Title: *SPOILERS* BIG Signing for TNA

| Legendary wrestling manager and all time great promo man Jim Cornette has agreed to terms with TNA and will be debuting soon for the company in an "authority figure" role. Given Cornette's ability to cut fabulous promos and his ability to sell storylines, he should be a fabulous asset for TNA. |

Maybe he'll help the booking, too

They've actually gotten better at that, but he can help make the undercard booking better, since they still are pretty fucking directionless.

Well, this is excellent news.
Mad Dog - May 7, 2006 07:42 PM (GMT)
Hopefully this leads to Cornette doing a lot of commentary.

Dear Don West,
Get the fuck lost. We have Cornette now.
Your Pal,
Scrooge.

I like Don West. Sure, he's not the greatest commentator ever, but he brings a lot of excitment to the table. He and Tenay just complement each other so well.
Tenay is the wrestling genius, he knows what everything's called, where the wrestlers are from, what they weigh, where they've wrestled before, what they had for breakfast today.......... etc.
West is just the :HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THAT MOVE!!!!! guy and he's good at what he does.
Now if we could get Cornette as a heel announcer we'd be all set. That's what TNA's really missing.
Real F'n Show - June 9, 2006 11:53 PM (GMT)
Don Callis would work too. Cornette as an authority figure should be a blast. There's rumors he'll be in a program with LAX and Konnan right away...
Mad Dog - June 10, 2006 02:39 AM (GMT)
West is a lot better than he used to be. At least he seems excited about the show. Half the time on Raw the announcers act like they want to be anywhere but there.
