Tomorrow, 5/18 is the 26th anniversary of Ian Curtis taking his life. I know most of you guys probably don't listen to Joy Divison, and even if you do, it probably hasn't impacted your life like it has mine, but if possible, try to listen to a song or two by them tomorrow. They never got to America, or they would have been the biggest band in the world. So tomorrow listen to JD, and think about what could have been. Or don't. But I know I will.

Just from the one song I know, "Love Will Tear Us Apart", to think that someone that could write a song as great as that and then commit suicide a month after it was released--it's obvious what a great loss the music world suffered...to say nothing of his friends and family and people who actually knew him, of course.
