Title: An innocent mark's view of TNA.
Description: I had a chat with a coworker earlier.

So I went into Best Buy, the place I work, and was looking through dvds. I was looking at TNA Genesis when a buddy of mine came up and we started talking. I mentioned that I hadn't worked the previous night and had been watching Raw at home. He said he hadn't watched wrestling in years. The following conversation went something like this.

Buddy: I used to love DX. Shawn Michaels was my hero, and I liked um, what was his name, Billy Gunn?

Me: "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn?

Buddy: Yeah!

Me: And "Road Dogg" Jesse James, Chyna, and Triple H?

Buddy: What was that other wrestling show... the WWF knock-off? It has that six-sided ring?

Me: TNA?

Buddy: Yeah! I saw Billy Gunn and Road Dogg on that the other night!

Me: Yeah, as "The James Gang."

Buddy: Where are the Hardy Boyz these days? They used to be my boys.

Me: (Shows him the Genesis cover, he gets happy). And Matt Hardy is on Smackdown, but he's not being used very well.

Buddy: (Looking at the back cover) Hey, it's Jeff Jarrett! That guy's awesome! He used to carry around the guitar!

The conversation carried on like this even further, he was also excited that PJ Polaco was Justin Credible. I just thought it would be fun to share the thoughts of a former fan who hasn't watched wrestling since the Attitude Era. It would seem to me that TNA is doing a better job playing to that crowd than WWE is.
