Introduction

Since I've been enjoying about half of what the WWE has been putting on TV these days, I figured I'd book the WWE without the wrestlers that I can't stand, and put it here for you people to read. In doing this, I also decided to combine the brands, because after the mass firing of talent, they wouldn't need two separate brands.

WWE News and Notes

The WWE has cut their talent roster down to 64, which was their goal, after the mass firings that occured yesterday. Many agree it was a good idea to slim down the roster, as the brand split was not working well, and if the two rosters had combined earlier, many would lose their TV time.

All superstars can now appear on either Raw or Smackdown. However, some in the WWE are pushing to continue having cruiserweight matches be "Smackdown-Only" and women's matches to be "Raw-Only". Time will tell if this pans out.

As of right now, the WWE has dropped the WWE Title (previously held by JBL), the Smackdown Tag Team Titles (previously held by RVD and Rey Mysterio), and the US Title (previously held by John Cena). That leaves the WWE with the following titles:

* World Heavyweight Title (to be decided in this Sunday's Elimination Chamber match)
* Intercontinental Title (held by Shelton Benjamin)
* Tag Team Titles (held by William Regal and Eugene)
* Cruiserweight Title (held by Funaki)
* Women's Title (held by Lita)

This Thursday's Smackdown should clear up any other concerns anyone may have about the Brand Combination that I do not know the answers to yet.

The company has re-signed Jamie Noble to a contract after a dispute over his medical bill a few months ago. Apparently everything is cleared up, and the company is glad to have the talented worker back.

Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli was also re-signed. Reasons are not currently know, but many feel the WWE may have plans for him.

The line-up for Raw's New Year's Revolution this Sunday (the last brand split PPV) is as follows:

ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH FOR THE VACANT WORLD TITLE:
special referee Shawn Michaels
Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge

WOMEN'S TITLE:
Lita © vs. Trish Stratus

Obviously the WWE has alot of work to do to replace some of the workers they released. Some feel it was a bad move to release the talent on such short notice.

Hey, at least I got rid of Steve "Solar Plexus" Romero...

Scrooge McSuck - January 5, 2005 03:49 AM (GMT)
Good point... GOD DAMN THAT FUCKER SUCKS... sorry for the caps, and my constant use of "...". It's an easier way into a run on sentence without making it look obvious.

I'll still be reading... Todd Grisham was fired too, right? (goes back to check)... you DIDN'T FIRE GRISHAM!?! (throiws molotov coctail through your window)

Real F'n Show - January 5, 2005 04:14 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I needed another Heat announcer, since I'm planning on bringing Al Snow back to the ring.

Why not just hire a drunk hobo off the street? Both have the same haircut, intelligence for wrestling, and breath smell.

I would have kept JBL and Carlito around, but interesting premise.

Also a little disappointed that you're retiring the WWE Championship, but I do see where you'd be coming from. The World title on Raw has been booked to be more important.
