely good is Air Heads.

Then you my friend are a schmuck.

Has anyone here even seen Devils Rejects?

whitemilesdavis - June 7, 2006 12:32 PM (GMT)
Being a future movie-maker, I'd expect more of you.

Why? Does anyone here want to debate with me why the film is terrible and I can point out the many reasons they'd be wrong?

whitemilesdavis - June 7, 2006 01:40 PM (GMT)
I'd expect more of you than to accept Rob Zombie as a legit film maker.

dynamite kido - June 7, 2006 07:16 PM (GMT)
He is a LEGIT filmmaker. Weather you like his movies or not, he is. I'd expect you to explain yourself more than just making a one line comment though.

C'mon WMD? Do you REALLY want to get into it?

Mad Dog - June 7, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
I had hope for him. As a fan I figured Zombie would put out something good. He hyped that stupid House of 1000 Corpses for years on Howard Stern. It finally came out and it was the most unoriginal thing that I've ever seen. It just further's my opinion that the horror genre has sucked since the 3rd Nightmare on Elm Street movie.

Real F'n Show - June 7, 2006 11:35 PM (GMT)
Whoever thought it would be a good idea to give a horrible songwriter the chance to write movies is the zombie...

It was a 70's drive in flick inspired movie. It's not trying to be incredibly original. Also, if you think horror has sucked since Nightmare III......you haven't been watching the right stuff.
