Title: Comic Book Sub Folder
Mad Dog - April 23, 2006 12:03 AM (GMT)
I think our comic book discussion has been really strong for the last couple of months and I think maybe it's time to give it a sub folder for itself.
Anyone else agree?

I wouldn't ne against it. The topic in question has been getting lots of action, and even has me buying comic books for the first time in... well, ever.

Good idea. I'm not a big comic reader, so it'll clean up the Random Stuff folder a little and give you guys a good place to put all your discussion together.

I was just about to suggest the same thing.

I agree. With me, ES, Mad Dog and Swiggy routinly contributing, and Scrooge starting to get into it too, I think we have more than enough intrest to sustain a folder.

Could you move the Infinite Crisis thread to the comics folder?
eStragand - April 24, 2006 03:48 AM (GMT)
yeah...and snag "Product Placement", "Secret Wars re-enactment society", "New Spidey Suit" and a few others.
Howzabout making a full folder instead of a sub-folder of "Random"? There's enough categorization and sub-folders already. And how could something be a sub-folder of "random"..yet not really be random? (head explodes from deep thought)

While your brain melts from thinking over that, try and explain Back to the Future Part 2's plot and how it actually makes sense.
Mad Dog - April 24, 2006 05:43 AM (GMT)
I could see it getting it's own folder down the line but I think a sub folder would be ok for the time being.
Scrooge McSuck - April 24, 2006 06:03 AM (GMT)
Yeah, maybe the fad will die out.
Mad Dog - April 24, 2006 06:09 AM (GMT)
No, I want to push hard on the comic book discussions because I think if we can continue to make it stronger that we can attract some new posters.
eStragand - April 24, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
But be careful.... if we get THAT KIND of comic traffic.... well, it'll become the "Best. Folder. Ever" (tm Jeff Albertson)
Scrooge McSuck - April 24, 2006 06:15 AM (GMT)
As long as it doesn't attract geeks arguing over which version of Star Trek had better technology, I don't care who it is.
Edit: Wasn't Jeff Albertson Grandpa Joe in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory?

Maybe... but it's also the real name of "Comic Book Guy" from the Simpsons.
