Half of the guys on this PPV weren't even legends. And why the hell are the Armstrongs beating the Midnights?
Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 09:16 PM (GMT)
I'd love to see this show. It's Heroes of Wrestling Part II!! Will you be getting it, DK?
Mad Dog - March 6, 2006 09:33 PM (GMT)
I also noticed that this show bears a striking resemblence to one of my Xtreme Suck Wrestling shows. I should sue for copyright infringement.
Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 09:38 PM (GMT)
That's some funny shit. I'm sure I've done fantasy booking that WWE ended up copying a few years back.
Mad Dog - March 6, 2006 09:53 PM (GMT)
I ran an e-fed in the late 90s that had storylines ripped off by WWE/WCW on a weekly basis almost. I had to completely change my original character when BikerTaker appeared.

I doubt it. If you need me track you down a copy of it, I could do that........but I doubt I'll be getting this myself.

Hmmm... I'm sure I can scrounge up $20 by the end of April to get someone to order it for me. :P
<--doesn't have digital cable(a.k.a what you need for PPV).
prof_plague - March 7, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
There's a difference between Legend and hasbeens.
Scrooge McSuck - May 3, 2006 05:12 PM (GMT)
I have a Digital Cable.
Someone dare me to order this and review it.
eStragand - May 3, 2006 06:57 PM (GMT)
I don't see how you CAN'T order this. It has the latest chapter in the Nikolai Volkov vs. Hacksaw Duggan WAR. A war that has raged on for almost 2 decades, now.
Plus, what will happen when two Superstars like Jake Roberts and Kamala enter the squared circle? These two Superstars have been at odds ever since the summer of 1987 and it'll all come to a head at the Legends show, exclusively on Pay-per-view.
There are wrestling fans..and then there are butt-cheese losers! You will be a butt-cheese loser if you don't order.
prof_plague - May 3, 2006 06:59 PM (GMT)
It's kind of sad that I actually want to see a few of those matches. But two are mere novelty.
Scrooge McSuck - May 3, 2006 07:20 PM (GMT)
After gathering together the remains of my brain, I won't order... yet. I'll just trick some poor sucker into giving me the money for it, so at least I can cause mental damage with someone elses money.
dynamite kido - May 3, 2006 07:22 PM (GMT)
Gotta give it up for Scrooge...............nobody loves awful wrestling shows more than him.
eStragand - May 3, 2006 08:32 PM (GMT)
Heh....although I did ask him for some Sgt. Slaughter and Kamala matches. And no, Scrooge, you can't have my Team Challenge Series tape!!
Naw, I'd concede the match-up to Scrooge, just cuz' he's probably watched way more than I ever could.
dynamite kido - May 3, 2006 09:37 PM (GMT)
You have to keep in mind that Scrooge actually REQUESTED the legends of wrestling PPV off of me.........
Scrooge McSuck - May 4, 2006 12:17 AM (GMT)
No I didn't... fuck, yes I did. I already explained myself. I'm a masochist when it comes to wrestling.
dynamite kido - May 4, 2006 12:44 AM (GMT)
Yeah, but thats the wrestling equivalent to staring the devil right in the face.
Scrooge McSuck - May 4, 2006 12:47 AM (GMT)
I've not only stared in the face of evil, I laughed at it... Then I sat in a fetal position and cried for 10 hours straight.
Scrooge McSuck - May 6, 2006 02:58 PM (GMT)
I found a schmuck to split the price with me.
May God have mercy on my soul. (grabs cross and prays in Latin)

What did you do to get him to split the price with you?

TheGreatWhiteChoate - May 6, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
I expect an excruciatingly detailed review.
Scrooge McSuck - May 7, 2006 11:48 AM (GMT)
You will recieve one... unless I hang myself outside the window before I finish, then you're out of luck. The card, while still piss poor looking, looks a lot more solid than Heroes of Wrestling. At least the Midnights vs. Armstrongs might be some good, old-time southern style 'rasslin. :P
Edit: Jim Cornette on PBP = awesome and the lighting and atomosphere is a lot better than HoW. And they have the WCW ring announcer dude instead of some random schmuck!
