You know the drill.

I just finished Daredevil #10 and it has the first appearance of the Ani-Men while they were still human. I actually have a softspot for those losers. I wish Marvel still used them.

Opps, on the title.

Big F'N Swigg - June 3, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
Let's see....

Transformers: Beast Wars #4
Moon Knight #2
Last Month's Amazing Spiderman, Sensational Spiderman & Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman.
Wolverine #42

Just picked up Supermna/Batman #26. Huh? I thought this title was ending? It's still in my bike trunk, but it looks like an ensemble pin-up or anthology book.

Yeah, Ani-Men were cool. With the wacky costumes and radio headphones. Definite JTTS stable, but they were fun. Didn't they get renamed to "Unholy Trio" for a bit? I thnk Cat-Man left or was kicked out, and just Bird-Man, Frog-Man and Ape-Man used that name.

Yeah, I think they went under that when Whitney Frost hired them and they fought with Iron Man. I really liked them in Daredevil, they make a good challenge for him.

Since the flood, I've been buying comic books again to amuse myself. I've gotten recent issues of Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, Woverine Origins, Wolverine, Boba Fett one shot, and Astonishing X-Men. I haven't enjoyed modern Marvel comics this much since the 90's.

Big F'N Swigg - June 9, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
Picked up The Saga of the Swamp Thing #28, Tangled Web of Spiderman #6 & 7(I think), and Transformers #3 & 5.

So I'm making the big push to catch up on my X-Men reading. I'm about 16 issues behind on X-Men and 22 issues behind on Uncanny. I should hopefully be up to date by next month. I haven't been caught up on my X books since around 1998 or so.

SamoaRowe - June 12, 2006 05:36 PM (GMT)
I stopped reading X-Men titles when the grocery store I used to shop at stopped selling them. I didn't have my license at the time, so I fell far behind on comics. Then I got my license in 2001 and could drive myself places that sold them, but by that time the entire Marvel universe was going through this weird phase where they so desperately wanted to look and feel modern and hip. I was turned off, particularly by a horrible Uncanny X-Men #400 and stopped reading again.

Now I'm back and I'm liking what I see. Hopefully I'll be able to catch myself up more in the next few months.

I tried finding the first 2 issues of Moon Knight today. Yeah there isn't an issue to be had in the area. I also grabbed a couple issues of New X-Men to see if that series is any good.

I think its great that Moon Knight is back. I always thought he was pretty cool.

Mad Dog - June 13, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
The first issue sold over 100,000 copies so I think he might have some legs. He's always been a favorite of mine and I would like to see him rejoin the B list in the MU.

Good shit. Not a lot of action in them, but it is building to something.
