How about a folder specifically for polls?

I don't think anything else is needed. No need to put watered down things unless there's a great demand. For tape trading, just put a link to Kayfabe Memories board or something.

We SHOULD have some sore of tape trading thread......

I think Video Games & Computers should also include Toys, incase some loser (ahem...:D) wants to post something lame like that.

I agree with the political forum thing. For every person that's in there that can handle it well there are 10 more that can't and start shit because of it.

I don't have a problem with MikeSC. He knows how to do a debate and he usually doesn't carry shit over to other threads. It's morons that don't back anything they say up and then run crying to the mods to get everyone who disagrees with them banned.

I never got in to the TSM politics, but I thought that Mike was good in the TNA folder of all places. At least he could back up his arguments.....

The only TSM people I really get annoyed by are the hardcore discussion trash that seem to pollute everything with their idiocy now.

I feel bad for Mike as he was ganged up on for little reason. Though it was a little bit karmic.

How about a forum for the mod's here that is a protected one......

I think we're fine, unless someone strongly feels different. I'll keep the mod forum in mind though.

How about a No PWNing LFV forum... It really isn't fun getting ganged up on all the time, even if I do dish it back...

We killed that one off already. There was some fat trimming done to better suit a smaller forum.

And to be honest, I'd prefer we not have one specifically because I think that would make us less "accessible" to younger posters.

Ok, seriuosly, I just don't want a LSD/porn folder because they encourage people to become little Jerry Lawlers.

And it just turns into the same question asked about 3 million times. Because people think they're the first to have a certain problem despite the fact that they could easily find advice from looking over old posts.

How bout a "Misc. Crap No One Cares About" Folder?

Could be for Books... and Porn. And Porn in Books. I got nothing else for this idea.

We could turn the Flame Wars folder into that.

Good Idea. Why do we need a Flame Wars folder? That's just itching to attract the wrong kind of people... and limits LFV from starting topics about insulting himself.

I agree, I think Flaming Folders eventually bring the quality of everything around it down. I've seen it happen at 411 twice now and it's happening at TSM.

It goes ok for awhile but it starts spilling out into other areas after awhile.

I guess I was afraid at first (since it was most popular) that it would drive the posters who frequented Flame Wars away. Plus, it also keeps spam, pointless topics, and arguements confined to one place, as opposed to all over the board.

I think it becoming a Misc. folder wouldn't hurt it but I think taking away the idea of a flame forum will be a help if this board is around for a long time.

How about we don't let you post in the flaming folder until you have like 100 posts or something.

That encourages post whoring... and not the good kind. At least my whoring is actually sparking discussion rather than wanting to build my post count. God Damn I hate having such a higher number. :(

Yeah, I agree with post whoring too. I think the Flaming Folder is fine for us at this point because we're just screwing around but it'll be a problem later. It always is.

Then all the post whoring will get you nowhere. The posts would then be deleted and their post count would return to zero.

This really shouldn't be so hard.
