Title: DC's Brave New World (spoilers)
eStragand - May 15, 2006 06:15 PM (GMT)
So I'm looking at this house ad for DC's "Brave New World" special. It's a 1.00 special with previews of their new upcoming titles-- Atom, Matian Manhunter, Flash, etc. (wait...I thought I said "new"??)
Anyways, it's supposed to have a SHOCK ending featuring "the return of the most UNEXPECTED character of all". It shows a silhouette of a guy with pointy shoulder pads, a cape and a huge protruding forehead/set of eyebrows.
I'm guessing it's the Monitor. Why? No clue and there's no need for it. What other justification do ya' need?!
Camping out for the return of the New Guardians!

They're restarting Flash? JEEZ.
Why can't they just let some books/characters die?

All rumours are pointing to Martian Manhunter being the new Monitor.
And do you really think they'd let a franchise hero like Flash die completely?

I wish they would. It's annoying as hell that series keep restarting just for the sake of restarting.

That's not going to happen. They may be dumb, but they're not dumb enough to alienate the legion of hardcore Flash fanatics.

I'd love to see the sales numbers on some of their books.
And legion may be a bit of a stretch
