Title: Marty is gone, again.

jamiegeist - March 4, 2006 03:38 AM (GMT)
WWE.com posted that they have broken all professional ties with Marty Jannetty. Or something like that. Very straightforward and direct. Either its a stupid work, or he fucked up. How do you fuck up so quick?

jamiegeist - March 4, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
Just saw this posted in the general wrestling as well. Fix please.

And why the hell is it in general?

Scrooge McSuck - March 4, 2006 03:42 AM (GMT)
I think DK is right... work. Remember, Vince said if he didn't kiss ass (or eventually break the Masterlock), he wouldn't get a contract. This is a way to keep the rubes going. Jannetty will interfere at SNME because of the "Street Fight" rules.

And TURN ON SHAWN GOD DAMMIT! He deserves it! Throw him through a glass window, call the marines to kick his ass again, and resurrect the Undertaker's casket to break his back.

jamiegeist - March 4, 2006 03:45 AM (GMT)
They should bring in Beefcake for one night only just to set up the barber shop. Although if that isn't obvious, I'm not sure what is.

Shit, they would have the crowd on their knees if they just set it up. Everytime Shawn turns around and isn't looking, the crowd would just be waiting, waiting, waiting.

Wait. Nevermind. Most of these people know nothing of the Barbershop, or the Rockers, or the turn. Fuck!

Scrooge McSuck - March 4, 2006 03:45 AM (GMT)
Marty Jannetty was scheduled to appear again on Raw on Monday in Birmingham, AL, to continue as part of an angle. He was legitimately dropped from the show and the rest of the angle as of this morning due to screwing up at the wrong time. He is not expected back.

Fucking Meltzer's credible ass...

Whaa? Any word on what he screwed up?

Scrooge McSuck - March 4, 2006 07:12 AM (GMT)
Only vague "he was in deep trouble" crap. Maybe Meltzer is working us too? Please? :D

Fucking post fucked up...

As you could or should imagine, this is a disaster for WWE as they now have to go back and rewrite a major portion of their show in which I was to be included in, and with less than 3 days notice. The fact that this could happen again at any given time my [parole officer] decides against me traveling, is good reason for WWE to be concerned in another major disaster especially with Wrestlemania coming up. Could you imagine that 2 days before that show I'm told I can NOT go to Chicago. Please understand WWE's position, and believe in them as they have not closed the window of opportunity yet. We are working hard right now on getting all travel restrictions lifted. It is a good possibility that it will happen. If you really care and are concerned, believe me when I say, prayer works and is greatly needed and appreciated right now. I'm getting tons of e-mails from friends and fans hating Vince and the WWE right now. They are not at fault!!! And, they are supporting me on this, so no more hating on them, ok?? I thank all of you for your support , cares and concerns. I love you all!!! I do have a strong gut feeling everything is going to be fine!!!"

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 6, 2006 12:58 AM (GMT)
It sounds logical, but it's hard to tell from a Myspace account whether it's real or not.

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
I buy it, but also take it with a grain of salt. I can only say Marty probably does a lot of talking... er, typing on MySpace, so it's more believable than, say, The Rock.

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 6, 2006 01:00 AM (GMT)
Of course, the Rock would never have this kind of problem. If I was Janetty, I probably would have just fled the scene after I was forced to look at McMahon's ass for that long.

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 01:04 AM (GMT)
He did the next best thing... he was laughing his ass off and doing a poor attempt at hiding it for a good 3-4 minutes.

Yeah, I have to give him props for that. But I do have to admit I'm kind of tired of the "look, we're bringing back people who used to wrestle for us! Look! Look! Love us?"

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
I love it. It's kind of like what WCW did on Nitro for a while. They'd have their "current stars" and use old has-beens as well to put them over.

Wait... scratch that. Reverse. [/Willy Wonka]

TheGreatWhiteChoate - March 6, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
There are some cases (Hogan) where it's great, but I'm not sure I need to see Kamala and his giant man breasts ever again.

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
I'll agree with the Kamala hate. Has anyone here ever liked the guy? I think I've come across 1 Kamala fan ever on message boards.

jamiegeist - March 6, 2006 01:55 AM (GMT)
I really detest Tatanka and Animal being even near Smackdown. One of the guys I'm going to Smackdown in KC with is kind of a casual fan. Used to be HUGE, but died down probably around WM20. I don't know, maybe before.

But he was browsing the Smackdown webpage. I felt fuckin silly trying to explain and justify shit to him.

"Did that girl with JBL only have a job so she could have that thing bitten off her face by the Boogeyman".

Umm, I don't know. I hear she can wrestle a bit.

"Animal turned heel on Matt Hardy? That doesn't even make sense"

Yeah, I'm not sure about that.

"Fit Finlay is a wrestler again?"

I guess.

"Tatanka? As in the indian?"

Shit. Ah shit.

dynamite kido - March 6, 2006 02:02 AM (GMT)
If anyone ever makes fun of Fit Finlay becoming active again.............feel free to thrust them in the throat just for me. Finlay is fucking awesome.

But I also like midgets...

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 04:48 AM (GMT)
There's the one.

... Billy Gunn.

For the wrestlingobserver.com, Dave Meltzer and/or whomever else may be responsible, ..you guys have an easy ass job, report what you can't do yourselves but wish you could. Now with all the legit craziness in the wrestling world, it seems you wouldn't have to stoop to writing and putting out info to your faithful readers, that you have not researched and have no idea of its validity. But of course, reporting the truth isn't what you are about now is it? Any opportunity to bash anything or anyone in wrestling is paramount to you. It doesn't really shock me that you have done this with me, as I've seen your garbage quite a bit over the years.

Since it has not included me, I just shook my head in disgust and disbelief that you parasites exist at all. Take away this industry that you love to bash at any opportunity, legit or not, and you would become poor, sorry sapp, street bumbs with no jobs. With that being the truth, one would think you would show a little more respect to what pays for your trailor house rent and tv dinners. But again, nothing surprises me out of you fools!!! I just wonder do you feel like the idiot you are every time one of your ridiculous stories is proven false, or, are you too busy working on your next bs story to worry about how stupid you look??? "

Here's Da Meltz explaination

QUOTE
--Marty Jannetty claimed the reason he was dropped was because he wasn't allowed for parole reasons to travel to Alabama on Monday and thus WWE had to drop him from a continuing storyline, and that WWE is trying to help him clear it up so he can return. He was also critical of what was reported here. We were given the info that Jannetty being gone was not a work. We were told it was a disciplinary issue and creative was told to proceed as if he was gone, erase him from the already written TV and that he would never be used again. Of course in wrestling, you know what "never" means. The issue had to do with why he wasn't going to be allowed by the authorities to travel to Alabama or for future dates until it is cleared up.

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 06:13 PM (GMT)
Jannetty might not be the best person to look up to, but he fucking owned Meltzer.

How, by NOT explaining what happened?

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
All Meltzer does is report news, and in this case, paints a bad picture of someone with false news. Jannetty has a right to be pissed off. I'm sure if I had the right connections, I or anyone else could do Meltzer's job.

Well, I would beg to differ. Meltzer has been a wrestling writer for at least 25 years. You haven't even been alive that long.

Scrooge McSuck - March 6, 2006 07:43 PM (GMT)
Meltzer is that old? Damn... someone send him a cane and false teeth. :D
