Title: Something big on the horizon?

dynamite kido - February 23, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
From WrestlingObserver.com:

Something big as far as an announcement to wrestlers is expected on Monday at the combined Raw & Smackdown tapings in Washington, DC. All wrestlers on the roster, including the guys who haven't been used in a while, have been told they must be at the tapings.

My guesses:

1. End of the roster split
2. Another HHH lecture about how they can't work
3. Massive overhaul of Wrestlemania
4. paycuts
5. Massive releases

I'm going with #2, #4, and #5. #1 is a maybe now, since hardly anyone other than the same 8 people are featured prominantly on Raw and Smackdown every week.

It was hilarious the last time Triple H did that, considering his audience included Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and Ric Flair.

I'm betting it is mostly nothing. Big announcements ahve lost all meaning with WWE.

Triple H should realize if WWE didn't book him in gimmick matches for pretty much all of 2000, he wouldn't have gotten over enough. He's a good brawler, and that's it. So he's booked in nothing but No DQ, Cage, Street Fights.

I would go along the idea that there's going to be massive cuts, or big pay cuts - which would result in people leaving.

I just read some opinions over at DVDVR and I think some of them ACTUALLY may be on to something.

Some mentioned that it may be the official announcement of the drug policy............but it won't be public. So therefore everyone may have to be there............but they won't be on TV.

Otherwise, it could have something to do with Saturday Night's Main Event which I've heard they are going to do Cena/Edge and Taker/Angle again.

I've heard the same about a drug policy on other boards.

You all forgot about a possible draft.

I highly doubt they would say anything about a draft until AFTER Wrestlemania.
