Ring of Honor returned to Chicago Ridge, Illinois at the Frontier Fieldhouse, drawing 1,100-1,200 fans. Quick results saw:

*Samoa Joe & Adam Pearce defeated two masked "CZW stars" in a quick squash set up by Commissioner Jim Cornette calling out CZW stars.

*Ricky Reyes beat Delirious, Flash Flanagan, & Shane Hagadorn in a Four Corners bout when Reyes made Delirious tap.

*Jimmy Rave & Alex Shelley defeated Jimmy Yang & Claudio Castagnoli when Rave pinned Castagnoli. Solid match with some funny spots. Chris Hero shows up and gets the mic, saying he's going to go to war with Castagnoli, his former partner. Hero flings chairs into the ring from the crowd, one of which clobbers a photographer on the head.

*Ace Stee defeated Chad Collyer in a fun brawl after a tombstone onto a guard rail in the ring.

*AJ Styles & Matt Sydal defeated Austin Aries & Jack Evans when Sydal pinned Evans after a shooting star press. Awesome match. Sydal bloodied or broke his nose.

*They announced a 6/24 return with the debut of Pro Wrestling NOAH's KENTA for the Chicago area.

*In an off the charts match, Do Fixer of Dragon Kid, Genki Horiguchi, & Ryo Saito beat Blood Generation of CIMA, Nauki Doi, & Masato Yoshino when Kid pinned Doi with the Dragoncanrana. There were two counts in this match then there will be at Wrestlemania. The crowd chanted, "Please don't stop" as the match hit its peak.

*MisChif defeated Daizee Haze, Allison Danger, Cheerleader Melissa, Lacey, & Rain. Just a tad under the quality of last week's New York's Women's bout.

*Homicide defeated Mitch Franklin. Franklin was a substitute for Colt Cabana, announced as having a concussion. Cabana came out and said he wasn't going to end it tonight in his hometown and they had a good brawl, but Cabana was laid out with a series of chairshots.

*As Cabana was being removed, Chris Hero and Necro Butcher invade. They brawl with Adam Pearce and BJ Whitmer. Jim Cornette attacks Butcher with a bat, but Hero takes him down in an armbar. Samoa Joe hits the ring and lays out Hero. Cornette, Pearce, Whitmer, and Joe are left standing tall as Hero is thrown out the back door.

Joe calls out Christopher Daniels, but Jimmy Jacobs comes out in his new role as annoying emo kid and joins the match, replacing Whitmer, who has an injury. Joe defeated Jimmy Jacobs & Christopher Daniels when he choked out Jacobs in another good match.

ROH champion Bryan Danielson pinned Roderick Strong in about 58 minutes.

Notes: Several WWE stars including Rene Dupree and Jamie Noble visited backstage....Jonny Fairplay was in the crowd....Billy Corgan was also in attendance.

Well I'll be the first one to say that the Strong/Danielson match sounds horribly TOO LONG.

And yes, that Danielson/Strong match does sound like it was a tad too long. 57 minutes would have been just fine...

Well, it was an angle where he'd be otu of ROH if he didn't get a win this weekend. He lost nights one and two, and the ROH board is pretty excited that he's not gone. Or in on one big April Fools Joke that's really uncool.

I really need to watch some ROH. My friend tells me great things about it, but honestly I just don't wanna pay to see it. Anything I can get online is marvelous.

Oh, and I needed this thread to clean sweep "most recent" on the wrestling category.
