... Eh, we need the traffic. Right now I'm enjoying the fact critics are already panning the movie as a disappointment (and most notably Tom Hanks' apparent "wooden/zombie" performance. Go See No Evil! WOO! WOO! WOO!
I'm not expecting much from the movie, to be honest. I'd much rather see a documentery based on Holy Blood Holy Grail, rather than a movie made from the Code. The book was alright, but the "Non-Fiction" book they ripped off seemed so much more engrossing to me.
The movie was alright, though it really sucked in comparison to the book. If this had just been any other random Hollywood movie, I probably would've had a higher opinion of it. It's just that a lot of the exciting parts in the book (the plot twists and the treasure hunt) were just handled so well and in the movie they were mostly botched.
Tom Hanks was miscast as Robert Langdon. It was a good idea on paper, yet just not carried out too well.
On a side note, I read Angels and Demons while camping, and I thought it was a much better story than Da Vinci Code.
