That's Vun! ah-ah-ah! VUN veautiful correct answer! ah-ah-ah!
EDIT; Oh yeah...we also need to move this to the "comics" folder.
Big F'N Swigg - May 30, 2006 05:27 PM (GMT)
That's the only one I can get without using the internet or opening my boxes.
The Last Free Voice - May 30, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
Can we get a special "LFV" edition of "Easy DC Comics Triva"? The only one I'd be able to get is the Watchmen one, and I'd have to go check it out of the TPB, which is cheating...

If the weekend comes along, and they're still unanswered, you can cheat or Google it. Research can be almost as much fun.
Special LFV Easy DC Comics Trivia:
1- Who is Superman's wife?
2- Where does the Flash store his costume?
3- Who is Batman's sidekick?
4- What animal does Hawkman emulate?
5- How much hair does Lex Luthor have?
6- What is the name of Batman's car?
7- Name somebody who FLIES.
8- What color are Green Lanterns susceptible to?
9- What comic did Superman first appear in?
10- Which famous radio DJ did the voice of Robin in the old Hanna Barbera cartoons?

In his Ring?
Robin.
Ohh... toughie... A Hawk?
None
Batmobile
Superman
None, now. Formerly, Yellow. Alan Scott couldn't work against Wood.
Action Comics #1
Casey Casum. If I spelt that wrong, I don't really care. My ego is no longer shattered in a million pieces. Thank you.

In his ring????
You do know we're talking about the Flash
The Last Free Voice - May 30, 2006 06:25 PM (GMT)
I remember there being some little ring type contraption that he hit a button and the suit popped out. Maybe that was teh Barry Allen days. I dunno. I don't read Flash.

#10 was on my list of "real questions"... so feel good about that one.
#2 is ring. Is there somewhere/someone else you're thinking of?

maybe in every edition there should be one easy one, unoffically dubbed the LFV question as an inside joke, on the off chance we get more posters who won't get it.

Ha! LFV just BEAT YOU DOWN with his Flash knowledge!
The ring thing IS a little weird. I had trouble accepting it as a kid... like, "why does FLASH need a ring like Green Lantern? And the suit fits in it? That's dumb!"
Nifty thing about the ring, though-- when Flash pummels a guy, he'll have little lightning bolt indentations all over him. Think they showed that a few times in the early Wally West days.

Alfred Beagle, though there is an argument to be made that he was known as Alfred Jarvis before that.

Doggie bats clean up for all ya'll!
That leaves us with:
1-- What was the name of the popular fast-food joint in "Watchmen"?
3-- Which member of the All-Star Squadron went on to become a writer?
9-- Which famous (real life) actor was Uncle Marvel modelled after?
#1 can be found easily, but hopefully 3 & 9 will require some searching.

Technically, that's correct....but that was the REPLACEMENT fast-food joint, that only appeared briefly in the last issue. I'm thinking of the restuarant that was seen throughout the series.
