I'm getting paid in about a week here and I was thinking of placing an order over at ivpvideos (a great site that is REALLY cheap if anyone here is interested.....check it out)

Anyone have any suggestions on some stuff to get? I'm mainly thinking of newer stuff that I don't have as I didn't go apeshit this past year with Japan stuff. Anything NOAH, NJPW, or even some AJPW stuff (If there's anything worth getting) any help would be appreciated........

You can't go wrong with any recent NOAH, really.

Check out some Big Mouth Loud. I think you'd like it DK. I have the first two shows, and if you like stiff as hell wrestling mixed with logical angles, you'll like it.

Also, I picked up the first dragondoor show recently, and it's pretty good if you're into lucharesu at all. I'll probably get the second show somewhere down the line. Can't go wrong with Dragon's Gate either.

I don't buy any NJPW or AJPW really, so that's about all my recommendations.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I figured. I've seen the Dome show and some stuff in early Jan/Feb of last year but that's about it besides an occasional match here and there. Any specific shows you really liked RFS?

I've heard good things about BML too..........who mainly wrestles there?

I've been meaning to pick up some Dragon's Gate stuff for the longest time. Any shows you'd recommend?

Well, I'm sure MD could provide adequate NJ recommendations and I wasn't really planning on picking up any AJ unless there was some absolutely MUST HAVE stuff. Honestly though outside of maybe some Kojima Triple Crown defenses I don't think I'd even care about most of it.

I'd get some of the All Japan Classics DVDs. Anything with the Destroyer or Don Leo Jonathan would be good. Their match against each other is good stuff. Some CMLL would be good so you can see the awesome that is Perro Aguayo Jr.

11/5 is really good, as is one of the shows after that (can't remember the date) with an awesome KENTA/Shibata vs. Shiosaki/Misawa tag. 1/22 has a really fun KENTA/Marufuji singles match, although that's the only match I've seen from that show (downloaded it).

Katsuyori Shibata is the shit, you'll like him. Choshu, too. Do a search on DVDVR and you'll find info, the first two shows are great though.

There's a show from January '05 I have that has an awesome Saito/Milano match on it, as well as a great multi-man. Pretty much anything that has Blood Generation vs. Do-Fixer on it is good.
