Title: Rowe has a Nintendo DS now!
Description: He likes it... any other opinions?

Yeah, I recieved a Nintendo DS as an early birthday present from my folks. I bought some games with it, Mario Kart DS, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, and Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. It came with Animal Crossing, which so far is a bit too cutesy and annoying for my taste.

Anyone else big on DS or hand-held Nintendo systems in general?

Animal Crossing can turn into a really ugly addiction if you aren't careful.

Rowe, you gotta get Castlevania. Trust me...it's a fantastic game. After that, perhaps Super Mario Bros. DS and, if you like strategy games, Advance Wars. Really a lot of great games.

I definitely like my DS, except for the small dead pixel on the top screen. But it doesn't really bother me, as long as I'm not staring directly at it. By the way, I got the special edition "Hot Rod Red" package.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2006 03:09 AM (GMT)
A coworker strongly suggested Castlevania to me as well... I should consider buying it the next time I go to get a game.

By the way, in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, what is up with that first dungeon. One of the first rooms on the main floor has a switch that needs a heavy object to be placed on it, but there isn't one to be found. Was I supposed to stop somewhere in town for a special item or skill or what?

What's the point of playing a Zelda game if you ask for help in the 1st Dungeon?! YOU DISGUST ME!

Now quit bragging about having a DS, or I'll move into your house and jerk off to a picture of your girlfriend.

Hey, it took a lot of swallowing of pride to ask for help on the first dungeon :P But seriously, it's a very frustrating room, but I'm sure I'm just overlooking something.

Hey, I had to brag at least once, now I'm just leading civil conversation B) And stay away from my room and girlfriend!

Scrooge McSuck - April 7, 2006 03:30 AM (GMT)
I am staying away... for now! (maniacal laughter)

Seriously, you suck if you need help in the first room of the first dungeon. And you're right... you should brag. Fuck, I do it all the time.

<---Jerked off 7 times today.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2006 03:32 AM (GMT)
It's not the first room in the dungeon, it's one of the first rooms... sort of. It's actually more like the eighth or nineth, but whatever.

Now if someone could actually give me a tip, I could advance B) The strategy guide is 15 bucks used on Amazon, which is crap.

Scrooge McSuck - April 7, 2006 03:34 AM (GMT)
Fine, I'll help you...

You're supposed to drop something from the floor above through a hole... and it's STILL the first fucking dungeon. I've been able to beat first dungeons while blind-folded and playing with my feet. I also have no life, so I have more time to practice, but that's not the point.

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
No Scrooge, you were WRONG! Bahahahaha!

I figured it out... and I'm not saying how, because it was really stupid.

Scrooge McSuck - April 7, 2006 03:58 AM (GMT)
What happend, you kept trying to go through the wrong door?

SamoaRowe - April 7, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
No, it was stupid, but not that stupid. Now that my homework is done, I can go finish that dungeon off :D

Scrooge McSuck - April 7, 2006 04:25 AM (GMT)
Until you need help finding the master key and needing strategy to beat the boss... you sicken me. :P

Just for the record, I beat the dungeon last night and the boss was a piece of cake :P

Well played, Clerk.
