Big F'N Swigg - April 29, 2006 02:14 PM (GMT)
Worst. Movies. Ever.

So how many have you seen, and why?

S.T. Strickler - April 29, 2006 02:40 PM (GMT)
Only ones I saw from that list was Mr. Nanny, MK Annihilation, and Street Fighter.

Scrooge McSuck - April 29, 2006 03:04 PM (GMT)
I went over this with someone last week, oddly enough. I think My total was 12-13. Off my head, I remember the 3 S.T. mentioned, Jaws the Revenge, Jaws 3 (if it's still on there), and all of the Police Academy Movies listed. Let me double check the rest.

Edit: I see Jaws 3 came off the list.

Others Seen: The Never Ending Story III, Meatballs III: Summer Job, Teen Wolf 2, Rollerball.

Seen parts of: From Justin to Kelly (ewww...), Car 54, Where Are You?

Mad Dog - April 29, 2006 03:44 PM (GMT)
What I've seen:

Car 54, Where Are You?
Manos: The Hands of Fate - MST3K version at least
Hercules In New York
Jaws: The Revenge
Hobgoblins - again MST3K version
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians - I resent this being on here and it was through MST3K again
Horror of Party Beach - MST3K yet again
Eegah - MST3K
Merlin's Shop of Magical Wonders - MST3K
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation
Night Train to Mundo Fine: MST3K
Mitchell: MST3K
King Kong Lives
Beast of Yucca Flats: MST3K
Monster a-Go Go: MST3K
Alien From L.A.: MST3K
Barbaric Creature of Boggy Creek II: MST3K
Wild World of Batwoman: MST3K
Street Fighter

So only 6 outside of MST3K.

Scrooge McSuck - April 29, 2006 03:51 PM (GMT)
What channel is MST3K on, if any anymore?

Mad Dog - April 29, 2006 04:05 PM (GMT)
It's not on the air anymore. Though som episodes are available on DVD.

jamiegeist - April 29, 2006 06:54 PM (GMT)
Spice World and Ringmaster are the only ones I've seen.

I'm sure I've seen bits and peices of some of them on USA and TNT over the years though.

eStragand - April 29, 2006 07:05 PM (GMT)
Worst. Movie. Ever = "Megiddo: Omega Code 2".

Look it up. Overly Christian movie, as the President of the US fights Satan. He calls in reinforcements by contacting the President of China, who is arriving at the big fight in a tank.

if you have Comcast, use the On Demand menu for the Starz "Only Here" button. Nothing but shitty movies. Not surprisingly, Starz added intros to some... hosted by the "Film Crew", aka Mike Nelson, Kevin Murhpy (Tom Servo) and ...the second guy who did Crow. Some have intros by Chase Masterson...a slutty former Star Trek actress.

Some samples:
Black Spring Break 2
Sounded like it would be House Party type of flick. But it's a wannabe hip-hop icon giving himself a 90 minute cinematic blow-job. See, he's a former football player and a succesful rapper..and all the hoes wanna' suck his big manly meat missile. Repeat for 90 minutes.

Dark Town
AWFUL Vampire movie. Did a quickie synopsis a few weeks ago. Note to director: "vampires" do NOT equal "cannibals"

Creature Unknown
The overdone formula of "partying teens find monster in the woods". One of the teens is LOST's Maggie Grace (currently playing a corpse on LOST, by the way)

Scarecrow Goes Wild
Another "partying teens find monster". This time, it's a scarecrow...and apparently there's a BEACH in the Nebrsaka cornfield, and everyone easily commutes from the cornfield to a Florida beach. But don't worry, baseball coach KEN SHAMROCK is there to protect the kids!

Galaxy Hunter
Leftover plot from an episode of the 1980 BattleStar Galactica...but it's a softcore fanboy porn. Makes Barbarella look like Shawshank Redemption

Alien 51
Rubber masked monster eats people in the desert. Heidi Fleiss is aboard as the bitchy and creepy girlfirend of a bitchy and creepy carnival barker.

Detour, or "Cannibal Highway"
Another "Partying teens find monsters in desert" flick. It's not clear if it's supposed to be a total satire or straight-up monster flick. Varies from the formula a bit as the ditziest characters actually survive.

Rodentz!
Partying teens find MUTANT RATS. Money shot of the film is a giant paper-mache rat falling on top of a Volkswagen, while both explode.

SamoaRowe - April 30, 2006 03:26 AM (GMT)
Out of those, I have seen:

Going Overboard (uuggghhh)
Gigli (or enough of it to count)
Captain America
Mortal Komba: Annihilation
Street Fighter

I'm kinda bummed, I figured I would've seen more of those.

Scrooge McSuck - April 30, 2006 03:27 AM (GMT)
I'm bummed Mad Dog has seen more than me, considering my high tolerance (pfft) for crap, but I'll take credit away since almost all of those were MST3K.

There are a lot of Christian movies like that. I used to have discussions with my friends at church in high school that you could make movies that expressed Christianity that didn't beat people over the head with it. They didn't believe me, but there are plenty out there now. i.e. The Big Kahuna, Bruce Almighty, Lord of the Rings, and to some degree, the Matrix (Though I know it's not intentionally Christian).

If online I could rub it in their faces....

My checklist of Utter Insignificance

-3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998)
Just watched it cuz' it was filmed in Denver

-House of the Dead (2003)
Partying teens find ZOMBIES. Had Clint Howard and some incredibly HOT chic as the surviving heroine (Ona Grauer). It was set in Seattle, but the plot involved Spanish Conquistadors?!! Huh? Oh that's right, the Spainards visited Seattle after conquering Canada and defeating the dinosaurs.

-Leonard Part 6 (1987)
My buddy J insisted we rent this movie bakc in 1987. We mockingly called him "Leonard" for a few months. Really, it was about 10 years behind its time.

-Kazaam (1996)
Shaq: "uhh...I'm all about the bad movies"

-Simon Sez (1999)
I cou;dn't stop laughing during the sex scene. Some broad turns on her custom "fucking music and lights".

-'Manos': The Hands of Fate (1966)
MST3K. This was Torgo, right?

-Howling II: Stirba - Werewolf Bitch (1985)
HBO late night when it came out in the mid 80's. Although I don't remember the subtitle.

-Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 (2000)
ehhh...

-Hercules in New York (1970)
On the locla station around 1988 when Arnold was blowing up. I remember it being called "Hercules Goes Bananas", though

-Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994)
#6, I think.

-Shanghai Surprise (1986)
I watched it on HBO late one night, with the sound turned down, when I was about 14. Wanted to see Madonna get nekkid (cut me a break..I was young and stupid). Never did and fell asleep.

-Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
I saw it in the MOVIE THEATRE! Beat that, bitches!

-Hobgoblins (1988)
Through MST3K... although I think I may have rented it in 1989

-Teen Wolf Too (1987)
Ran forever on HBO around 1988

-Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)
Rented it in 1984 and thought it was a straight-up comedy. My family hated me for it. Saw it on the MST3K Xmas special in 1991, too

-Rollerball (2002)
Ugh.

-Rhinestone (1984)
Rented it when it first came out. For some reason, I thought Stallone's bad jokes about "my organ" were hilarious.

-Tarzan, the Ape Man (1981)
Wow...I am completely embarassed to admit this, but my DAD took me to see this in FIRST GRADE, at the theatre! I had a half-day at school, and we went to a matinee. Whenever Bo Derek got nekkid, my dad would put me in a headlock and say "don't look sexy broads! don't look sexy broads!" After awhile, he gave up. I wasn't freaked out at seeing boobies..I was freaked out at the shitty movie.

-Mitchell (1975)
Through MST3K. The lazy action hero who makes other guys do his stunts. MITCHELL!

-Alien from L.A. (1988)
Watched after school on HBO in 10th grade (early 1990). I never knew who Kathy Ireland was, and I couldn't decide if she was hot or not.

-The Mangler (1995)
Ehh...I even saw "Mangler 2". Lance Henriksen should host a Shitty Movie Marathon.

-Ator l'invincibile 2 (1984)
The MST3K "Cave Dwellers!" Oh man, I love this flick! "Hey Joel, how much Keefe is in this film?" "Miles O'Keefe!" Oh yeah, the female sidekick is smoking... she actually played the lead in the 80's porn, "Fanny Hill" (That's another story in itself)

Surpirisingly, I've NEVER seen the 1990 Captain America. Yet I've seen all of the Blackhawk serials.

So I've seen TWENTY-TWO of these bad boys...and TWO as first-run movies IN THE THEATRES!! Kneel before Zod!![B]
