Title: Heat spoilers for 12/12
Description: and other off air Raw notes
Real F'n Show - December 8, 2004 01:42 AM (GMT)
credit: wrestlingobserver
Dark Match:
"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters p. CW Anderson (they billed him from
Charlotte) with the fisherman's suplex (Masterplex?)
Dark Match or Heat squash, don't know which:
Gene Snitsky p. Maurice ? (African American, wore Carolina blue tights
and boots, didn't catch the last night over WWE's muffled speakers)
Heat:
Rhyno p. Sylvan Grenier (got the most heat of the... Heat matches)
Val Venis p. Steven Richards
Rob Conway p. Tajiri (best Heat match)
Post-show: Lita continued to celebrate, that's about it.
NOTES:
*Approximately 2,000 seats on the camera side were tarped off,
however, they did have to open up a section of about 100 seats to
accomodate everyone. That in itself may sound good, until I counted
that the rest of Independence Arena, with the RAW setup and those
tarped-off seats, was seating an absolute maximum of 5,000, maybe more
in the 4,500 range.
*I'm presuming that the ECW DVD was doing steady business at the
gimmick stands, only because there were 4 sold in the minute-change I
was on line to get my own copy.
*After the Edge/Orton segment went to break, Orton ran back to the
ring and RKO'd Edge, posed on the ramp for the pop, etc.
*Gotta love Vince, coming out with Big Goldie on his shoulder smack in
the middle of old Crockett country.
*The Desire, as always, played at the beginning of the show. UT, Rock,
and Austin got the loudest pops, Flair of course got the "Wooo!". Next
biggest pops, but a level down from the top 3, were for Benoit and
Bret.
I guess these were kind of pointless unless you live outside the US, as Heat will be airing live this Sunday due to Armageddon. Heat doesn't look too bad though. Tajiri vs. Conway sounds like it could have been good, as does Venis/Richards.

I got scolded for "bumping" a two month old thread that was still on the main page at another message board, so I'm doing this for therapy.
Besides, it's also fun to think back to when Heat was actually on tv.
eStragand - December 7, 2006 06:36 AM (GMT)
When I saw this I thought "well lookee there-- ECW musta' been re-named to HEAT".
Just like that. I even thought the word "lookee".
Real F'n Show - December 7, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
When I saw it plus the fact that I had posted it my first reaction was that someone had gotten into my account. Way to pick a topic exactly 2 years ago to the day, Rowe.
SamoaRowe - December 7, 2006 05:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I realized that after the fact. Not only did you fear someone hacked your account, but then you'd probably wonder why Rhino and Tajiri are back on the Raw roster :)

<----Fell for it too.
Me: Rhyno?!?!

Your next thought would be "when did Sylvan move to Raw?"
Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2006 02:51 AM (GMT)
Yeah... but when I saw Tajiri, I KNEW something was up. I'm smaht!
SamoaRowe - December 13, 2006 03:22 AM (GMT)
Really, I thought Rob Conway winning a match would be a more obvious give away :P
Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2006 03:41 AM (GMT)
That reminds me... is Conway still employed?
SamoaRowe - December 13, 2006 04:06 AM (GMT)
I think so... haven't seen him on Raw in ages though, and I don't watch Heat online.
Ten bucks says he shows up in ECW within the next month or two B)
Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2006 04:07 AM (GMT)
I'll take that bet and raise you a Basham.
SamoaRowe - December 13, 2006 04:22 AM (GMT)
I'll raise you Snitsky if Conway shows up in ECW with the same goofy ass music and cartoonish character he was playing on Raw last time we saw him.
Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2006 04:24 AM (GMT)
Who, Snitsky or Conway? :P
Snitsky: WWECW sucking wasn't my fault!
SamoaRowe - December 13, 2006 04:35 AM (GMT)
 That would be gold. Absolute gold.
Actually, they really should send Snitsky to ECW. I think he'd fit in. He and Mike Knox could hang out and be creepy together.
Scrooge McSuck - December 13, 2006 04:46 AM (GMT)
Remember Heidenrice and Snitsky at Survivor Series '04? Creepy like that, or even worse?

Ooooo, much worse, because this time it will be EXTREME~!
Speaking of Heidenreich, they should really hire him back, Lashley needs challengers :ph43r:
