Scrooge McSuck - January 6, 2005 10:54 PM (GMT)
Here's the lineup for this weekends games and when and what channel they are going to be televised on. All times are Eastern, so if, for example, it says 8pm, in Pacific time that would be 5pm.

AFC Wild Card:
New York Jets (10-6) @ San Diego Chargers (12-4)
(January 8th; 8pm on ABC)

Denver Broncos (10-6) @ Indianapolis Colts (12-4)
(January 9th; 1pm on CBS)

Teams with BYE's: New England Patriots (14-2) & Pittsburgh Steelers (15-1)

NFC Wild Card:
St. Louis Rams (8-8) @ Seattle Seahawks (9-7)
(January 8th; 4:30pm on ABC)

Minnesota Vikings (8-8) @ Green Bay Packers (10-6)
(January 9th; 4:30pm on FOX)

Teams with BYE's: Atlanta Falcons (11-5) & Philadelphia Eagles (13-3)

Real F'n Show - January 6, 2005 11:46 PM (GMT)
WILD CARD PREDICTIONS:
Chargers over Jets
Colts over Broncos

(upset special) Rams over Seahawks
Packers over Vikings

TehDoct0r - January 7, 2005 03:33 AM (GMT)
I go with you, Real F'n Show, except I have to put my heart and soul into the Jets beating the Bolts. It prolly won't happen, but oh well.

Real F'n Show - January 9, 2005 12:54 AM (GMT)
Rams just beat the Seahawks 27-20. I'm one for one so far.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 12:56 AM (GMT)
I'm picking NY Jets over San Diego 24-13.

Real F'n Show - January 9, 2005 12:58 AM (GMT)
I'll go Chargers 31, Jets 17.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 01:07 AM (GMT)
(prays to God) LET THE JETS WIN! J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!

Gotta love the music in the background for that opening. (I think the Chicago Bulls use it for their introductions, and was also Ricky Steamboats theme music in WWE )

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 01:24 AM (GMT)
Jets kicker Doug Brien misses a 33 yd. field goal attempt... FUCK! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! I got money invested in this game!

I think I might skip Velocity if this game stays close like it is right now. (cries that I'm going to miss a bunch of shit)

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 02:23 AM (GMT)
Anthony Becht rushes for a touchdown to tie the game 7-7. Woohoo bitches!

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 03:11 AM (GMT)
Touchdown by Santana Moss gives New York a 14-7 lead! WAHOO!

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 04:27 AM (GMT)
San Diego makes a late comeback to take this sucker to overtime.

I wonder who's going to win the Drew Brees free agency sweepstakes this offseason.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 04:30 AM (GMT)
I don't understand the point of a clock in THE PLAYOFFS, especially when it's basically sudden death rules.

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 04:42 AM (GMT)
I'm starting to hate these late games. I hate the fact that I have to stay up till midnight to find out who won. MNF is even worse as OT games can go till 1.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 05:08 AM (GMT)
My prediction was close. Give 4 points from the Jets to the Chargers and voila!

Jets win with a 28 yrd FG made by Brien with 8 seconds left in OT #1.

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 05:22 AM (GMT)
Marty proves yet again that he's without a doubt the worst playoffs coach ever.

dynamite kido - January 9, 2005 06:16 AM (GMT)
Marty proves yet again that he's without a doubt the most overrated coach ever.

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 07:05 AM (GMT)
I know this as a Browns fan very well.

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 09:24 PM (GMT)
Indy easily wins though their defense looked like shit.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 09:34 PM (GMT)
Green Bay pays tribute to Reggie White. (cries) Of course a bunch of idiots forget that a moment of silence means to be silent.

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 11:15 PM (GMT)
I'm going to laugh all night if the Packers win with yet another 2nd half comeback on the Vikings.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 11:25 PM (GMT)
3rd Interception of the day for Minnesota. I can assume this game won't change from the current direction (a.k.a Vikings schooling Packers)

Mad Dog - January 9, 2005 11:27 PM (GMT)
Favre pisses me off. He's really getting bad about just tossing the ball up and expecting his receivers to get it.

Scrooge McSuck - January 9, 2005 11:30 PM (GMT)
Slamalama Ding-Dong returns! (does the happy dance) Wait... that guy in the commercial looked like someone from Seinfeld. The annoying guy who annoys Jerry and has fasination with ovaltine jokes.

Banya.

ANd what the hell did Moss do after the touchdown? I was throwing in laundry and missed it.

Real F'n Show - January 10, 2005 01:02 AM (GMT)
He pretended to pull down his pants and then proceeded to ass-hump the post. Jerk.

None of these shit-ass teams stand a chance against New England anyway...

Scrooge McSuck - January 10, 2005 01:19 AM (GMT)
... (throws Molotov cocktail through Shows window)

TehDoct0r - January 11, 2005 05:28 AM (GMT)
Did anyone catch Jimmy Johnson interviewing Moss on the pregame? What a tool he is.
